EPHS-Chapter 450 Queen's Reward

On top of a tall building, Tenraku, Gasper, Yubelluna, and the other girls descended from the sky. The most powerful humanoid Evil Dragon and a significant number of mass-produced Evil Dragons had already been eradicated. 

The remaining mass-produced Heavenly Dragons and the Vampires could handle the rest, and there was no need for Tenraku and his group to intervene.

"Tenraku-Sama, Gasper, everyone," Valerie rushed out to welcome the triumphant group. Her face was filled with excitement and admiration for their incredible feat of eliminating so many evil dragons.

"Red Dragon Emperor, thank you for saving our Vampire race," Carmilla Queen and several Vampire elders approached. Regardless of their inner feelings, at least outwardly, they expressed gratitude to Tenraku for helping them eradicate the Evil Dragons.

"Your Majesty, there's no need to be polite. I've only fulfilled the agreement between us," Tenraku replied with a hint of implication. "Now, my Peerages and I will retire for a while. Your Majesty, please prepare the reward you owe me. I'll come to collect it later."

With a meaningful smile, Tenraku made his intentions clear. Carmilla Queen's expression stiffened, and her tone became cold as she spoke. "I will prepare it."

While the onlookers were curious about the agreement and the reward between the two, Tenraku and Carmilla Queen didn't disclose any details. Everyone could only suppress their questions and concerns.

Smiling at Elmenhilde nearby, Tenraku, accompanied by Gasper, Yubelluna, and the other girls, left the tall building.

"Elmen, stay here to handle the aftermath. The rest of you, come with me."

Carmilla Queen dropped a cold statement and walked towards her palace. Despite not understanding what was going on with Akasha-sama, Lamyahilde, Anpusha, and other Vampire elders followed.

After the intense battle, Tenraku had worked up a sweat. He washed himself and changed into fresh clothes.

"Yubelluna, I'm going to the palace of the Queen to claim the reward she owes me. It might take a few days. You all stay here and don't worry about my safety."

"Yes, Tenraku-Sama."

After instructing Yubelluna and the other girls, Tenraku headed towards the palace where Carmilla Queen resided.

Although he had already made an agreement with Queen, he suspected that she wouldn't straightforwardly pay the reward. There might be numerous traps waiting for him at this moment. 

However, Tenraku was not worried. In the face of absolute strength, all tricks and traps were just jokes. No one in this world could evade what belonged to him.

Tenraku didn't act arrogantly or aloof. He smiled and nodded in response to their greetings, occasionally asking for directions. Before long, he arrived at the resting palace of Carmilla Queen.

"Red Dragon Emperor-Sama, Queen has instructed that you can enter directly when you arrive."

Two female Vampire attendants in uniforms stood outside the resting palace. They immediately saluted upon seeing Tenraku and opened the doors for him.

"Thank you." Tenraku smiled at the two Vampire attendants and walked into the resting palace.

"The legendary Red Dragon Emperor, his blood must be very delicious..."

"What nonsense are you thinking? Red Dragon Emperor-Sama is the benefactor of our Vampire race."

"Hmph, I'm just thinking. Is it wrong to fantasize? Actually, you also want to taste that person's blood, don't you?"

Of course, Tenraku couldn't hear the two female Vampire attendants discussing the idea of tasting his blood. At this moment, he had already entered the resting palace.

As the resting place of the Queen, the entire palace was extravagantly decorated. However, the atmosphere inside gave off a somewhat eerie feeling. The patterns on the walls, pillars, and screens added to the unsettling ambiance.

In the middle of the resting palace, Tenraku finally laid eyes on the Queen.

It was a brief exchange, and both of them locked eyes with each other. Carmilla Queen, adorned in a fiery red fringe gown, a golden crown, silver silky hair, impeccable beauty, and a noble yet cold demeanor, was a sight to behold.

If one had to describe it, it was breathtaking, beyond description!

With shining eyes, Tenraku did not conceal the aggressive and fervent gaze. Carmilla Queen seemed indifferent, even smiling as she gracefully stood up, holding two wine glasses.

"Care for a taste?"

The glasses weren't ordinary; they were made of precious crystal, containing a half-cup of reddish liquid.

"Blood?"

Accepting one of the glasses, Tenraku furrowed his brows slightly.

"Indeed."

"What, are you afraid to drink it?"

With a teasing look in her eyes, Carmilla Queen seemed to be provoking him. Tenraku knew she was trying to get a reaction, but he just smiled without saying anything.

Blood, as if that could scare him.

Sniffing it, there was no strong scent of blood. Instead, there was a faint and pleasant fragrance. Tenraku took a sip, and his eyes lit up.

And it surprisingly tasted good!

"Hehehe, not bad, right?"

"It's made from the blood of pure and innocent human girls, mixed with dozens of rare herbs. Even for you Devils, it's a precious tonic."

Elegantly sipping from her own glass, Carmilla Queen added with a touch of her red lips.

Pure-blood Vampires fed on the blood of other species. Premium blood could not only satisfy their hunger but also enhance their strength. Humans, weak but with delicious blood, were their preferred and favorite source.

"Your Majesty, let's get down to business."

"I've fulfilled the agreement to eliminate the Evil Dragons. Shouldn't Your Majesty pay the reward as agreed?" Tenraku spoke after setting down the wine glass. Carmilla Queen, hearing this, instantly turned icy.

"Indeed, the Sex Dragon Emperor is already impatient, isn't he?" Mocking laughter escaped her lips as she spoke.

"Regardless of how Your Majesty sees it, I just want to receive the reward I deserve now."

"Or does Your Majesty intend to default on the payment?"

Narrowing his eyes, Tenraku exuded a dangerous aura as he spoke...
