Time for the Reincarnation, right?

No. No, it was not.

It was not yet the time for reincarnation, especially considering that this wasn't the usual go to soul for a reincarnation, after all how should the procedure for a damn soul that is formed like a damn chain go, it wasn't even a proper soul!

The problem was that it wasn't just shaped like a chain, the problem that it WAS a damn chain. It was the soulmate chain, and the outer gods didn't know how to deal with this, or better said, they didn't want to reincarnate it, because the uses and advantages of this action were unknown.

Neutral just let out an exasperated sigh, who would have thought that dealing with this trouble would be this difficult?

"Ehm, can't you just throw me out somewhere in the omniverse?"

"Yeah, forget that. You'll just land somewhere in the void, it's not worth it."

Chara nodded, void travel wasn't something special in her universe, but the damn calculations to it where.

Alignment with the universe, placement and position of your soul, relative distance calculated in void space, reassuring that you still existed. Simply said, making sure that you don't disappear in the void is difficult.

Of course, you could brute force ignore that rule with a strong enough soul, but she couldn't really be categorized as such, so doing void travel would be a dangerous venture.

"Then what to do? I mean, I didn't really ask for it, but I'd rather like to be reincarnated, instead of disappearing from existence, or you know, waiting for an eternity, doing nothing."

Neutral chuckled as she heard that. Yes, this was a bit of fun, when was the last time she had that after she turned into a goddess.

She just flicked Chara's head, before seemingly starting to contact someone.

"That's obvious. Nobody has fun spending a very long time alone in a sealed off space."

After she said that her call was finally picked up.

"Hey, Chaos. Can you help me deal with some stuff?"

"What a surprise! To get contacted from the Neutral brat from the Underverse. What do you want?"

"Yeah, it literally isn't a pleasure talking with you annoying old hag."

"Hah, talking about the concept of age. Even if everything here has a certain end, even us, trying to insult me with something like that is quite boring, don't you think so too?"

"Well, as right as you might be, the fact that you were beaten black and blue by little brother Evil was a sight to behold."

"..."

After she mentioned that little event, the other side of the speaker was strangely silent. It would have been unnerving beyond any sense if the being receiving this intent was anything lower than what could be considered a god, instantly killing them, but Neutral was a being beyond the understanding of a normal god, so she just shrugged it off and acted as if nothing happened.

Until suddenly several portals of unknown cause and origin materialized all around her in several different dimensions, trying to harm her.

She just pulled her main weapon, which seemed to be a big crystal, out of nowhere, blocking each attack that tried hitting her, even returning the favor by blasting some kind of energy wave back into the holes of reality where the attacks came from.

"Aw, shit! Why did you have to retaliate so much?"

"Be happy that I didn't use the key to activate the god slaying puppet."

"Tch, such a measly toy doesn't..."

"The outer god slaying puppet. The one that has the mass and power of a multiverse behinds it's back and is about as strong as me."

"..."

The other side of the speaker was strangely silent once again, but this time of getting an unsettling feeling, a feeling of deep confusion came over.

"Where the actual hell do you three get such powerful artifacts? Is that why the Underverse can claim independence?"

Neutral laughed as she heard that question. No.

"No, it's not."

Chaos let out an exasperated sigh as she heard that 'answer'. She was the origin of Chaos in the Omniverse and yet she is getting toyed around by these brats.

"Don't delude yourself, you are not the only one."

She sighed internally. Fine! She was ONE of the few origins of Chaos in the Omniverse.

"Just as your brother turned into the origin for Good in the omniverse, huh? Well, who care about that kind of trivia, you still haven't told me why you are contacting me though?"

"Well, I need you to forge a soul for me."

"Sigh, at this point I am not even surprised at your outlandish question anymore. Do you even have the necessary ingredients to forge a soul, I doubt you would want me to dump a shit ton of chaos into its creation, right?"

Neutral nervously laughed as she heard her say that. Never again.

"I am not sure, but I think this should be enough to make an entire new soul out of it, and I am sure that the material is quite resilient and compatible with you element, so that's why I am asking you."

"Why not make it yourself?"

"Are you joking? In what kind of plain of existence do you need to be to think that something very close to origin neutrality would be a good material to use for soul forging?"

"Bahahahahaha! You are right, that would be a stupid thing to do! Why did I even suggest it? Bahahahaha!"

"Will you do it, or not? Just answer me."

"Just wait a moment, I come over."

Neutral cut off the line of communication and turned around.

"There you are. Well, what do you think about the material?"

To Chara's surprise someone just materialized besides Neutral, something that she couldn't quite grasp with her eyes as it only gave her very mixed and confused signals. What also was confusing her was that the two of them were apparently talking about some strange material to forge a soul, while staring at her and talking about her.

It couldn't be, right?

"Am I the material?"

Both of the gods looked up and now paid attention to her as a person and not as some kind of rare material.

"Oh, how interesting of you to realize that you are seized up as a material, few beings realize that they are about to be used up as random material to forge a new soul and even more few can understand the primal speech we are using when talking about such subjects. For your info, yes you are about to be used up as material. Does it scare you, terrify you, shake you in your deepest core? Tell me, tell me, I want to hear from you personally how you feel about this! Even if I could read your thoughts, forcing life to spill it's secret out to me is one of the things that frill me! TELL ME!"

Chaos was obviously getting off of this kind of thing, just having a soul experience inner turmoil turned her kind of on, no matter how insignificant the being is, as long as their inner turmoil is big enough, she would enjoy it.

"Chaos, stop your insensitive..."

Of course, Neutral didn't like that kind of reaction, mainly because it reminded her off the nature of her brother. A big concentration of very many unnerving feelings. Well, Chara didn't care much what was about to happen to her.

"To be honest, I don't care so much about all of that business. I have no one left that would care about me anyways. The universe I was from is all gone now, and my current memories are just painful shackles, tying me back to memories of a better time that would never let me rest into a new life. The only reason why I am even existing is because I was the bond of two very strong individuals. I am even using one of their names as mine. To be honest I don't mind being used as a material, just knowing that I am responsible for a new life to come to existence makes me honestly pretty happy!"

Chaos sighed, what a boring reaction for her. She wanted to revel in the pain and suffering of a person that didn't quite fulfilled their life's desire yet, not seeing someone being enlightened, discarding mortal desire and suffering, just like a certain person with really big earlobes and a birthmark on their forehead.

"How boring! I wanted a way more different reaction, like panic, or denial, or distress, but as it looks, I have someone in front of me that was forcefully enlightened by losing all mortal possessions that could have been possessed."

"So, are you going to help me out, or not, old lady?"

"Piss off. I'll take your request. Now quit bothering me, I have places to be and thing to do. Sayonara!"

With that she took 'Chara' and disappeared somewhere in all of creation.

Neutral had a proud expression on her face, she was satisfied with how things turned out in the end. Finally, onto less bothersome stuff, she opened a portal herself and left through it...

...just to be met with her brother Evil and Infected! duking it out brutally, endangering multiple multiverses in the 'near vicinity'.

""AAAAAAHHHAHHAAAAAAHHHAAAAAHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAA!""

Neutral gulped, the way she entered the scene might have been comedic, but the whole situation was as worse as expected. Two beings with the strength of a being with a soul tier nearing ten duking it out in the middle of literal nowhere, still managing to destabilize part of the nearest code in the multiverse, was needlessly to say, very dangerous.

(Well, for everyone that understands that I am kind of using Einlions classifications of soul tier here...

...if you have complained just go to the Alpha!Tale wiki and read the abilities of some of the characters there. Most of them just have a literal 'nope' move that delete apparent god like beings and can erase an entire universe with the blink of an eye, as if the mass conversations principle didn't exist and that is the default for most of them. So, I have reason enough to give them the status of haha, too OP it's not even fun to read anymore. Yes, that is the absolute power creeping the people have reached in the Undertale AU fandom. Multiverse controlling a governing deserves that classification.)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile in another part of the Omniverse that isn't growing bigger by itself by the second.

Chaos was carrying Chara on her shoulders, landing inside of the realm he..., her? Chaos. Chaos owns.

"Well, we are here. Time to forge you into a beautiful soul!"

Chaos said that, while dropping her down onto her butt. Chara was still very disoriented about...

...basically, everything that was going on here, it was confusing as hell, but still, she decided to go along with all of this, can't do anything else after all in her situation.

"What exactly is going to happen to me? Everything around me is far too high-concept for me after all."

"Fair point."

Chara stared at the being in front of her for a moment before she slowly lost a bit more of her patience.

"Do I have to wait to be reforged into a soul or something?"

"No, I just do it to go on your nerves."

"Well, alright then. When are you going to do all that soul forging?"

"When I am in the mood?"

"Are you in the mood?"

"No really. No."

Was she currently really talking to a god that governs part of existence and non-existence? Because it really didn't feel like that.

"Are you ready now?"

"No."

"Are you ready now?"

"Nope."

"How about now?"

"Still not."

"Now?"

"Uhm, doesn't seem that way."

"Jetzt?"

"Ohoh, du hast du Sprache gewechselt?"

"Are you ready now?"

"Wait a bit..."

Well, if that is going to go like that, she is also going to let her thoughts deteriorate and started asking like a child being impatient for something.

After all, she just isn't able to do absolutely anything here.

After about what four-dimensional beings would call an eternity later Chaos finally decided to do the task she has been given.

"Hhmmmmm, about now I would say."

"Are you ready now? I mean, finally! I've waited for so long!"

"Lookie at that, you seem to still possess your consciousness."

"So that ordeal had to do with my forging?"

"Nope, not really, I was just bored."

"Well, can we finally start now? You are wasting a lot of time and words."

"Indeed, I have been. Now please follow me, it's time..."

A cloud seemingly branched off of Chaos body, probably being one of their limbs or something. After that limb materialized it rushed towards Chara, cleanly piercing through her chest.

And no, it wasn't piercing her on a spiritual level, her body, her entire being was pierced through, she could feel how the 'limb' was flailing inside her, seemingly trying to find something to grab, after a while it found hold on something and pulled it out.

It was a large bright red chain, illuminating the surroundings, well if you could call it that. It seemed like the light that was coming from the chain was swallowed away from the chaos around them.

"...to forge you into a soul. Man, that long pause totally ruined my cool action. Why did your core had to be so difficult to find?"

Before Chara could say anything, Chaos continued to pull on the chain that came out of her chest. She felt how her entire being got muddled, she felt how all of her memories slowly started to get pulled apart, her feelings separated, her senses split and combined, it felt weird, really weird, but for some reason she felt that she shouldn't resist, no she didn't' want to resist.

Weirdly enough, she even enjoyed this feeling, it felt that all her past worries, anxieties, fears, all of that didn't matter, but she could also feel how joy, happiness and bliss also was melting from her being.

Feeling that, she wanted to resist, but she stopped herself from doing that, her past life won't matter in her next lives, they would only be in her way, it would be better if she would get rid of all of that.

Blissful memories would only grow into painful ones and painful ones would only tear her apart the more were accumulated.

Yes, what she wanted was a new start, a new start from her old self, a new start for herself, a new start ignoring the things that previously happened, just how you would put the things that happened yesterday behind you and not dwell on them anymore.

She waited for a New Dawn.

"Whew, that took a while. But I must admit that you are the longest chain I ever saw in the time I existed."

At the end of the process, she turned into a huge chain, seemingly covering everything in sight of this place.

"The two people that you connected truly must have been in love. Makes you wonder why they didn't choose to be the same being and share one soul like most of us will decide to do if they find a partner they want to be together with."

Chaos said with a gleeful voice. The chain that was Chara wasn't really conscious anymore and as that couldn't really respond to them.

"Man, what am I doing? Trying to talk with a material."

Chaos was about to continue with the process, but then they suddenly felt the chain humming as if they agreed on what they just said.

They had to chuckle, that wasn't something he expected to happen.

"Interesting, how interesting. To be able to stay conscious in this kind of state, but can you keep going even after this?!"

Chaos pulled on the chain, making that massive amount of mass equivalent to a couple of galaxies gravitate to one singular point, a point in the middle of his palm.

All of that mass converged into that point, until it wasn't any bigger than a soccer ball.

"Not yet."

But the process seemed to not be finished yet.

Chaos now started to touch that ball of pure, primordial energy and pressed it together, creating a big shockwave upon contact, slowly, but surely, she started to compact it.

"Not yet."

After a while Chaos managed to compress the chain enough that his two limbs almost touched, but then once again something unexpected happened.

The compressed energy of the being that this chain was, was suddenly bursting out without any warning.

It wasn't as if it resisted, it was just that this material contained so much energy that Chaos couldn't keep it stable.

"Haha, as expected. This really is something used for a good soul."

With these words Chaos put more vigor into the creation of this soul, using a part of his authority to keep it under control.

Chaos itself surrounded the energy, trying to contain it in its place, despite its inherent nature, but that still wasn't enough.

The energy was still raging unstable, getting more out of hand by the second.

If uncontrollable was a part of chaos, the energy did the exact opposite of chaos to oppose it, to get out of its grasp.

Chaos chuckled. He couldn't believe what he experienced in front of him. The energy didn't refuse to get formed by him, because of the consciousness inside of it, it tried to get free, because it contained some of the most profound energy in existence and it refused to get shaped by anyone.

"Too bad the one you have to deal with is me!"

He used more of his authority to suppress the ever-opposing energy into the soul he creates, slowly the hazy outline of his turned more defined, clearer, into an image that a being could comprehend when looking at him.

Something a normal human mind could understand, without collapsing in itself.

"As always, true, primordial, outer gods have many names they go with. As always, we have lower vessels that we imprint some part of our authority on, so they can interact with lower concepts, but this time I make an exception, this time I use a part of my true authority to shape this soul. Call me Chaos, Disorder, Unrest, Oblivion or even Thanatos if you want so, I don't care, but by my True Name I will shape this soul and you volatile energy trying to oppose me won't stop me!"

Saying this Thanatos channeled her authority to give the last push to shape this soul.

The volatile energy got completely suppressed and the closest thing to describe the situation was that an implosion happened.

Momentarily sucking in the matter that was around it.

The energy still swirled around for a moment, before it gravitated to a point and shaped a soul, Thanatos was happy with the results.

The soul in front of them, just like it's original source, had limitless potential, it could reach soul tier levels of beings like her and it had the unique ability to be able to even suppress it's realms to lower ones, meaning that she could travel anywhere without having to fear to just collapse the universe with its mere presence.

Well, but that was still a long way to go, what was in front of her was a brand-new soul with no data in it whatsoever. Something that didn't existed since the creation of all, after all, all souls usually get recycled and in very few cases they get destroyed, but even then, you could recycle the remnants of these destroyed souls, up until now it just wasn't necessary to create a new batch of souls.

"Well, what now?"

Thanatos slowly turned around, acting as if she was looking into a camera.

"Isn't it obvious? Shirking my responsibilities and pushing them onto my kohais tasked with reincarnation, woohoo!"

With that he opened a portal to somewhere, without forgetting to take the soul with him.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A certain female? goddess with undefined body features was observing the dreams and souls of people. She? did that with her? deep eyes that seemingly contained entire worlds and galaxies.

She? was slowly contemplating which of them deserved another change at live or should burn in agony, repenting for the sins they made in their last life.

Other than some gods and goddesses nowadays, she? was one of the few that didn't fall from grace and just reincarnate the next soul that they find in a radius of two universes, with wishes and all, just because they weren't 'entertained'.

She? was properly checking the background, positive and negative karma, and LOVE of the soul, just as her? job description for reincarnating souls was supposed to be.

But of course, she? didn't just reincarnate, because it was her? job to do. She? truly loved and enjoyed what she? did.

She? just found beauty in observing the people she? had to reincarnate, to be precise, she? found beauty in their dreams and hopes.

She? especially enjoyed conversing with the few purely good souls, who just had a lot of natural positive Karma.

More often than not they were souls that didn't get the chance to enjoy their life, more often than not they were poor souls whose body were getting exploited, because in doing so they would benefit the masses.

Sometimes they were great heroes with big ideals, trying to befriend all that were in their way, truly wishing and believing that everyone could coexist peacefully, rarely could they reach that goal, more often than not getting stabbed in the back by a lover or friend they believed in.

She? had to sigh, lately there wasn't any kind of souls like that getting to her?, she? was a bit frustrated about that. She? was sure that someone was intercepting these souls, forcefully reincarnating them in the same world and sometimes even in the same timeline again, letting them go through an ever-burning revenge spree, until their lives were exhausted.

These were the kinds of souls she? was getting lately, but she? wasn't letting that bother her?, after all they were also once great heroes, they just had to repent for their sins in their next live.

Well, it wasn't as if these were the only hero souls she? was getting lately, of course there were the few exceptions that managed to convince their country to coexist with monsters, these timelines, these worlds were beautiful and flourishing greatly.

Of course, not everyone had mostly good karma, there were also many with bad karma, but of course the biggest part of the many souls was their karma balanced out, normal people leading normal lives, but all of them had dreams, dreams that were beautiful and bright and just because someone tilts the scales a bit more to the bad karma side didn't mean that their souls can't reach for salvation.

Once again she? enjoyed observing the dreams of people, she? was the goddess of dreams after all.

Suddenly she felt a shiver run down her spine, not because any sense of danger or repulse came, it was because the mentioned person enjoyed that reaction out of anybody.

It was her senpai, Chaos, also called Thanatos.

Why she had the authority over Chaos and also Death? It was simple, all that truly dies shall return to chaos, the original state of all beings. That counted especially for the ones that died a peaceful death.

"Hello Dream, or should I call you Klyscha? Well, considering that you aren't absolutely the only one that governs dreams and aren't standing on top as the superior of all 'Dreams', I shall call you by your true name, Klyscha."

Klyscha nodded, she might not have known any gods that also governed Dreams and were the same soul rank as her, but she was sure that her senpai wouldn't lie to her, especially considering that she was in her true form.

"It's nice to see you, Thanatos-senpai. What business do you have with me, that leads you to me?"

"Well, it's just that you are very diligent in your work, right?"

"I am thankful for senpais compliment, but I am just doing what I am supposed to do. Judge souls by their Karma and give them benefits according to their achievements, I didn't do anything special."

Thanatos just started laughing loudly as she heard Klyscha say that it was indeed very funny.

"Klyscha, you don't know, or at least you are acting oblivious, but very many gods are abandoning their responsibilities and reincarnate people left and right. Some of them are clearly not cut out for their positions, not double-checking if the soul they got truly had good karma tilting the scale to the good side. Some even reincarnate, just because they are bored and again others just do it for their enjoyment, having someone work so genuinely like you is rather uncommon!"

Thanatos said with loud laughter. Klyscha just nodded, but still, she felt a bit happy that her work got praised like that.

"Anyways, take that soul and reincarnate it somewhere fitting, I have things to do and am busy with dealing with special designation targets, bye!"

And with that Thanatos disappeared. Letting a confused dream goddess behind.

The Undertale Fandom. We've reached far and wide for the pursue of more content on a fun game that is now a part of our life.

I dare so myself that this is an absolute clusterfuck that just grows big and bigger.

Well, at least it isn't all interconnected in some strange way like Kingdom Hearts or the greater Nasuverse...

...or is it? Is this the reason why I can walk through the hell of the Type/Moon fandom with getting insane?

Was I already insane from the Undertale AU fandom and didn't notice that I walk into another hell?

Meh, who cares. I have fun here.

(If you didn't notice, the three chapters here are kind of a big shitpost, just formulated in a very weird and abstract story.)
