Chapter 2: I'm tired of waiting.

Lauren had two brothers named Joseph and Joses. Joseph was the eldest of the three siblings making him responsible of his two siblings since their parents had died ten years ago.

Being only 3 years older than Lauren and 7 years older than Joses, at 27, he was fit to be called a father by the two coz he had played a big role in bringing them up ever since their parents died.

For as young as 17, Joseph was living his dream of film making. At age 22, he was already a successful film maker, director and producer. His company had landed big contracts with big names in the industry worth millions of dollars despite his age.

This had brought him fame in the whole Stone city making his company the most successful in the whole city. However, his fame did not only end Stone city as it had spread to other cities including the capital and eventually the whole country and abroad as well.

His works had gained national and international recognition making him win most of the prestigious international awards in the industry. He had also a number of seven star hotels both in the capital and Stone city.

This made him a billionaire at such a young age.

However, regardless of his fame and success, he always kept a low profile. Whenever in public, it's only a few who would recognise him as he always disguised himself not to fetch himself trouble from the media.

Joses was an all-round student from a young age. His strength and passion for sport made him known throughout the whole Stone city. From Primary throughout the high school, he had attained scholarships and he had a free education. He gained scholarships from the best universities in Stone city and the neighboring cities including the capital as well.

However, due to his love for basketball, he had turned down all there offers and was now playing for a top flight basketball league team based in Stone City and he had quit school.

The two brothers moving to the capital had been brought about by the need to set up a branch or probably relocate his corporation's headquarters to the capital.

Regardless of Joseph being the founder and CEO, and having the most individual shares of up to 91% of the corporation, he didn't want to clash with the other stakeholders who had demanded the headquarters to be relocated to the capital though his say would be final.

Lauren sat on a couch in the waiting area at the airport. In her hands was a card on which two names (BIG JOE.. LIL JOE.. ) were written. She looked exhausted from the long wait since she had now waited for close to three hours. A sad chuckle escaped her lips as now she was finally giving up the wait when her phone rang.

Digging for it from her hand bag, she managed to get it and and looked at the caller name before answering it. " I'm tired of waiting.. and I'm finally leaving. What's taking you long for goodness'sake. The journey is only 15 mins. " She burst even before saying a greeting to the caller.

" Relax Sisel... Actually we are already at your house sorry for not informing earlier. Big Joe decided that we use road means since it's only 2 hours from Stone City to the Capital." A calm voice came from the other end.

" Give him the phone I need to talk to him." Lauren frowned still with anger evident on her face.

" Actually he's not here, something came up and he had to rush to one of his hotels." Lil Joe replied still calmly.

Outside Lauren's home.

Lauren's home was located in a quiet neighborhood. Judging from the houses around, it looked like the place was filled with only rich guys as all houses were well built and furnished. Being only separated by small fences, the place looked like a multimillion dollar estate.

Lil Joe was standing outside which seems to be Lauren's home with a number of suitcases beside him. He was still talking on the phone with his sister when a car suddenly parked just a few inches Infront of him.

Seeing that he was almost being knocked down, he bid his sister goodbye before ending the call.

With anger fuming within him, he decided to confront the car's driver and before he could vent his anger out, out came an 18 year old boy but judging from his looks, he was so cute to be a boy.

Lil Joe stood perplexed at the sight of the dude and instantly fell into fantasy. " Wow.... He's just so cute to be a boy. I wish he was a girl I wouldn't hesitate falling for her."

Lil Joe was still in his fantasy when he was suddenly taken from his fantasy land with the sweet voice he heard." Hey dude... Is big sis around. And what the hell are you doing out here alone." Belinda muttered while looking at the strange and absentminded guy.

" Wait... Is he some kind of ghost... His voice sounds angelic." Lil Joe thought to himself before breaking from his fantasy.

"Ooooh you mean Sisel.. oh sorry Lauren. Actually she's on her way here and besides I'm her younger brother Joses." Lil Joe muttered while extending his hand for a hand shake.

" Anyway sorry for almost knocking you down. I didn't expect to find someone standing out here." She muttered while shaking his hand.

Lil Joe remained perplexed as he couldn't discern whether he was talking to a girl or boy. Belinda was wearing a basketball jersey vest coupled with shorts and had short kept hair and hardly had any makeup on her which made her look more of a boy. But judging from the facial features and other features, there's no way this was a boy.

Lil Joe stood still while holding Belinda's hand still battling with assumptions in his head until he decided to take it that he was talking to some fairly tale creature.

However his questions were answered when he heard her introduce her self." Actually I'm Belinda. The younger sister to Lillian... Big sis' best friend. And regarding big sis I think I'll have to wait." She muttered while releasing herself from the hand shake.

" How many surprises will I get from him... Oooh...I mean her. All along she's a girl. I think I'm falling for her." Lil Joe thought to himself with a smile plastered on his face.

Belinda's gaze did not leave the guy who was acting weird Infront of her as she saw him plastering some smile every now and then while stealthily glancing at her whenever he got a chance.

The interaction between the two remained the same as Belinda's gaze hardly left the weird guy. While Lil Joe continued stealthily gazing at her and gazing away guiltily whenever there gazes met.

The two were finally saved from their agony of gazes by Lauren whose car had just parked beside Belinda's...
