I am about to go out on a date with Luke. When I realized that his car is in the parking lot after he told me he came with his friend. So, I decided to ask him upfront. I watch as he stopped dead in his tracks and now I know that this answer is going to be very interesting.

"I...uhm...well, you see"

He stops in the middle of his sentence and then he swallows deeply. Now, I know for sure, whatever he is going to say it is going to be a lie. I do not know why you would lie to me but I wait in anticipation for him to finish his sentence.

"...as you know, the women you brought into the hospital is actually the wife of one of my friends. And so, I just wanted to come and check up on him…I mean her"
