Chapter 63
Everyone woke up the following morning and Sebastian explained the big move to them causing them to agree with him and start to eat breakfast. After they ate breakfast, they all equipped their Hunter Corp uniforms and Captain cloaks. Sebastian gave the trio a pair of Extra Uniform and they all left the house only to get stopped by a squad 2 soldiers running up to them.
"SIR!" Shouted the soldier.
"What is it Soldier?" asked Sebastian
"A boss has spawned in the Zero District! It is slowly making its way towards the residential area!" answered the Soldier.
The Zero District was another one of this city many faults, the area was completely ungraded due to someone's arrogance and the entire area was run over with ghouls causing them to seal of the area from leaking into the city.
"Allright I'll go take of it you go back with Vice Captain Junak here to base and get back up if I can't defeat it." stated Sebastian.
"SIR!" shouted the soldier.
Junak gave Emily a quick kiss on the cheek and then got the military truck filling it with the trio who looked at Sebastian with worry and everyone else climbed in as well.
"Good Luck Sebastian!" said Hanabira.
Sebastian threw them a thumbs up and then suddenly turned into a red flash traveling through the air.
On the drive back to the military base Gale a question which was on his mind.
"Is someone dating Sebastian?" asked Gale.
The car served as Junak was not expecting that question.
"Why do you ask?" said Junak.
"Well it seems everyone in your group are dating people so I was just curious." stated Gale.
"Sebastian did have someone but they just passed away three months ago..." replied Sapphire softly.
"Oh, I'm Sorry I didn't mean to bring up bad memories." said Gale quickly.
"No, it's fine you might have heard of her name was Nikuya Krov the previous captain of Squad 1." said Sapphire.
"Seriously Sebastian dated her!" shouted Lio.
"Well he didn't tell her up front that he liked her but they had their wholesome moments" said Hanabira shaking her head softly.
"It's true he was truly happy until the accident happened." said Emily.
"What accident?" asked Angel.
"Nikuya went out to take care of a boss and Sebastian was busy fighting a Boss in the city so he couldn't help her. She was gone for a week and no radio contact. When suddenly one of her team members came stumbling in the city with her dead body. He said they were ambushed by multiple bosses that worked with one another but she would have been able to handle those." said Hanabira.
"How did she die then?" asked Gale.
"There are a lot of theories a new boss came out of no were that killed her but the most likely one is that she was back stabbed..." replied Hanabira softly.
"By her own men!" shouted Lio.
"Yes, it is quite convenient that the lone survivor was turned into the Captain of the squad the following day isn't it." answered Hanabira.
"Anyway, when the news reached Sebastian, he almost went into a blind rage were one moment he was having a blank face and then an anger one again it took all of us even Junak summoning Enkidu to hold him back from destroying the hunter corp." stated Sapphire.
"My sister also didn't take the news well." whispered Hanabira.
"When she heard the news, she busted into squads' one's base and fought the new captain and almost was almost killed by him... When the head captain heard of this, he had no other reason but to suspend Toge causing her to as everyone else says have an Early retirement." said Hanabira.
"Where is she now?" asked asked Gale.
"I don't know she just left me a letter saying she is going away and left." mumbled the captain.
"It took Sebastian 2 months to recovery back to his usual self." said Emily.
"Poor Sebastian..." whispered Angel.
The rest of the drive was quiet.
At Sebastian he arrived at the Zero sector and saw the boss slowly making its way to the gate with a hoard of Ghouls behind it.
The boss was called Jack the Ripper, he was an unnaturally tall figure that had clawed gauntlets, he was covered with a ragged black cloak and he had a black top hat, he wore a classic plague doctor mask with glowing green eyes his level was 100.
Sebastian slowly took out one katana and walked towards the Boss who sent him an unnatural scream that sounded like a man and woman screaming at the same time.
The man took out 6 throwing knives and chucked them straight at the boss who jumped up in the air dodging them but the ghoul hoard behind him didn't dodge and was obliterated into a pile of ash, Jack looked in front of him and Saw Sebastian was in front of him and he had a spinning red orb in his hand.
"[Hametsu]" spoke Sebastian out calmly.
The giant red beam came in contact with Jack and blasted him backwards in the ground. When the dust settled it showed Jack was holding a stump of his right arm that was completely blown away from the attack.
"[ Wicked Slicer]!" shouted Jack.
He sent 5 glowing green slashes at Sebastian that knocked all of them away in a building causing them to shatter under the force. When the man landed on the ground, he lunged forward like a bullet taking both swords out and spun in the middle of the lung quickly activating Air Hop to boost him forward his swords gaining a golden glow.
"[V for Victory]!" breathed Sebastian out.
The swords came into contact with Jack and then Sebastian was behind the boss sheathing his katanas, seconds later Jack exploded behind him in a rain of black blood. The teen released a sigh and then started his journey back towards the base. In the ride back, they had almost arrived at base.
"One last thing I want to ask." Said Gale.
"Shoot." replied Junak.
"What is Sebastian's level?" asked Gale.
Everyone was quiet for a few seconds before Junak spoke up.
"We'll let me ask you first what are you guys levels?" said Junak.
"79" said Lio
"78" said Angel
"82" responded Gale.
"Wow you guys are pretty strong!" praised Emily them.
"And you guys?" asked Angel.
"93" said Emily.
"90" said Sapphire.
"90" said Hanabira.
"102" responded Junak.
Their numbers made the trios jaw to drop on the floor.
"How the hell are you guys so strong!" shouted Lio.
"We have just been in a lot of more serious fights than you guys." said Junak in a serious tone.
"Sebastian's Level is higher than all of ours." mumbled Junak.
As he was talking, they arrived at the base and saw Sebastian was standing there talking to the backup they soon nodded at him and went back to training.
The truck stopped and everyone climbed out but just as Gale was climbing out Junak spoke to him.
"He is 135" said Junak softly.
This number made Gales eyes grow to the size of saucers and he shakenly climbed out the truck.
"What took you guys so long?" asked Sebastian.
"Junak is a slow driver" responded Emily as she gigled.
"Wha..Am not!" protested Junak.
"You need a shower Sebastian" said Sapphire as she pinched her nosed closed.
"Yeah that damn boss sprayed its blood on me" grumbled Sebastian he sighed and started walking to the bases wash rooms.
"All right we have to go to the office and probably prepare for tonight's party which I'm not excited for at all" said Hanabira as she muttered the last part to herself.
"What should we wear?" asked Emily.
"I'll come and help you later if you want?" said Sapphire.
"Yes, thank you! "shouted Emily.
She had a bright smile on her face.
"And you Junak make sure Sebastian puts on a nice suit ok?" said Hanabira.
"Fine Fine." mumbled Junak.
"Good Now Cheers see yall later!" shouted Hanbira.
Everyone said goodbye as everyone left to their separate bases Junak took the trio in the squad 2 base and immediately started training them.
