Work Together

Lucifer crossed his arms and legs elegantly as he looked over at the man, who sat down across from him, "So, have you decided to join me or not?"

The man blinked a few times at Lucifer's question and then he broke into an awkward chuckle as he reached for the tea set at the middle of the table in between them, jumping over Lucifer's question as if he had not heard it. 

"Would you like some tea?" He asked instead, beginning to pour himself a cup of warm tea. Lucifer's eyes did not travel down to the tea cups as he leaned back slightly, responding, "I'm good, thank you."

The man grinned softly as he finished pouring one cup to the brink and took a sip slowly. 

Lucifer seemed to wait for him, not pressing him with any other question, and only until the man set the tea cup back down did he open his mouth to ask again, but the man quickly cut in before him, "How are you?"
