Caught in the middle of desire

"Still mad at me?" Iridessa chuckled, flipping the eggs on the pan.

"Why wouldn't I be upset? I specifically asked for mozzarella sticks and burgers, and all you brought back was yourself and a ring," Indiana grumbled, stuffing her face with eggs.

"But she said sorry, didn't she," Nathaniel said with a laugh, swiping through his phone.

"Be quiet," Indiana retorted, shoving a forkful of eggs in Nathaniel's mouth. Nathaniel, Indiana and iridessa lived together and shared the rent because living in Greenwich is quite pricey.

"I'll make it up to you, I promise. I'll get you anything you want for a whole week," Iridessa reassured her, taking a seat on the kitchen stool.

"Where did you say you got that ring from again?" Nathaniel inquired, eyeing her expectantly.

"An antique shop. The owner insisted I take it," she explained, hastily eating her breakfast. She needed to head to work early since a big celebrity was scheduled to visit today, and she wanted to assist them in selecting outfits and accessories. Being a personal shopper wasn't her ultimate goal, but it was a step in the right direction.

Her boss, Madame Rosaline, seemed like she was going to choose her, and she was eagerly anticipating it. She definitely didn't want to be late.

"So he just handed it to you without taking any money, even though I know that their is no way you can't afford that ring," Nathaniel responded.

"Yeah, I was shocked. It's the kind of thing that would usually be locked away in a high-security vault in a big store, not sitting in some random antique shop," Iridesssa remarked as she carried her plate to the sink.

"There's just something off about that ring and the man," Indiana commented. Iridessa rolled her eyes, Indiana always finds something strange about everything new, like the little stray dog Nathaniel brought home last month. Indiana said, and she quoted, "There's something off about this dog," with her eyes narrowed in suspicion.

Or was it the time they found a bottle of milk outside their apartment and Indiana immediately got suspicious, saying something didn't feel right? She wouldn't let iridessa or Nathaniel leave until they figured out that the milk was actually meant for their neighbors, delivered to the wrong address.

"You always say that," Iridesssa replied as she headed to her room to shower.

"And I'm always right," Indiana shot back, swiveling her chair to face iridessa.

"Nah, you're never right," Nathaniel chuckled, but his laughter quickly turned into a groan as Indiana kicked his shin.

"But this time, I have a strange feeling about that ring," she expressed, her eyes filled with unease as Iridesssa met her gaze.

"Don't worry, I'll handle it with caution," she reassured her, attempting to alleviate her worries. However, she knew that there was nothing off about the ring aside from its unusual red and glowing color.

"Just promise me you won't wear it for now," Indiana pleaded, stuffing a mazzarello stick into her mouth and letting out a groan.

"Yeah, yeah, and where on earth did you find a mazzarello stick?" Iridessa chuckled, finding Indiana's unique way of eating it quite amusing. Indiana was the first person she had ever encountered who was so obsessed with mazzarello.

Hastily, Iridesssa made her way to the room, shedding her nightwear and tying her hair up in a messy bun. She hurried into the bathroom, grabbing her brush and swiftly brushing her teeth once again. She didn't want her breath to smell like onions when meeting with her client.

As the warm water from the shower cascaded down her body, memories of yesterday flashed through her mind. She hadn't anticipated receiving a ring, but she didn't regret it. There was just something about it that felt strangely familiar.

Then, as her hand roamed across her body, she felt her nipples harden and a wetness building between her legs. It had been months since she last had sex, and she craved it. However, she despised one-night stands. She rubbed her hand against her throbbing swollen clit, pleasuring herself. As she closed her eyes and continued stroking herself, a figure suddenly appeared in her mind. She gasped as she focused on the person before her. He was breathtakingly beautiful, unlike any of the handsome celebrities or hunks she had fantasized about in the shower. He was tall, with long black hair cascading down to his shoulders, and his eyes were filled with desire as he approached her, completely naked.

His strong and muscular physique left her breathless, and as she glanced downwards, she couldn't help but gasp. Iridessa intensified the stimulation on her swollen bud as she imagined him touching her instead, but it wasn't enough. She needed more. With a sense of urgency, she inserted two fingers inside herself, and a loud moan escaped her lips.

"Come here," the person commanded in a deep, seductive voice that sent shivers down her spine. In that moment, she reached the peak of pleasure, experiencing an intense climax. As she opened her eyes, she was startled to find Nathaniel and Indiana staring at her, mouths agape. Indiana burst into laughter, while Nathaniel blushed and hurriedly left the bathroom.

"What on earth were you two doing in here?" She exclaimed, abruptly turning off the shower and stepping out, hastily wrapping herself in a towel before leaving the bathroom. It wasn't exactly that much of a surprise, but she certainly wasn't expecting it either.

"We thought you were in trouble with all the screams we heard, but it turns out our dear friend here was screaming for a different reason," Indiana said, playfully smacking her behind, causing iridesssa's face to flush with embarrassment.

"I didn't realize I was being that loud, I was just...moaning," she muttered as she made her way to the closet to pick out an outfit.

"Oh no, sweetie, whoever you were fantasizing about must be really good. I think you've traumatized poor Nat," Indiana teased, walking out of the room.

As Indiana left, iridesssa let out a sigh of relief and let the towel drop, feeling a rush of embarrassment wash over her. Hastily, she scanned through her closet, searching for the perfect dress. Hee eyes landed on a stylish skirt and top combination that exuded confidence and sexiness, exactly what she wanted to portray today.

Slipping into the outfit, she admired how the skirt hugged her curves while still allowing for comfortable movement. The top had a chic yet casual vibe, with a flattering neckline that accentuated her collarbones. The fabric felt soft against her skin, and the color complemented her complexion beautifully.

Adjusting the waistband and smoothing out any wrinkles, Iridesssa couldn't help but smile at her reflection in the mirror. Despite her racing heart and lingering embarrassment, wearing this outfit made her feel ready to conquer the day ahead. With one final glance, she confidently stepped out the door, even though deep down, she didn't quite feel that way.

Leaving her apartment building, Iridesssa adjusted her bag on her shoulder and set off towards the bus stop. The lively streets of New York City were bustling with activity, and she couldn't help but soak in the vibrant energy that surrounded her. It felt like the very spirit of the city was flowing through her as she weaved through the busy sidewalks.

Her destination for the day was Melina's department store, located in the heart of the fashion capital. She was excited to dive into today's work although she secretly hoped Melissa won't be there.

Approaching the bus stop, Iridesssa checked the time on her phone and realized she had just enough minutes to catch the next bus. She joined the line, feeling the anticipation build with each passing moment.

When the bus finally arrived, she stepped on board and found a seat by the window. Her mind began to wander, already consumed by thoughts of the day ahead. Iridessa, the exceptional fashion assistant, was ready to conquer another day in the world of fashion, eager to make her mark on the lively streets of New York City but If only things were as straightforward as they appeared…
