Chapter 35

After long stressful hours of awkwardness and discussing what present Andreas should give Dionne, they finally came to a conclusion. They spent so much time that they neglected to have lunch. They immediately rushed to meet Queen Minori for tea, fearing being criticized for being late.

"Ah," Queen Minori looks up, acknowledging their presence. "Finally, you're here. Please, have a seat." She gestured for them to sit as she sipped her tea.

The couple looked at each other before taking the seat across from the queen. They could feel Minori's aura darkening with every second that passed. Unlike Andreas, Dionne could see Minori's energy and darkness with her very eyes. It's one of the many gifts she possessed as a priestess.

"Did we keep you waiting, mother?" Andreas asked as he looked at his pocket watch.

Minori shook her head in response, saying, "No, I am simply early. Do help yourselves to some tea and snacks."
