23 The Vow

"What matters most is now, it is you and I, our love and affection towards each other, that's all that matters. What happened in the past remains in the past.. For what good reason would you want to open up healed wounds? I made peace with it. I love you"

I pressed my lips, staring at him. I lifted both the heels of my feet, stood on my toes. My hands wrapped around his neck. I then kissed him slowly. The love and affection this man gave me was priceless. I held from him stared right into his eye's.

"What are you thinking?" He asked rubbing my cheek. "What's in your mind, talk to me"

"I'm astonished by the love that you have for me, there's no doubt about the love you have for me, I promise to love you more... "

Before I could finish my line he said "What makes you say that?"

"Mercy said, the first person who was in your heart and mind was me all the time, when you woke up, You screamed for my name" I said all this rubbing on his cheeks, straight down to his chest. His gaze never drifted from me.

"You are my love, my life, my heart and soul, why wouldn't you be the one I could call out, You are the reason I try my best to be the best man I could ever be... "

His words melted inside my heart. I swayed my head with my lips pressed, I bit the corner of my lip, without noticing, I placed my pointing finger on his lip.

"Shh," I said "Kiss me"

We kissed we were ready to taste the Forbidden fruit, I was half dressed. His pants already on the floor. He gaze deeply into my eyes. As we kissed I was ready for him to enter me. He decided to take a rest upon my body. My eyes were shut, afraid of the step that we were about to take. I heard him say. "It's only a matter of a couple of days to our wedding day" he kissed me, I opened my eye's looking at him, it was only him and I in the studio, we could have let our bodies intertwined together. If it could have been Vusi he wouldn't have let this moment slip. I knew it for sure that he respected me and my body. He actually wanted my first time to be special on a beautiful place.

"I'm sorry I disappointed you" he said "please forgive me" I reached out to him with both my hands and hugged him tight "I understand that you love and respect me, I'll wait, just that I can't wait to lose myself to you, I love you so much, and this is my priced possession and I want only you to have it"

The month of our wedding day came and so is the date. Everything was in order even though everything was changed during last minute, for we had not even set a date for our wedding.

We entered the church we brides, but not at the same time, Mercy was first to enter and I was second. We used different melodies to walk down the aisle. Our future husbands waiting patiently for us at the altar. As I was standing behind Mercy waiting for her to reach the altar I could see Trevor smiling in joy. Oh my J.R whom I thought had a heart of Lion seemed to have a heart of an ant. As I walked slowly towards him, I could see tears flowing down his cheeks. That was something I never thought I could from him. I couldn't help it too, I let them flow.
