Taking Care

The Eldest prince woke up late and naturally arrived late. When he saw that the table had already been set and Xie Ning and Princess Yuyao were already seated, he paused for a moment and slowly walked over with an uneasy expression on his small face.

"You came just in time." Xie Ning knew that the child was uncomfortable. Even she felt uneasy being together with unfamiliar people, let alone the eldest prince. "Come, sit on my left side. Can you eat on your own? Do you want me to call the Chief Palace Attendant over?"

The Eldest prince shook his head. "No need."

He was served by someone else during dinner last night, but Xie Ning thought that even if the eldest prince was weak, he still had the strength to hold chopsticks and a spoon. Since he said he could manage on his own, there was no need to call someone to serve him.

Princess Yuyao's situation was different. She was younger than the Eldest prince and was currently ill, so she needed someone to take care of her.
