The judgement

The three days was soon over and I was summoned to the palace. Every one waited patiently for the judgement. The scholars after their investigations found out that there was actually a prophecy about my arrival. I don't know if that was true or just a mere coincidence, but the prophesies says that a queen would appear from the east and would become empress to rule the land.

The prophecy was like a riddle it meant two different thing,first it was that it was a blessing, and second it was a curse.

No one could understand this.The council gave a degree that I was a goddess and I should be treated as one they also made suggestions that I could become a member of the council if I wanted. I was to be placed under the care of the third queen's palace. The prime minister's daughter was to be my enoch, she was to teach me the ways of mystic land and ensure that i was ok. What a twist I was excited about all this i didn't even think of the repercussions .

It was now 2weeks perhaps since I found my self in mystic land. What had happened to the ship, were they safe.I didn't know if anyone back home was still searching for me. But I knew there was no way I could get out of this strange land.

I had tried every possible means I could find to live this strange land,it was no of use.

"It is impossible." lian said one day when i had asked her if I could travel through the sea. I asked her if anyone has ever traveled through the sea before or ever left mystic land .

"The only way to leave mystic land is by death." That was her reply.

"Death."I repeated.

That was ridiculous, I began to wonder if I had went back in time or something,or maybe I was already dead. I resolved to figure out everything about this land and plot my escape.

I could eat,sleep,and breathe here.

When I first arrived at mystic land I had snuck back to the sea, so I could see if there was any way to get back. It was no use I couldn't get any further because of fear of the sea creatures.

Lian has warned me about the sea creatures and when I asked her what was behind the sea she couldn't tell me.she said she didn't know but I had a feeling that it was a lie. According to lian no one was allowed to venture close to the sea side. I want to tell her that the crown prince was there but I kept my mouth shut.

It was no rumors that the people of this strange land believed that I fell from the sky, if they knew that I came through the sea I was sure they would behead me.

I soon gave up on trying to escape, no one was going to miss me back home anyways. My parents were divorced and my best friend was moving to college, I could as well get use to staying here forever.

It wasn't so bad here in mystic land, the sun never rise and the moon remains shining. I was gradually adapting to life here.

The late emperor had six wife, and 120concubines.

The lands were divided into 7clans, each having a king.

Out here the rules where different from everything I had ever known or heard.Out here in mystic land a maiden must remain a virgin till she gets married, and until she was married she must wear white. She mustn't put on color of any kind. Her clothes and accessories but remain white and sparkling.

If she is to be married then she could put color and mustn't be seen around with a male only till after her ceremony is completed. If she is to marry today the married women gather around her to put color powder on her till no sign of white is left. She takes the last bath with the other virgin girls and they have a party like a cross over before she is to be married. After which she lives her friends behind never to bath or party with them again. She becomes serious and devoted to her husband with out any obstructions or she would be dipped in mud and locked up till her husband forgives her.

This mystic land had some magical aura about it for not only had I gotten used to the cold, I had started seeing clearly without my huge spectacles.

The temperature in mystic land was extremely cold. When i first arrived,I caught ammonia severely that I thought I would die. I soon got used to wearing loose clothes like the others. I wasn't yet allowed to wear white or bath with the other maidans, I had to wait till I was initiated.
