When the coldness of the wet floor penetrated her skin, Li Juan woke up with a dizzy head. 

Squinting her eyes to the glaring light, she made a vague effort to move, but for some reasons, her movements were restricted as if her body has become stiff due to poor blood circulation.

She is not sure how long it has been since she was knocked out of consciousness.

Li Juan continuously tried to push open her heavy eyelids and stay awake. However, the throbbing pain and fatigue made her memories turn into a fuzzy mess.

She tried very hard to recall everything and suddenly remembered the scene where she stood at Aunt Mei Rong's living room before someone covered her nose and mouth with a fancy smelling cloth.

All of sudden, cold water was poured over her head, washing away the grogginess from her mind.
