Chapter 7: Xue Ni knew all the other players

Xue Ni: I guess I can see the rankings now again. 

Ranking

1. Mei Lin (the maid). She climbed into the ranks through her beauty.

2. Xue Ni-the empress favors her family. 

3. Jia Ying-the second most powerful royal family. 

4. Felicia

5. Jie Ling

Xue Ni(widens eyes): What is this list? Wait, why is it only their names listed in the ranks?

They are your only competitors.

Xue Ni: Ohh...they are the other mcs here. What is this, man. I can't believe Jie Ling is even on the list, and I need to beat Mei Lin into number one again. But the prince just stays with Mei Lin in his room every night, we can't even spend the night with him to make us have a male heir too. He doesn't seem to favor other girls too, I better watch out over these other girls, especially Jia Ying. 

Xue Ni went to Jie Ling's room.

Xue Ni: Hey, Jie Ling.

Jie Ling: Hi, first consort. 

Xue Ni: I know what you're planning.

Jie Ling: What?

Xue Ni: You plan to seduce Liu Hua and become the Queen, don't you?

Jie Ling: (horror) What? No? I love the second prince.

Xue Ni: Swear? If I see you try to go the prince, I'm going to kill you.

Jie Ling: I swear, Xue Ni.

After Xue Ni left..

Jie Ling: I know consorts usually threaten each other, but why in the world would Xue Ni think I'm going to get closer to the first prince?

At Felicia's room

Jie Ling told her what happened.

Felicia: That is so ridiculous, lol. if Xue Ni wants to threaten anyone, it should be me, or the other princesses.

Jia Ying: She didn't come to me, I was at my room the whole day.

Jia Ying is getting closer to the 3rd Prince everyday, she started to ignore the mission.

Jia Ying: I like the third prince, why do I have to be near the first prince? The third prince is a kind guy and everything I ever dream of. 

Xue Ni observes everything with her eyes, and she thought of a plan to make Jia Ying fall down.

Xue Ni: Your Highness, Jia Ying seems to be having affair with your brother, the 3rd prince.

Felicia: Hush. While Jia Ying and 3rd Prince are flirting and may be in love with each other, but they haven't made any moves that means an affair.

Xue Ni(smirks): We'll see.

Prince: I'll be visiting them tomorrow morning.

The next morning

Prince went in to third prince's room.

Prince: What are you two doing?

The 3rd prince and Jia Ying were naked in a bed together. They scrambled to cover up the sheets.

Jia Ying: Your Highness, I can explain!

Prince: Explain what? You are cheating with him!

3rd Prince: I was drugged, my lord.

Prince: So, it's not by consent?

Jia Ying: No, it was both our consent.

3rd Prince: It was a love drug. But she didn't stop me.

Prince: Well, you can have her 3rd brother.

Jia Ying: No, I'll stay with you, your highness.

Prince: That won't happen, either you marry him or be sent to the cold palace( a prison for nobles that fell out of favor, it's a palace but there are no one there except for the consort).

Jia Ying: (sigh) I guess I fail either way, I'll just stay with 3rd brother. 

Okay, I love third prince. I'll stay with him.

They got married the next day at the palace. A few people came.
