"Boss, we have Intel on the whereabout of Dominic's remaining men."Lucas mumbled.
"Those bastards. Make sure you take them down and make them talk, Who's behind all the mess going on." Mr. Matteo muttering furiously, looking straight fixed his gaze on Lucas.
The night air was overwhelming with tension as Lucas, Brook, Kally and Jim moved silently through the dark streets. The city was a puzzle of shadows, a perfect hunting ground for what they were about to do.
Matteo had given the order, and now it was time to Carry it out. Eliminating Dominic's remaining crew is now the target.
Lucas's face hidden beneath the cover of his black Cap, led the group. His eyes scanned the area, every alley, every dark corner.
He had memorized the layout of the streets, every potential escape route, every hidden entrance. Behind him is Kally, Brook and Jim moving like ghosts, their weapons hidden but ready.
"This is it, boys. Time to take out the trash. You ready?" Lucas mumbled staring at their faces.
Even though Brook doesn't like the fact that Lucas is leading, he sure knows this isn't the time for any child's play.
"I've been ready from the beginning. Dominic's men won't know what hit them from behind." Jim echoed, ever ready to spill blood.
Brook says quietly but focused, adjusting his knife. In his holster. "Just remember, they have been laying low. They will fight dirty. We don't let our guard down.
Lucas nodded, his jaw tight as they approached their first target. A deteriorated warehouse on the outskirts of town. It's one of the few places Dominic's men still operates, their stronghold after Dominic's fall. But tonight, it's about to become their tomb.
"We take them by surprise. No noise, no mistakes. We're in and out before anyone knows what happened here." Lucas quietly says, gesturing to the others.
There moved in formation, their steps silent against the cracked pavement. Lucas signaled for Brook and Kally to flank the building, while Jim stayed close by his side. The plan was simple. Strike fast get information and leave no survivors.
As they reached the back entrance, Lucas raised his hand, signaling for them to stop. He could here voices inside. Dominic's men unaware of the storm about to descend on them. He leaned closer to door listening carefully.
"You think Santoro's gonna protect us? We should have left the city the moment Dominic went down. Matteo's coming for us you know that." One of the voices flawed from inside but audible.
Another voice grumbling. "Shut up. We lay low and wait for Santoro's orders. Matteo's too busy with his own mess to come after us."
Lucas's lips curled into a smirk. He thought to himself. 'How wrong they are.'
With a swift motion, he kicked the door in, the sound of splintering wood echoing through the warehouse. Before the men inside could react, Lucas and Jim rushed in, their guns raised. The two thugs near the table barely had time to reach for their weapons before they were gunned down.
"Not fast enough." Kally from the entrance, firing at another man as he tried to run.
The man crumpled to the ground, his body hitting the floor. Brook followed, his gun aimed at the remaining thug who was stumbling at the stack of crates, trying to escape. "Got you."
The final shot echoed through the warehouse, and then there was silence. Lucas scanned the room, his eyes calculating as he stepped over the bodies. His mind was focused, detached from the bloodshed around him.
"Four down. That's half of Dominic's remaining crew. We have two more locations to hit tonight" Lucas speaking to the team.
