Aeon's POV

I walk up only to see myself inside an unfamiliar room filled with familiar faces.

"She's awake" ani ng isang tinig sa tabi ko. I was about to sit up when my head starts to pound painfully. That's when everything rushes through my brain like a goddamn kaleidoscope.

"Cannary" banggit ko sa pangalan niya. I look around to find T when I saw him entering the room.

"Aeon" tawag niya.

"T" banggit ko sa pangalan niya saka ako bumangon sa pagkakahiga upang malapitan ko siya.

"Hey" saway ni Dark.

"Where's Cannary? Where's my daughter?" I asked him while grabbing into his collar. Tinignan niya ako sandali bago sumagot.

"Didn't you remember what happened almost four years ago?" nagtatakang tanong ni T sa akin. That's when the incident 3 years ago came into my mind.

"No" napasalampak ako sa sahig ng maalala ko ang pagkamatay ng aking anak. Isa isang naglaglagan ang mga luha sa mga mata ko. The only person whom I treasure the most is now gone.

"Aeon" ani T.

"Don't call me that" sabi ko sakanya. I don't want to be called by that fake name. It's because of that name, my daughter is now gone.

"Mind explaining what's happening? Because no one can catch up with your conversation" sabat ng isa sa mga kaibigan ni Trasher and when I thought about his name. I search for him inside the room. I dash in his direction then in a blink of an eye. I grabbed his neck and slammed him into the wall then I bite his neck.

"Edessa" tawag ni T sa pangalan ko. As I taste Trashers blood. I saw everything.

"What the hell" ani Colton. They are ready to pounce at me when I let Trasher go.

"It's not you" sabi ko sakanya. He's not the one who killed Cannary.

"Then who the hell killed my daughter? " rage course through the entirety of my being. I snapped in Trashers direction when I think about his twin.

"Where is Sorrel?" tanong ko sakanya.

"I don't know" maikling sagot niya. I have to find him. Sandaling umikot ang paningin ko dahilan ng pagkawala ng balanse ng katawan ko. Mabuti nalang ay may nakasalo sa akin.

"You've been doing that lately" ani Trasher.

"Thank you" ani ko ng maihiga niya ako sa kama. My energy was drained just by collecting my memories.

"Okay, so anyone? What's really happening here?" tanong nanaman ni Colton.

"Fiery is not my twin, she's my daughter" sagot ko sakanila.

"What?" tanong ng magkakaibigan maliban kay Tsaher.

"Did you know this?" tanong ni Arius kay T. Now I can remember all of them. These are the people whom I considered to be my friends when I first came here.

"Yes, but I've been wondering" sagot ni T sakanya saka siya bumaling ng tingin sa akin.

"Why did you believe that Cannary is your twin?" tanong niya. I stared at the ceiling for a bit before answering.

"My memories where manipulated when you found me" tanging sagot ko sakanya. Hindi na ako nagsalita pa pagkatapos non. Alam kong marami silang gustong tanungin sa akin ngunit hindi ko alam kung handa na ba akong sabihin sakanila ang mga ito.

"Where's ViennaThalia?" tanong ko ng mapansin kong wala siya sa kwarto.

"She's downstairs" sagot ni Tam. What the hell is she doing there?

"Get her" utos ko kay T na agad naman niyang sinunod.

"Okay, can we continue your story?" ani nanaman ni Colton. He's really eager to know everything. Napansin kong kanina pa tahimik si Dark.

"Are you okay?" tanong ko sakanya. Tinitigan muna niya ako sa mata ng mabuti bago sumagot.

"You're her, aren't you?" I can't quite understand what she's talking about so I creased my forehead.

"You're the one who entered this school 3 years ago" aniya. Napaiwas ako ng tingin sakanya. She knows.

"Wait, I don't understand" ani Adrion.

"Ako ang nakasama niyo ng mga panahong iyon" sagot ko sakanila. Their reaction is of that curiosity.

"I just used the alternate name of my daughter back then" dagdag ko pa.

"That's the reason why I am seeing her in you because it's really you" ani Trasher. Hindi ko magawang tumingin sa mga mata niya. I lied to him.

"Why are you here in the first place?" biglang tanong ni Dark.

"3 years ago, when T found me. I was there to investigate the death of my servants" kwento ko sakanila.

"Why are you investigating the death of mere servants?" I snapped at Dark.

"They are not mere servants. They are the ones who took me in. They are like my parents. Their lineage swore loyalty to my family. So after my parents put into a perpetual slumber they took me in and hid my identity but they were killed for hiding me. Then after that, they put me into an eternal sleep" sagot ko sakanila.

"You were into an eternal sleep?" tanong ni Dark. Lahat sila ay nalilito. I know. Because they don't know who I am.

"I was forced into an eternal sleep" pagtatama ko sakanila.

"Why are you forced into an eternal sleep anyway?" nakakunot noong tanong ni Colton. Eternal sleep is the equivalent of death.

"If you're forced into death then how did you come back? No one can come back from eternal sleep" tanong naman ni Dark.

"My whole existence is forbidden" simpleng sagot ko.

"Who exactly are you?" nagtatakang tanong ni Dark.

"Cordea Edessa Mi Raavi" banggit ko sa tunay kong pangalan. I have been hiding my real identity for a long time.

"You're from the Raavi Ancestry?" gulat na tanong nila. Hindi ko sila sinagot.

"I heard that the Raavi Ancestry was the most powerful lineage not only among vampires but among the whole island not until someone from the family betrayed their clan" ani Trasher. Mukhang may alam siya sa kasaysayan ng pamilya namin ngunit hindi lahat ng alam ng isang tao ay ang siyang katotohanan.

"Is that the notion that affiliates our Ancestry in the history?" hindi ko maiwasang matawa sa sinabi niya.

"What do you mean?" kunot noong tanong ni Trasher.

"Then why are you hiding through that name?" Dark asked.

"It's to hide my identity" I answered.

"Why were you forced into an eternal sleep anyway?" tanong nanaman ni Colton. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako. Hindi sila titigil hanggat hindi nila nalalaman ang totoong dahilan.

"And don't give me that 'my whole existence is forbidden' crap" dagdag pa niya.

"I'm a tribid" simpleng sagot ko. Nanlaki ang mga mata nila sa sinabi ko.

"You're a what?" tanong naman ni Arius. Halos hindi sila makapaniwala sa sinabi ko.

"I'm a tribrid. A pureblood vampire, a wolf bourne, and a witch" sagot ko.

"That's the reason why your existence is taboo. Because no such thing should exist. You're that family who betrayed the clan" ani Trasher. Clever.

"I don't really understand why people are saying that my family betrayed the lineage. No such law exists" sagot ko sakanila.

"How do you know?" nagtatakang tanong ni Dark.

"Because I didn't make such law" napanganga si Dark sa sinabi ko ng mapagtanto niya kung sino ako.

"You're the head of the ancestry" aniya. Hindi ako nagsalita dahilan ng pagkabalot namin ng katahimikan.

"If you're the head of the clan then why did they forced you into an eternal sleep?" si Clay ang bumasag sa katahimikang namayani sa amin. Hindi ako nakasagot sa tanong niya dahil hindi ko rin alam kung anong nangyari. Things aren't right from the start. From my slumber, from the one who woke me to the death of my daughter.

"You're that girl from the book" ani Adrion. Hindi na ako nag abalang sumagot pa dahil alam naman na nila ang sagot sa tanong nila.

"How many years were you asleep?" tanong ni Trasher.

"I was put into a perpetual slumber for 500 years" sagot ko.

"How old are you anyway?" tanong ni Dark.

"I'm 849 years old" sagot ko sakanya.

"Dude you're in love with an old woman" natatawang ani ni Colton habang tinatapik sa balikat si Trasher. In love? Hindi sinagot ni Trasher ang kanyang kaibigan bagkus ay tiningnan niya lang ako ng matiim. Nag iwas ako ng tingin dahil sa mga tingin niyang iyon.

"Where the hell is T and ViennaThalia?" pag iiba ko nalang ng usapan.

"I'm gonna go and find them" prisinta ni Clay saka siya lumabas ng kwarto.

"I remember you telling me and Thalia that there's a world out there" ani Dark.

"Yes, because there was once a human in here"

"Your lover? Your daughter's father?" tanong ni Dark.

"No. A student. Someone brought her here" Hisoki Kaser Trancy. The first human who enter here, the owner of that journal. Now I remember.

"What? A human was here?" nagtatakang tanong ni Arius. I was about to answer him yes when the door flew open.

"Guys, we have a problem" ani Clay na kadarating.

"The school is in chaos. There are shifters outside" bungad ni Clay.

"What? How did they step inside?" tanong ni Trasher. Hindi sumagot si Clay.

"The whole school was taken over by them" dagdag pa ni Clay.

"Where's my brother?" tanong ni Trasher kay Clay.

"He's been held hostage" sagot ni Clay. Bumangon ako sa pagkakahiga.

"Where the hell are you going?" tanong ni Trasher.

"T and Thalia is there. Even some of the higher-ups " sagot ko sakanila.

"How do you know?" tanong ni Dark.

"I can feel them" maikling sagot ko saka ako naglakad palabas ng kwarto. Sinunod nila ako. There's no one guarding upstairs so we easily made our way downstairs. But when we descended we saw no shifters.

"These are not shifters. Their humans" ani ko. What are they doing here?

"But how?" tanong ni Dark sa tabi ko.
