Chapter 27. T

Aeon's POV

"Thank God, you're safe. I'm so sorry" sabi ko sakanya. Narinig ko siyang bahagyang tumawa saka niya ako niyakap at bahagyang hinimas ang ulo ko.

"I'm back" bulong niya. Humiwalay ako sa pagkakayakap sakanya ng marinig ko ang pag ubo ng aming propesor senyales ng pagkuha niya ng aming atensyon.

"Sorry" hinging paumanhin ni T sa aming propesor.

"Since you two knew each other, I think there's no problem with who's going to guide him around the school" ani ng propesor.

"There's no problem with that professor" sagot ko sakanya.

"Thank you Ms. Black. Mr. Mavrielle you can sit on the back" pagpapasalamat niya sa akin saka utos niya kay T. Sinunod naman ni T ang utos niya. Naglakad siya papunta sa upuan niya at ako naman ay umupo sa sarili kong upuan.

"Is he your friend? The one who's been kidnapped?" bulong ni Dark na nasa likuran ko.

"Yeah" simpleng sagot ko.

"So that settles it then" ani ng propesor saka niya sinimulan ang klase. Sa buong oras ng klase ay naramdaman kong may mga matang nakatingin sa akin at sakto namang nasulyapan ko si Trasher na nakatingin sa akin. I raised my eyebrow at him with a what-the-hell-are-you-staring-at look ngunit kunot noo lang ang sinagot niya sa akin. I know what he's curious about. He's curious how I know T, well, we're curious about the same thing. I would like to ask him the same question. How the hell did he also know T? And seems like T also knows him. T never hides things from me but what's the meaning of this? There's only one way to find out. I need to talk to him privately and what the hell is he doing here in the first place?

The class went by not so smoothly. I've been finding time to talk to T privately but unfortunately, he's been held by the girls in my classroom so it's really hard for me to find the time.

"T" tawag ko sa atensyon niya saka ko siya hinila palayo sa mga babaeng kulang nalang ay hubaran siya sa kanilang mga paningin.

"Wait, A. Where are we going?" tanong niya sakin habang hinihila ko siya papunta sa likod ng building ng department namin.

"I need to talk to you" sabi ko sakanya. Ng makarating kami sa likod ng building ay binitawan ko na siya.

"A, I'm sorry. I lost it" bigla niyang sabi. Nang tingnan ko siya ay halos manlumo ako. He looks horrified.

"What happened?" tanong ko sakanya. Natahimik siya ng ilang sandali bago sumagot.

"I'm on my way home when a group of shapeshifters ambush me and take me to an abandoned building. They tortured me for days and then after that, I just lost it. I killed them all" nanlulumong sabi niya. T can't control what's inside him. Hindi ko napigilan ang sarili kong yakapin siya.

"I'm so sorry. If only I found you earlier and saved you, you wouldn't have to go through all of that" sabi ko sakanya. "Do you have any idea who took you?" tanong ko sakanya ng pinakawalan ko siya sa pagkakayakap ko.

"No, but they are groups of shapeshifters" sagot niya. Shapeshifters?

"What are they doing around the school's domain?" nagtatakang tanong ko.

"I don't know" sagot niya. "But I heard a guy that they have someone with them which is inside the school" dagdag pa niya.

"I think I have an idea about who that someone is" sagot ko sakanya. It's that girl, Holly. "Wait, is that why you're here?" tanong ko sakanya ng mapagtanto ko ang dahilan kung bakit siya pumasok sa eskwelahan.

"Yes, because you might be in danger here" aniya.

"I'm fine T. I can handle myself" sagot ko sakanya. Worrying about me shouldn't be his concern right now.

"You have to take care of yourself, they can follow you here. Those creatures have already entered the school so it's not impossible for others as well" sabi ko sakanya. Sasagot na sana si T nang biglang may nagsalita hindi kalayuan sa amin.

"So this is where the both of you are" napalingon kaming dalawa ni T sa nagsalita. It's Trasher. I don't know if this is a good thing or not. I want to hide the truth that T and I are connected in some ways but I also want to know how do they know each other.

"T" ani T kay Trasher.

"Tam" banggit naman ni Trasher sa pangalan ni T.

"How did you know her?" tanong ni Trasher kay T.

"I was about to ask the same question to you Trasher. Why do you know him?" tanong ko sakanya. Marami bagay ang gusto kong itanong kay T at isa na roon ang dahilan kung bakit kilala nila ang isa't isa ngunit makapaghihintay ang bagay na iyon. Ang gusto kong tanungin kay T ay kung anong nangyayari sa akin nitong mga nakaraang buwan at kung bakit wala akong maalala sa mga taong lumipas mula ng ako ay magising. Palaisipan parin sa akin ang lahat ng ito. I don't even know why my sister was here in the first place.

"I've known him even before your sister came here" nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa sinabi niya. He knows?

"Surprised, aren't you?" nakataas kilay niyang tanong.

"You. How? Since when did you-" hindi ko natapos ang sasabihin ko dahil bigla siyang nagsalita.

"Know that you're her twin?" pagtatapos niya sa sasabihin ko. "Since the day I saw you" dagdag niya.

Ire's POV

"Know that you're her twin?" pagtatapos ko sa sinasabi niya. "Since the day I saw you" dagdag ko pa. But there's something odd about her but I won't say that to her. I need to ask Tam about her.

"Why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you confront me?" sunod sunod na tanong niya. I stare at her intently instead of answering her. I'm looking for something that reminds me of her.

"You're here for revenge yet you don't even know everything" sabi ko nalang sakanya. I saw her tighten her jaw. She's pissed.

"Don't talk to me like you know everything" aniya.

"Oh, I know every detail about your sister's death" sagot ko sakanya. "Not everything you see is real. Sometimes what you see can blind and mislead you from the truth" dagdag ko pa bago ko sila tinalikuran ngunit

"I hate to ruin your joyous reunion but Tam, I need to talk to you about some important matters so Aeon if you don't mind, can I borrow him for a while?" turan ko bago ako tuluyang naglakad palayo. I need to ask him about things that concerned her and things that are not.

"Where the hell have you been?"hindi na ako nagulat ng bigla nalang sumulpot ang mga kaibigan ko sa kung saan.

"Nowhere" maikling sagot ko sa tanong ni Adrion. "Let's go" ani ko nalang para hindi na sila magtanong pa. Nagsimula na akong maglakad papunta sa cafeteria na sinundan naman nila. Nang makarating kami sa cafeteria ay umorder na kami ng pagkain saka umupo sa upuan na nakalaan para sa amin.

"Why do you think that girl knows about Tam? And Tam seems to know her?" tanong ni Adrion.

"That's why we need to talk to him and it's been a while since we talk to him" ani naman ni Colton. Nakikinig lang ako sa pinag uusapan nila habang kumakain.

"Do you think that's what he's been up to lately? Flirting with Aeon?" hindi ko sinasadyang mabitawan ang hawak kong kutsara at tinidor dahil sa sinabi ni Colton dahilan ng pagtinginan nilang lahat sa akin. I cleared my throat and glance away at their stares before talking.

"Tam is not the kind of guy who flirts with someone and do you think that Aeon is also the type of girl who flirts with anyone?" komento ko.

"Yeah right. That girl hates man in general. Kulang na nga lang ata isumpa ang lahi ni Adan" natatawang komento naman ni Adrion.

"Right, and your charms didn't affect her at all" ani naman ni Arius. "Maybe, your charm is fading" dagdag pa nito.

"Fading my ass. My charms never fade. Hindi lang siguro talaga gumagana sakanya. Bato ata ang puso nun eh" sagot naman ni Adrion.

"But it seems like our Ire's charms here is working on her" dagdag ni Adrion saka pa ako inakbayan. Tinanggal ko ang pagkakaakbay niya sa akin saka ako sumagot.

"I'm not even charming her," I said.

"Or maybe your just drawn to her because she looks like her" natahimik kaming lahat sa sinabi ni Clay.

"Do you still believe that she's Fiery?" tanong pa niya. Napatingin silang lahat sa akin. Naghihintay ng sagot.

"I don't know what to believe anymore. Everything about her screams Fiery" naguguluhang sagot ko.

"So you do believe that she's her?" tanong naman ni Arius.

"Fiery is dead. We saw her died in front of our eyes that night" naguguluhan ring ani Colton.

"Then who the hell is that girl who's wearing her face?" tanong rin ni Adrion. Walang sumagot sa tanong niya dahil walang nakakaalam ng katotohanan. I didn't tell them yet about who she really is.

"We need to talk to Tam and ask him about that girl" ani Clay pagkaraan ng mahabang katahimikan.

"Do you think he'll tell us about her? They seemed close enough not to" tanong naman ni Arius.

"He will besides Tam doesn't know about Fiery" sagot ko.

"But what do you think is that girl's connection with Fiery? She knows a lot about her. She even moves and talks like her. That's not a coincidence" Clay has a point in what he said.

"Actually, we know little about Fiery in the first place. She's a phantom to us all" sabi ko sakanilang lahat. We didn't even know who she really was.
