Chapter 2 Frozen Wasteland

When I opened my eyes again, all I saw was a frozen wasteland with large sapphire-blue rivers flowing around me and black spiers piercing the clouds above me.

"Yes…I guess it's better than where I was." Although an arctic wasteland is gonna be a hard place to survive.

Without answering, a digital-like grid appeared in front of me with an arrow pointing south and large X's where there were pitfalls that I would definitely have fallen into.

A few minutes of walking later I was standing in front of a large pool of steaming water, without even thinking, I stripped out of my tattered and burnt clothing and stepped into the water.

"Ohhhh yeaaah, this is good. Hey System, what is the water temperature right now cause this is fucking awesome?" I asked/moaned out.

"Ohh…that's nic. Wait what?! How the fuck am I not burning/freezing?!" I screamed out as I jumped back into the snowbank.

I had to reread the text floating in front of me twice before I accepted that I was a new race. The fact that I had fluffy black ears and bigger boobs than I used to also helped to prove that fact.

"Um…System, if I'm a vampire does that mean I can only eat blood or can I eat other food as well? Also is there a way I can get a visual 3D model representation of what I look like?" I asked while still groping my new and in my opinion, improved bouncy chest.

As the System said that a full-scale model of me appeared.

"Gasp.." My skin and hair were whiter than the snow around me and my eyes were like bright crimson suns. The ears on top of my head twitched as I heard something skittering across the frozen tundra, glancing to my left I saw a small white lemming scuttling around the snow. I gasped again when I noted that the small creature was three miles away.

Turning back towards the hot spring, I gently sat back down in the steaming water. Letting all of today's craziness flow away.

"Ok System, open up the rest of the chests and give me my two SSS-ranked skills." I breathed out while gazing up at the moon…scratch that, moons that were starting to rise.

The grin wouldn't leave my face as I read that last message. I wasn't conceited enough to think that I would be the 1st person to reach a higher level, after all, six billion other people were transported to this world with me. Still, in my opinion, it was quite an achievement to be the 2nd person out of 6,000,000,000 people to do it.
