35 Too much workload

Since Solo was here, David stopped with the judgment for leftover prisoner of today batch, he then sent the scribes in this temporary office out and informed the guard not to allow anyone to come near the place.

"As we already predict, some nobles could not endure watching their relatives or friends doom and secretly sent men to notify those magicians. What shall we do with them?"

"The northern people did not fully submit to me, they swear allegiance was a method to avoid destruction."

The most overall area in the northern region was a steppe plateau just like Alpine-steppe if move further to the north it would become something like Tibetan Plateau with people inhabitant became more scare. There also hill area where human lived in and the mountain range where the dwarves resided.

Although, dwarves did not like to interact with other race but the dwarves on the northern part of the continent lived in peace with human, with two great cities of Vati and Xila were independent cities, where the cities did not appoint anyone as a king but ran with a direct democracy by council of both races.

The two great cities showed that a symbiotic relationship between races was better but most people could not accept the idea, dwarves in the cities would show their finest skill while human help with other tasks, thus the two cities became very wealthy.

At first, David did not forcefully take the northern people by force, instead, he used diplomacy and trade as a weapon. If his enemy did not run to the north he would not mind to let them lived with the autonomous rule until he finished with other things.

However, his enemy ran to the north and incited the northern nobles to establish an alliance against a tyrant, the people of the north were proficient horseman since they lived in the steppe, the tactic of hit and run by these northern people always bothering their neighbor in the lower plain of central regions.

They put up a good resistance at first but in the end, they failed. There were many reasons for their failure; the unorderly line of command, the unparalleled power of their enemy, the dispute between their own leaders and the failure to gain support from dwarf races.

"We already punished those that joined in the northern alliance, but some who did not join was able to claim more land for themselves. Since we were busy with the situation at hand, we can only ignore them for a while. The remaining nobles of the north were not of bad quality, it should be good to keep them as long as they paid their tribute and followed my rule."

"Then, except those nobles of the northern region, I believe that we could finish them all without much resistance. Shall we begin now or wait until the siege at Akkee sect finish." Solo asked

"I want to hurry with this purge and move on to the next one as soon as possible but looking at this. I guess we need to wait for a bit." David answered while pointing to the pile of documents at his desk.

"I see, you are a hard worker as always. To fulfill the duty of your loyal servant, I will bring a lot more tomorrow. How about a hundred more, Milord?" Solo glanced at the place David pointing and teasing him, then left. "farewell your majesty."

"Fine, but if you bring me any unimportant one, I will put you on disciplinary because you are slacking." David, in a teasing manner, called from behind to Solo who was leaving.

David continued with the prisoners and his documents. After finished with his works, David looked at the time, with the workload he was not surprised that the sun already set.

"Should I lead the assault on Akkee sect by my self?" It seemed like he was pondering from the outside, in fact, he was talking with his two AI.

Iris was with him from the start and was the reason why he could use magic in the way that other magicians never did before. With his autofire mode, he could let iris calculating while he looked for the way to attack his opponent in close combat.

A simple yet very effective against most opponents, while almost all people could only either calculate force inside or unleash it outside in the 6 attributes, he could do both at the same time.

Another one, Anetroc was a gift he got later during his teenage year. A little bit on the quite type of AI but was nevertheless very useful. It won't support him on the real-time like Iris but would provide him with something similar to precognition, the simulation was not 100 percent correct but still proved productive in his choice of methods to use in each fight or situation. As long as he could provide sufficient data.

Yes, just data.

Anetroc simulation did not require information. Unlike information that already processed and organized, data was more easy to gain. Everything that passed into vision, hearing, taste, smell, and touch of David would become data for Anetroc to analyze and provide David with the most accurate simulation by the data it was received.

After that, it would be David own decision to make, the AI was only his helper, not the decision maker.

Since the simulation on large scale needed a lot of concentration and power he needed to put, David did not use Anetroc's simulation that much.

Most of the time a battle could be decided before the battle itself stared, it was not that the bravery or abilities of an individual were ignored, but it was not like the entire of battle would be changed by just an individual or a few men either. Even the greatest of general could not turn the outcome of the war by himself alone.
