Annoying prey.

Forbidden region.

Standing in a safe and far location from the Olive tree, were Liam and Maria, watching the Olive tree intensively, waiting for their prey.

"*Haa* I guess it would take forever for people to come towards this region," said Liam, in a dejected tone.

"You are always negative," said Maria, holding a bowl of soup in her hand.

After catching a lot of eatable animals and monsters, she decided to make different delicacies with soup being one of them.

'yup, still as psychopathic as always, I wonder what I got myself into' thought Liam, physically shaking his head.

"I can tell that you see me as a crazy bitch" Maria said, in a carefree tone, filling up her mouth with a lot of soup.

*Drip* with sweat running down his cheeks, he decided to shut his mouth.

'A wise man once said *never challenge a woman's word*' thought Liam, pretending to look for any person's heading in their direction.

"No need to be scared, I forgive you," she said, taking a short glance at Liam.

"I didn't do anything, why would I be scared?" said Liam in a rush.

"You are just like an open book, so easy to read," said Maria, continuing her meal.

'I guess am done for, she always uses that word; forgive when she wants to make me pay for any wrong doings' he thought, resigned to his fate.

"Since I've forgiven you, I want you to cook for me later

And it seems like our prey has already arrived" she said, getting up from her sitting position.

*Ooh* 'i guess I got lost in my thought for a moment, I think I should focus more' thought Liam, following Maria's eyes to their prey.

They looked like an alliance of different forces, with them dressed in different uniforms.

With their dress code and posture, they seemed to fall under the category of seasoned adventurers, numbering about thirty.

*phwwwwwwth* shocked Liam whistled almost loud enough for their prey to hear.

Glaring intensively at Liam, Maria looked towards her prey trying to confirm if they heard them.

"Sorry" whispered Liam holding his ears, ' I guess I just increased my punishment' he thought, looking dejected.

"Sorry for yourself," said Maria, immediately going back to watch their prey's every move.

Not wanting to test her patience, even more, he decided to watch quietly.

*Creak, creak, creak* with the sound of footsteps, a group of thirty individuals could be seen.

Walking toward the snow-like land with short footsteps, they all looked to be at least in the beginning stage of the low rank.

"Hey, see the tree over there boss," said one of the red-dressed individuals to a man.

The man looked to be in his forties, with a bushy beard, and a rough appearance.

"Ooh, it looks like a tree with good resources," said another individual in blue clothing.

With all the individuals in red turning to look at him with hatred and contempt written clearly on their facial expressions.

"You humans are really annoying, always looking for a way to fight," said a hooded figure, in a scornful tone.

"Don't cross your limit, remember you are the only one here" said the leader of the red-dressed group.

"Threatening me now ehh, guess you are forgetting that you need me for your plans," said the hooded figure, clearly mocking the red-dressed man.

Looking at the blue-dressed man, he didn't know what to reply to that remark, and since his other ally didn't comment he did not want to be boycotted.

Having a problem with only one side in a group of three is manageable but having a problem with two sides, is a no-go area.

'Fuck you, if I didn't have some issues with this bastard I would have shown you your place' thought the red-dressed man, gritting his teeth.

"What do you think, should we go for the tree," asked the blue-dressed man, acting like he didn't hear their previous squabble.

"From what I can tell, it seems to hold a lot of emotions and energy," said the hooded figure, inspecting every inch of the tree from the distance between them.

"ooh, this is interesting," said the blue-dressed man, rubbing his beard.

The group was comprised of three different factions, with one side dressed in blue, the second dressed in red, and the last and only person in this category dressed in black clothing, which covered his/her whole body.

From their composure, one could tell that the blue and red sides knew each other for a long time, while the black clothes person seemed to have just met them.

Looking at each other for a brief moment, they started walking towards the tree with short footsteps.

On reaching close to the tree, they stopped letting the hooded figure walk ahead, stopping a little bit far from the tree.

"It has sentiment," said the hooded figure, "really!" shouted everyone at the same time.

Sentiment plants were a rare commodity in the world of style, hunted for their essence which was very helpful to any cultivator.

Seeing one here in the region close to the boundary was not really shocking, the shocking fact is that they have not been attacked by it.

All beings which originated from the forbidden land have a very low IQ, with all those who escaped this rule being very special.

"If it has not attacked us from this distance, those that mean that it has a high IQ," asked the blue-dressed man, bringing everyone back from their imaginations.

"yes" replied the hooded figure in a solemn tone, with all of them being brought back from their excitement, they could understand their predicament now.

"If we gang up on it, we can just get its fruit and leave," said the red clothesman, drawing out his war axe.

"Don't be a fool, if it was so easy to defeat why didn't we see anything in the records?" said the hooded figure, sounding more sarcastic than inquiring.

With a vein bulging on his head, he decided to keep quiet, he knew nothing good would come out of their argument.

"What's your thought," asked the blue-clothed man, ignoring their little squabble as he did to the first.

Looking at him from this point, he had the demeanor of a peace-loving individual, only time can tell if it's true or not.

"The gains are much, I believe we have to take the chance if we want to get a lot of benefits," said the hooded figure looking at the tree.

"Prepare we'll be going for the fruits, we need to be at our best," said the hooded figure.

"And you think we'll just follow your orders" yelled the red clothes figure, not caring about their surroundings.

"Prepare men, we'll be moving out at her request," said the blue-clothed man, looking at him with shock, he didn't know what to say.

Though not friends, listening to this hooded person was not the reason for the alliance, they had other motives.

'Is he trying to double cross me' thought the red clothes figure, 'if that is his plan, I will make sure to destroy it' he thought, resolving himself for the near future.

"Prepare we'll be moving too," he said, moving further from the Olive tree.

"Those bastards, they have to argue over every little thing," said Maria in an agitated tone.

"Why can't they just take the fruit and leave," she said, aiming her bowl at the ground.

'Yup, she's really pissed, God of demons please help their souls' Liam bowed his head, giving a short prayer for their pitiful souls.

{Kind of looked back at my work again.

It's really messed up(grammatically), so I will be doing a lot of editing, so I can at least draw in more readers.

My current performance is really poor, so sorry to all my current readers, I will be spending a lot of time working on my previous chapters in the hope that I can draw in new readers.

Thanks for understanding}.
