Chapter 8 - Going To Plum Blossom Inn

It was mid-autumn, and the sky was filled with different shapes of clouds that hid the two suns, the clouds were moving forward in the sky, over everything, living and none living things.

The air that was floating about was very fresh, it gives everybody and everything that breathed it peace of mind.

The street that has different high and low buildings and whose floor was all tiled was filled up with people busy with their things at the moment.

Some were selling things, some were buying things, some were discussing, some were in moving carriages, some were shouting, and so on.

From time to time, different guards dressed in red clothes with breastplates and a helmet that was cut open at the front and has an engraving of a golden-winged tiger on its skull would be seen patrolling on their feet, keeping orders.

At this moment, two people that stood out from the crowds were currently strolling lazily in the open street, and some people were secretly pointing at them as they passed by, while muttering to themselves.

These two that were passing was a handsome man dressed in a pure white robe with a lazy and arrogant expression on his face, he looks like a typical playboy.

Following two steps behind was a maiden, dressed in green that accentuated her hourglass figure, and on her face was a white expressionless face mask that covered every inch of her face.

The two looked like immortals descending into the mortal world.

"What a handsome man?!" A maiden suddenly muttered quietly with stars shining in her eyes.

"Bah… look at you, crushing on the useless son of the Li clan," an old man suddenly retorted quietly, scared that he would invite unnecessary troubles to himself.

"What do you mean old man," the maiden asked curiously.

"Haven't you heard of the popularly known young master Li?"

"Wait, what- what you mean was, that handsome man was the popularly known useless young master Li?"

The maiden immediately looked at the elegant back of Li Yu pitifully, with all the infatuation in her eyes disappearing.

'Why would such a handsome man be useless?!' She thought unhappily.

Similar talks were currently going on within the crowd at the moment.

Those that do not know Li Yu's appearance would become infatuated, or filled with envy, then those that do would immediately tell them who the handsome man was, then the infatuation and envy would immediately disappear.

The arrogant smile on Li Yu's face had not changed at all since the beginning even though he had heard everything the crowd was discussing clearly, he and Little Liu continued their stroll

"Hun?! Isn't this the popularly known young master Li?" An exotic carriage suddenly stopped beside Li Yu, and from within, an arrogant voice sounded.

Li Yu couldn't help but look at the carriage curiously, waiting for the person that spoke to show his face.

And then, the curtain was opened.

It was a lean man with a lifted face, he was dressed in a flowery robe and held a fan that was colorfully painted in his hand. The young man was surrounded by air filled with arrogance.

"Oh… I had thought which son of a bastard it is that had dared to disturb my peaceful stroll, I never knew that it would be the great looking and handsome young master Huang."

"Pft…"

The crowd suddenly muffled the laughter that was about to burst out from their throat when they heard Li Yu's statement.

"Do- do you just call me a bastard?!" The face of the man addressed as young master Huang was suddenly painted in anger when he heard Li Yu's speech.

"Hun…." Li Yu suddenly had an unknowing look appeared on his face.

"When have I ever called you a bastard?"

"Hadn't you just called me that now? what you said was, ‹I had thought which son of a bastard had dared interrupted my peaceful stroll›" the young master Huang imitated Li Yu's speech in anger.

When Li Yu heard this, a knowing look immediately replaced the unknowing one on his face.

"Hai young master, why do you love pushing words into others' mouths like this? Amongst that sentence you repeated, where was it I mentioned that you were a son of a bastard? What I said was that I thought it was a bastard that disturbed my peace, then I realized that it was you, and not a bastard." Li Yu finished looking like someone that had been cheated.

"Oh… I think we were the ones that misunderstood young master Li," Someone in the crowd suddenly muttered.

"Yes, I also think so too, it seems it is young master Huang that called himself a bastard," another person said thoughtfully.

Young master Huang's face was instantly black when he heard the ridicule in the crowd's voice.

"You- you, how dare you play such a game on me?" Young master Huang questioned angrily, then as if he suddenly remembered something, a mocking smile quickly replaced his angered look.

"Hehehe, I would not argue with someone who might die anytime from now, okay?"

The young master uttered coldly, then clapped his hands for the coach to resume driving the carriage.

"Hmmm, interesting," Li Yu said thoughtfully.

He realized that more people seemed to be in this chess game than he already imagined.

"Young master, do you want me to go take care of that idiot for you?" Little Liu suddenly interrupted Li Yu's thought with a quiet but cold voice that was only heard by Li Yu.

She would have slapped the other party to death by now if not that she was scared of causing unnecessary trouble for her master.

"Hehe, Little Liu, what do you always think with that small head of yours?" Li Yu questioned playfully, resuming back his stroll as if nothing had ever happened.

The crowd that had already stopped what they were doing earlier due to the scene Li Yu and Huang Fu was playing, suddenly began discussing and putting their knowledge into what just occurred.

"My lovely Young master Li, where had you been for so many days, I've missed you a lot."

A female that was dressed in a scanty cloth that only covered her private part, while revealing the other part was currently flirting with Li Yu at the entrance of a three-storey building.

This is a huge building built from red hardwoods that cost a fortune.

There were different maidens also dressed in scanty clothes like the one talking to Li Yu you walking to and fro

Although it was mid-noon, different guests were currently entering and exiting the place.

This is Li Yu's destination, Plum Blossom Inn.

It's an Inn where one could eat meals, drink wine and alcohol, receive massage and a lot of interesting entertainment.

Many people always interpret this Inn as a prostitution house due to how it operates and how the staffs attend to their customers. Which was utterly a misunderstanding.

Plum Blossom Inn had never sold the female body to any customers before, the only things they offered to their customers were; good food, good wines and alcohol, massage, and entertainment.

"Hai, little Rose, I've also missed you a lot that I couldn't eat nor sleep."

Li Yu who had already activated his playboy mood replied flirtingly.

"Duh… quite giving me such a lie, okay?" The maiden replied, also flirtingly.

Then she invited Li Yu into the Inn which was always filled with a crowd and entertainment all time round the clock.

"Young master Li, are you fighting with us?"

"Young master Li, why had you not visited us for a long time now?"

"Young master Li, I have been unable to eat for many days now, because I had not seen you."

Li Yu was immediately flooded by different maidens when he entered the Inn and was spotted.

He was already blushing like a virgin at the moment.

"F*ck!!! Who is this person that is so popular amidst Plum Blossom Inn women?"

Some people suddenly questioned angrily.

They felt that if they could swap positions with Li Yu at the moment, they could die happily.
