Its been a week since the kids arrived in the court and have been training with Ruby who was drilling into them there duties and the rules to follow. Already their previously dead eyes are starting to gain brightness but is dulled of by their now dark pupils.
The reason why he gave the duty to teach to Ruby directly without trying is because he only wants assasins not warriors for a battlefield.Ruby herself is being trained as an assasin for him so who is better for the job is already a given. Not only are they drilled but with enough medications he is slowly improving their once stunted foundation getting them ready for an even harsher training.
As this is going on, Alex's father has already arrived and as a heir he has to show up, right now he is moving to the top of the mountain towards the glistening palace. While moving ahead he raises his head looking at the castle with mixed emotions which if one isn't familiar with him will just be another deadpan expression. With how he grew up with his capabilities he has trouble showcasing his emotions in his face but he could still experience them.
Back then he was younger and more naive, given the fact that his birth came with the wierd drama show occuring after everyone around him lost control of their emotions, he was known to be special which was confirmed once more after everybody realised that he already curved his emotion unconsciously as a young born.
With all the fame came jealousy from the other heirs who were now fearful of such a change. Most of them at that time were already starting the academy so much pressure was pulled away but the ones back here couldn't wait for him to grow up.
With killing out of the way they had to scheme for a way for him to fall out with the elders who were already sweetening up to him.
His household as a noble obviously has an emotion which they used to pull out of the crowd and used it to become a duke noble house. The scorpio Duke household utilized courage as their template for their dominant emotion for which they try and bring out that character using it. Surely they are not the only nobles doing that but so far they are the most successful with their ways but the emotion Alex curved to his soul was by far the most opposite it could get from their teachings. Being a mixture of fear and other dark emotions he has literally and figuratively become a black sheep among the heirs, using this information they disparaged the young heir before he even had a chance to speak out much less defend himself. As the matter was already complex his mother could only bite her lips with grudge on how to deal with the little monsters without killing them.
As he grew up in that courtyard he was never met with eyes that genuinely adored him for his talent, now as young as he was he could percive emotions no matter how hidden they are and this matter was especially so for the maids tending to him and by the time he reached five no matter how he tried to ignore he couldn't help but hate those judging eyes after finding out about how they came about. Being blamed because of their own incompetence is something he did not like and thus with his mother they moved into one of the many properties under his name and started to thrive and progress strides in his cultivation. As he grew up he came to find out about how the factions affecting him was just a front to how mighty his household truly is and the eyes of those background characters were watching this little play that was going on thus the mixed emotions as he still did not understand how they treated a child's whole life as a test, even now he realises how crazy their actions are as human babies are still fragile and controlling emotions doesn't mean understanding them, if not for his which were dulled those actions might have affected him more than he would have wanted but they probably wouldn't have cared. That is the life of a noble they'll say, to thrive under pressure and come out of impossible tasks is how one can truly be worthy of the title sovereign.
