Emmy's Beasts Children

In the dark, under a strange-looking tree, a lady around twenty-something could be seen clenching her stomach and looking pitiful. She seemed to be in pain and was breathing heavily. Above her in the sky, the color was very black and blurry. Rain started falling, and the thunder was clapping loudly and violently. The wind was very thick, slapping everything harshly. The lady stood with the support of the tree, using one hand to prop herself against the tree and the other hand to hold her stomach tightly. She breathed out and continued moving weakly. "Seems like I'm not going to escape this. What type of poison is this?" she wondered. She unbuckled her belt to relieve some pain, then sat down somewhere and groaned while her hand wandered around on the wet ground until it made contact with something. She picked it up and saw the object with the help of the lightning. The thing was round like a bead, and something joined them together. She did not care about what it was and just swallowed it. She was going to die anyway, at least she ate something. She could not figure out the taste of the thing, but it was surely not normal because as soon as it made contact with her throat, it felt very hot, as if she had drunk hot water that had not cooled. "Sh*t! Even in death, my luck is still very bad," she muttered. She was still lamenting when her aching stomach suddenly stopped aching. She did not have the chance to rejoice when her stomach started swelling up, getting bigger and bigger. It was as if it wanted to burst but, alas, it didn't. She could feel herself in labor. She groaned until something escaped her body - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. She was relieved from both the poison pain and her swollen stomach pain. When she looked at what she had given birth to, she was shocked. Eggs. She had given birth to eggs. And there were six. What happened to the eggs? Food to eat (2)

Looking at the owner of the hand, the white-haired lady saw a stunning two-colored-haired lady. The lady had an arrogant smile on her lips that bewitched souls. "Use your senses, Phoenix; Mother did not want your food," she said, slapping the food away with the back of her hand.

The white-haired lady frowned in displeasure but did not speak.

The blue-green-haired lady looked at the speechless Emmy and smiled charmingly. "Mother, your beautiful daughter brought you appetizing food." She stretched out the plate in her hand, filled with dead worms, slightly bigger than the white-haired lady's worms.

Looking at the ugly worms, Emmy couldn't hold it anymore and vomited.

The two mixed-colored-haired lady was dumbfounded, her proud smile slowly disappearing, replaced by an ugly look. She looked at the food she had brought and frowned. "Nothing is wrong with this; they are fresh and big," she thought to herself, looking at Emmy with a confused gaze.

After vomiting everything in her stomach, Emmy finally calmed down, looking at both girls with a sorry expression. Before she could apologize, a gentle voice called for their attention.

"I can see that Mom did not like the food you both brought. Mom, don't mind them; I brought you a rat and warthog. Oh, this warthog is too ugly; a beautiful woman like Mother won't be interested in it, so it's useless." The golden-haired lady walked in and immediately flung the warthog away after her statement. She walked closer to Emmy with two rats in hand. "I hunted them with care; they are fresh, and you will love it blood." She smiled.

If not for Emmy's empty stomach, she would have definitely thrown up again, but she tried not to look irritated, not wanting to break their hearts. Just as she was about to find suitable words to say and reject the food without hurting their feelings, three cold voices sounded simultaneously.

"She is a human, not like you; she can't eat all this. Are you planning to kill her?" Everyone's attention focused on the entrance, where three young handsome men stood with cold expressions on their faces. They walked in nobly, their aura beyond words, each holding a bag as they approached Emmy.

Tsk, we clearly know she is a human, and that's why we are trying to make up for your absence. You three went away after Mom fainted from exhaustion. Who will take care of her if we are not here? Tell me, who wants to kill whom?" The two mixed-colored-haired lady snorted in anger.

"Leave them... leave them." The golden-haired lady tapped on the two mixed-colored-haired lady's shoulder and said, "I thought they'd run away; I didn't expect them to appear." She chuckled.

The red-haired handsome man gave the golden-haired lady a deadly gaze, making her take two steps back unintentionally, then walked closer to Emmy and dropped the bag in his hand in front of her. "I don't know what you eat, but you should find what you like there." He said.

"Oh". Emmy blinked twice and cast another glance at the red-haired man before checking the bag; her jaw dropped at what was inside. Inside the bag were expensive foods she could never afford, even if her four years' salary savings were added together. Before she could make a comment, another similar bag appeared in her view. Eagerly, she checked them as well, and her shock was limitless. One bag was filled with expensive clothes, and the other was filled with different fruits. She was at a loss for words, even the three ladies.

"This... how did you guys manage to get the money to buy such expensive things?" Emmy finally asked.

The red-haired man raised his brows, a surprised expression on his face. "Aren't humans greedy and stingy? As long as they saw what was tempting, they wouldn't care where it came from. This human clearly needs all this, but why is she asking where it came from?" He thought to himself and frowned. "Just grab it from a random human." He replied.

"You what?!" Emmy stood up immediately, anger in her eyes. Even if it was the last option for her to survive, she would rather die than teach her children to steal. As a mother who had vowed to be a good mother, she would never allow her children to have a bad record. "And where did you get the courage to steal?!" Her eyes were red from anger, even the red-haired handsome man and others were surprised. "Tell me, you two steal as well?" She pointed at the remaining two.

"We... we..." the two stammered.

Emmy was even more enraged, pointing at them angrily. "I would prefer to eat worms and living rats than eat what you brought... take this thing out as well; you all should stay outside!" She roared angrily.

What kind of joke is this? Even though she understood that they were doing this for her, she still wouldn't take it. If she didn't show her anger, they would probably think that what they did was right and re-do the action, which would later backfire them all. How could she bear to watch her children perish in front of her? Never! She would be a good Mother for them.

Speechlessly, the three men took their bags and left.

Watching their retreating backs, Emmy's heart broke; she couldn't bear to punish them, but she had to do it for their sake. No good Mother would want their children's lives to be ruined in their hands or in front of them. She hardened her heart and looked away from them.

....

In just a blink, it was already dark; the cloud was not clear, and the weather was very cold. The wind was heavy, and it seemed like it would rain anytime. Inside a cave, Emmy sat alone, heartbroken, lost in her childhood memories. Then she was living like a princess, but everything changed after her father's death. Her mother remarried, and she was turned into a maid. She was maltreated by her own biological mother just because she wanted to earn the trust of her new lover. Sometimes she would vent her frustrations on her whenever she quarreled with her lover, and sometimes she would beat her without reason.

There was a day that her mother framed her for stealing her stepfather's money; she beat her and even sent her out of the house, saying she didn't want to live under the same roof with a thief and didn't want a thief as a child. She endured all this suffering until she finally left the house. Who would have thought that she would run into kidnappers who injected poison into her body? She managed to escape from them, and that's how she encountered her new beginning.

Remembering this stabbed Emmy's heart, and tears escaped her eyes without her knowledge. A gentle hand wiped Emmy's tears, driving her back to reality. She looked at the stunning beauties in front of her and smiled bitterly.

"I don't have a choice but to accept the reality that tricked me into becoming the mother of six children. I have accepted my fate, but I don't want to be like my mother, who only cared for her profit and never cared about my feelings. I don't want my children to be like me, who lacked mother's love. I can only hope that they realize my intention with the little punishment that I gave them. I am doing this out of love, and I don't wish for all of you to take the wrong path and I don't want you to feel bad about me, after all; you just arrived in this world."

Emmy cried. The main reason she didn't punish them ruthlessly and just sent them out was that deep down, she knew they did it for her. Most importantly, they were beasts and had just arrived in this world yesterday night; they didn't know how humans operated. Despite being angry, she was even more worried.

"What if they accidentally show their true self? What if someone recognizes them during their robbery? What will happen to them in the future?" These thoughts kept Emmy worried, and her heart ached violently.

Just as she was lost in thought, she heard a calming melodious voice, which once again drove her back to reality.
