Witches' forest is a small and independent country ruled by the witch queen, who is also named the Mother Witch. It was located inside a dark and gloomy-looking forest.

This forest Grand Magic Zone is the home to all witches and sits in a neutral area west of the border between the Clover and Diamond Kingdoms.

One might mistake the gloominess outside for the forest being haunted or downright cursed. But when I entered the premises, it was anything but that.

The whole forest was covered by tree houses, beautifully lit, and each house was populated by beautiful witches. Simple suspension bridges and large branches formed into makeshift pathways allowed for foot travel, making it a spectacular sight to gaze at.

Although this forest, which can be considered a small country, is very vast and spreads around the whole forest, full of giant and thick trees. The central area of the forest was bordered by a stone wall, which only had one huge wooden door as an entrance.

The doors and communication to the outside world were managed by the Mother Witch herself. The witches or the citizens of the country were not allowed to travel or have any connections outside their country.

In a way, this could make the citizens feel trapped inside their homes. But nobody dared to go against the Mother Witch on this matter; overall, witches in general, were pretty content with their peaceful and slow life.

But not all people want this slow life. Some people are just built different.

Some of these minorities tried to escape the walls and become free, only to be in vain. Not all of them were powerful enough to gain their freedom from the Mother Witch.

The Mother Witch always had her birds on the lookout for these traitors breaching walls. If caught lacking, they were imprisoned or, worse, killed for good.

Similarly, no men were allowed inside the walls of the Witches' Forest. The Queen had especially built the walls to keep out all the filthy, imperfect, and vile creatures that were Mexica...~ahem, men. Yes, the Queen had built a wall to keep out men.

All of the ignorant Witches called their queen 'Mother' because they thought that she was protecting them from the whole world. From those vile men, she always said about.

But those who personally knew the Queen would know how much of a petty and sorry-ass bitch she was.

This woman had imprisoned her own daughter, Vanessa, because she beat her at a game of chess. Declaring her evil and untrustworthy and accusing her of using vibration magic to silently move the pieces.

One such lady that wanted to escape her fate was Dominante Code, a fair lady in her seventeen's. She absolutely detested living inside the walls like cattle and wanted to go out and see the seas she always read about in the books.

She had read many fairy tales of a Knight saving damsel in distress. These books were smuggled by some sneaky witches 'who kind of bought some cultural books to understand the life outside better.'

She was responsible for taking care of Vanessa Enoteca, one of the imprisoned daughters of the Mother Witch. She pities that little girl, who had subconsciously used her arcane magic of fate manipulation to defeat the Queen in a game.

The egoistical Queen, who was enraged because a little girl's 'special' magic was able to outdo her, was extremely furious, to the point she deemed her a valuable asset and made her a caged bird.

Dominante was in-charge of Vanessa's food and other necessities, but nobody knew that they both were getting close, with Dominante telling her stories she read in books about Knights in shining armor and other erotic stuff that she shouldn't be saying to a minor.

Today was the same normal day for Dominante; she was going to her job to serve meals for Vanessa. She was excited to tell her about the hot scene she read yesterday night.

Giggling to herself, she twirled and started walking briskly to her destination. Although it was daytime, no light reached the base of the forest because of tall and thick leaves of the trees shaded them from it.

The whole Witches' Forest was dark, a home for shadow. And in this type of place, there was a certain genocidal maniac who thrived.

Suddenly, Dominante felt a gaze upon her. (huh? is someone there?) She was an official fighter for Witches' Forest; that's why she was sensitive to these things. She turned around and saw nothing; confused, she kept on walking to her destination (must be the wind.), which was a huge trunk of a tree specially made for Vanessa's birdcage.

Dominante entered the prison and saw Vanessa sitting there. Seeing Dominante, Vanessa's face lit up like a candle, and she beamed with a cheerful smile.

"DOMI!" she cheerfully greeted her.

"I am back, Vanessa" . "I was on a mission for a few days, but I am back!" Dominante replied.

"mouuuu, you better have some stories with you!"

"yes, I do, don't worry, fufufu~"

"Domi, I betcha two hot buns that a prince will come save us in 3"

"What are you talking about fufufu~" Domi started giggling over this new joke of her 'little sister'
