All of the eyes in the banquet were on Nacht as he entered the hall room. The huge crowd of people became silent as Nacht took his slow steps forward.

Nacht had been the topic of discussion of these nobles way too often these days. The drink he made was revolutionary and was taking over the whole Clover Kingdom by storm.

So naturally, like good ass lickers they were, the Nobles wanted a piece of Nacht's ass.

All of them were prepared to ambush Nacht like paparazzi as soon as he entered the ballroom. But seeing the man himself in front of them, nobody dared to approach him.

Nacht had a mysterious aura surrounding him, which made all of the people startled in this party. He was standing out like he wore a clown suit at a funeral.

Everybody was just staring at Nacht; nobody made a move. Right now, Nacht company's influence was off the charts and could even rival some of the oldest Noble houses. And on top of that, Nacht was a noble too; although exiled, everybody doubted that his family wouldn't intervene if things got serious.

Most of the Nobles had sour looks on their faces; they had thought that it would be easy to take advantage of a kid who was barely 15 years old, but seeing the way the boy carried himself, they were forced to give up on that thought.

But they wouldn't be Nobles of prideful Clover Kingdom if they gave up that easily. Some started to cook up a new plan to control him, and some decided it would be a good idea to trap him through women.

Amid all these scheming gazes, Mereoleona was also staring dumbfoundedly at Nacht (He is strong). During training in the wild and killing magic beasts in the forest, she developed a natural instinct to discern strong beings.

Just like many animals fled from someone stronger than them, Mereoleona could sense that the man in front of her was an absolute monster in human skin. She was on a hundred percent guard against this person (Just who is he? And how does he have this kind of power?)

After all, she was used to living inside a jungle, and you don't particularly let your guard down in front of something that could potentially kill you with one hit.

She was surprised to see a person who exuded such an aura here (He didn't even get his grimoire yet), (sure, he should have been suffering all this time living alone and exiled from his family)

This realization made her a bit empathic towards Nacht; no matter how stone-hearted one is, if someone sees others struggling and making good out of their horrendous lives, their heart is bound to soften.

(Why is everybody staring at me, hey are you guys hiding correctly?)

{Yes, we are trying our best; there should only be some residual mana that should be eminating} (Gimo)

(Oh, ok)

Nacht didn't bother anyone and silently went and stood in a corner, waiting for the actual grimoire ceremony to start up.

This was Nacht's way of avoiding attention, but this tactic did the opposite. The way Nacht just ignored his brother Morgan proved to the viewers that there is some bad blood between brothers, potentially created by House Faust exiling their one son.

(Yes, big brother is really angry with me. What should I do now?) Morgan was nervous on the other end that Nacht had ignored him and stood in the corner by himself.

In reality, Nacht had even forgotten that he had a twin brother. He was just spacing out, listening to the orchestra while sipping a drink in silence. One thing that was great at this party was that, as rumors, the Nobles didn't cling onto Nacht to lick him all over.

Soon, the announcement happened, and a bishop came up to a raised platform and raised his scepter high in the sky. And began his speech.

"The time has come for the sacred Grimoire ceremony, for the future of our glorious Clover Kingdom and its people. May the spirits bless the souls who are about to receive their grimoire."

All the participants of the ceremony were called afront, the surroundings went dark, and a circular area that formed a spotlight remained the only source of light.

"One by one, as your names are called, stand in this pillar of light, and you shall awaken your grimoire."

"Now, the first one to go in the circle is Vermillion Fuegoleon!"

"Yes, take that bitch; I got in first!" Fuegoleon jumped and stepped into the spotlight.

Nozel was internally fuming that his rival got the place first, and on the other side, Mereoleona was taking glances at Nacht standing in the darkness, alone, with cautious eyes. (As much as I like to fight, I prefer fighting on equal grounds, he is much stronger than me!)

A determination flared up in Mereoleona's mind to become more strong to fight this monster right in front of her eyes.

After countless boring minutes, just like any cliché, Nacht's turn came last. He went to the spotlight and stood in the circle.

After a few seconds, the whole room got dark as a veil was put on that cover all the light. The surroundings grew darker and darker, people started to panic, and many light-related spells were launched to assess the situation at hand.

A streak of purple light could be seen floating where Nacht was standing; the streak of light took the shape of the book, which was shining with purple borders.

Seeing the markers on the book, everyone's eyes widened in shock.

"A-a four-leaf clover Grimoire?"
