1 A Sudden Catastrophe

The alarm rings...

*ring tring ring*

"Uhh.. oof... *yawns*"

Alan and his younger brother, Harry wakes up from their sleep as they have to be ready for school. Alan cleans the bed as they get up from their beds.. then goes to brush. This was his usual weekdays routine. He then goes to warm the breakfast in the microwave for them. After being ready for school, wearing the school uniform and tidying themselves up they sit at the dining table for their breakfast.

While they eat, Alan says, "So what would you want for supper? I have a lot of pocket money with me I can buy you whatever you want to eat..."

"Really bro? Aren't you saving it for a new gucci shirt? Will you really let me eat stuffs from canteen?? No it is suspicious, tell me the real deal man", said Harry.

"Eh, uh you can eat anything from my money but don't tell father.. and no I am not scheming anything like I usually do. I am only doing this because I am happy nowadays."

"I know why you are happy bro.. but I will not tell anyone"

"Ughh!!... you bastard how did you know??.. SHIT! Who told you?"

"Your friend Aron told me... hehe.." says Harry while chuckling and smiling.

"F*ck, I will f*cking kill that filthy rat Aron.. oof!"

Alan gets up, finishing his breakfast and then they both with their bicycles ride to the school.

On reaching the gate, he bids his brother farewell and goes inside his classroom.

Their school is one of the best leading schools in Indi. It has a very large campus and consists of a canteen or cafeteria, a sports complex, a gym and the education campus. The buildings are four to six floors tall and are grey colored. The education campus is the main and very large campus.

Alan spots his friends while entering his classroom and had a short chat with them until when the homeroom teacher arrives.

Soon after, the lunch break starts and Alan buys his brother as he wished to eat and some for his friends. Alan was an extroverted guy but not too much. He only had a close friend circle of 5 friends including Aron, Maveyr, Shin and Jessica. They were also in the Student Council.

While eating, suddenly the surroundingsstarts to vibrate which brings fear to everyone in the cafeteria. Everyone shouts and starts panicking as they have never experienced like this before. As the members of the Student Council, we started making them leave the school buildings as soon as possible and everyone gathered at the football ground.

As soon as the trembling of the ground stopped, Alan went to discuss with the Principal and the Student Council President, John.

"What's happening?", says Alan with a confused look.

"Haven't got any news for an earthqu-" says the Principal but as he spoke.. A huge tremor falls on the ground.

The ground starts shaking tremendously as if the earth is gonna break into pieces. Everyone in the ground was forced to fall on their knees but shockingly the school buildings were intact. John took out his phone in the meantime and opened the news, it showed that several towers towering high, have formed at various locations. The estimate is more than half a million towers have formed world wide.

Alan starts observing the surroundings and he saw a tower very near to the school at the east and one far by the horizon at the south. They were very high and had an entrance in front of which there was a crystal ball, blue in colour, on a normal looking stand. The towers resembeled mordern architecture.

After a few minutes seeing that there were no occurences of the tremor they settled down at their respective classes. The school for that day was called off and every students returned to their houses.

On getting ready to return to his home, Alan told his brother to go home with his classmates as he could be busy. Alan with John and Aron decided to take a closer inspection of the tower. Fortunately, the police hasn't arrived to the location as it had only been a few minutes. Or else, it had been restricted for thr civillians.

The tower gave of a dark vibe and the crystal had an faint flame of blue surrounding it. While inspecting, Aron says, "Isn't this very similar to the novels and mangas? Which has towers and gates? If it is then... wait a minute... WHAT? HOW? Aren't they fictitous??.. oof I am so confused. If they are, then we can get a profession by touching them.. hoohooo... who wanna try it first?"

Not hesitating a bit, John puts his hands over the blue crystal sphere with an ominous aura.
