Emerald Ocean

{Announcement} Got a notification about being put in some kinda promising books event or whatever which I guess could be considered feedback so I'ma get to work on this book again... Gotta finish that there last arc... My little Gieco Lizard deserves death!!! --- Inside a garden full of towering trees untold years old that sadly have inferiority complexes caused by the never ending giant tower that supports the sky that the garden sits in front. Upon the branch of one of the smallest trees in the garden, the last of it's kind of the tallest it's breed of tree was ever been able to grow as well as the oldest, sits a beautiful fairy who seems but the size of a squirrel emotionless sipping tea watching the leaves fall off the leaves of the tree as if having already given up on life when suddenly a wind passes by the eternally still garden and everything gently quakes as the infinite number of lines along the towers base lights up gently with a blazing emerald flame that is bordering on black. As if struck by a earth quake the woman falls out of her chair unbearably shaking as her eyes lock upon a thing far away in the infinitely large garden not a plant, not a tree, but the ground itself. A crazy and hopeful fire begins to burn deep within the beautiful fairies eyes as reaches out her hand and with a determined look shatters the very core of her soul sending a piece of herself out into the earth and herself tumbling listlessly into a deep sleep alone on the branch. Hope still burning in her eyes even as they slowly close and a twisted smile upon her lips. Like a bolt of lightning the core of her soul that was a part of her soul but not at the same time takes flight towards the sky circling around the crown of the small tree twice before gently bumping into the already sleeping woman as if in sorrow before flashing away faster then the eye could see reaching a distance so far you wouldn't be able to walk it in a million years even if you could travel at the speed of light and diving into the soil of a solitary mound of dirty diving deeper and deeper it eventually stops and flashes so bright it can even be suttly seen from the garden above as the deep blue light like the ocean fuses into the very core of an single solitary atom inside the soil as if slipping through a crack. Across a vast and unending expanse of sky a brilliant flash of blue light up the very core of a universe before zooming away in the exact instant it appeared as if nothing their ever mattered not the massive throne, the unending number of people fighting for it, nor the ghastly little hut that's door has never opened in all of its existence and that space has warped the top of that no eyes made of flesh has ever seen and no man has ever hoped to enter. One, Ten, A Hundred, A thousand, A Million, A Billion, an untold number more stars pass by as they begin to trail together before the light finally find a crack. Not in space, not in time, not in anything but itself simply existing like it's always existed. The space between filled with nothing. Diving into the crack without even slowly down the blue light seems to fade from existence as if it was never there. Slowly but surely as the blue light fades so does the crack before with it's last peek a suttle flash of Emerald escapes being vanishing from sight. The gentle beam of light flew out never stopping till it struck a nearby planet. As the light was absorbed by that planets inhabitants something... Awoke.

Ch. 69 Ballad of Adrianna

Ellie grabbed two of oars the moment the ghastly figure disappears from view and goes to row away as fast as she could but stops when two ghost claws wind up on each of her hands. I remove the cloud cover before motioning with my tail towards the watch tower that used to have two swaying figures dancing around the mast but now they stand stock below the waste like a frozen statue as their heads rhythmically sway back and forth looking over the nearby sea. After reasoning we couldn't run Ellies face goes pale before I motion with my tail towards the back of the boat and show a cloud image of a set of windows at the rear of the ship with an empty cabin that has a ladder leading down. With an ashen face she looks at me like an idiot. "We want to leave not get on the ship what are you planning?" With a wink from me the cloud changes to the shape of the boat with a tiny flag of my body shape and a jolly roger behind it sailing above the mast. Ellie's still ashen face stiffened before she looked at my face on her shoulder and realized I had made an eyepatch out of clouds and her shoulder began to shake as she desperately struggles not to laugh after which she looks at me like I'm the devil. "Don't make me laugh or we will both die!" As I had successfully distracted her she doesn't realize we've already reached the rope ladder leading to the cabin window. When she does she jumped slightly and almost fell into the water but was able to grab the rope catch her weight on it. As she reached out her other hand she realizes she's already started climbing and looks at me wondering how the hell I did that... She must realize that was all her right?

After climbing up to the empty cabin Ellie gently placed her feet onto the ground afraid to make a peep. Without realize I've already begun attacking the undead outside with ghost claws from inside their heads... Sadly they all have so much health and I do so little damage so they began to cause a ruckus trying to figure out where the enemy is and finds hundreds of figures of mini boats floating my new jolly roger on their mini canoe sized masts. To war!!! Or not... Immediately thousands of arrows flew before bloody ice spikes began to follow then supersede them as the little boats began to take damage but reform immediately after as they are just clouds of mist... Seeing the arrows and ice attacks not working they dragged out some cannons from below deck and began firing them... Why keep the cannons below deck? More dance room? Odd... While all this was going on Ellie has begun to forget the situation we are in as she discovered this cabin was a rich little noble girls room after searching about a bit she found a bunch of pretty dresses that I'm sure looked good on the twelve year old girl who owned them but sadly don't fit Ellie at all... so she forgot about them almost immediately. Ellie eventually discovered a large case underneath the bed and pulled it out. It held the shape of a large guitar the outside were carved with many strange markings that glowed faintly and the obviously high quality leather looks almost untouched by the ravage of time that has made everything else in the room look gross... Including the 'pretty' dresses... I don't get fashion... granted I guess I am a nudist? I mean I'ma animal right? Why would I wear cloths that makes no sense.

Opening up the little case that had no instrument in it Ellie quickly discovered a sheet of paper. I have no clue what it says but I pick up a few words here and there due to my experience deciphering the book from the adventures who stole my fruit... That was awhile ago... I never got an answer to what exactly happened to my poisoned fruit. Or why I got called evil... I never did anything... To my knowledge... that wasn't justified. Yeah they are the evil ones!!! Anywho after a second of staring at it blankly I slap Ellie along the back of the head then she suddenly realizes... "Ah sorry, let me read it to you." Again, treating me like a human I don't care about this sheet music lets go!!!

"This is a story about the musician who owned this case. Well a ballad. Those usually are just stories with music on top of it that are sung. Anyways it tells of a little girl who was a prodigy who played music. However she died. Here. The man who practically raised her. A family servant who worked for her father since birth turned on her for money and to avenge something her father did. He violently beat and violated her before slitting her throat so she'd never sing again. However something went wrong and everyone mysteriously died after the girls throat was slit but the servant. He stood alone on the ship trying to sail it back for his money for years but got lost searching forever in the mist that follows the boat. After he died of old age he turned into a zombie and the crew stood back up and the girl began to play for them keeping them here forever. An eternal ball." Since the little girl wrote that... She must not know what killed the others or brought her back... However it seems like she's the key to everything. The servant must be the zombie captain and the music must be being played by the little girls ghost... Or body? As the creaking sound from outside along with the clanks of feet along the wooden floors Ellie quickly closes and pushes the case under the bed again before hiding behind the door as a faint figure in a yellow dress walks in. Right through the door. As the foot steps from outside follow her in pushing the door open hiding Ellie before placing the large instrument that fits in the case down then rushing out closing the door behind them. As the little girl sat down in a huff on the bed her eyes lit up curiously at seeing the girl slightly older then herself in the corner. With a cheeky smile the little girl speaks up in a quiet echoy voice. "So you are the reason my song finally came to a halt. Who are you big sist" With a shake and a loud boom the cannons begin to get shot off on the main deck.

The little girl frowns but moves on. "So who are you big sister?"

---Ellie---

With an ashen face I looked up at the ashen figure who caught her and almost faints as I was certain I was gonna die but as I begun to tremble I remembered the paper... The little musician isn't a monster just a victim of a tragedy. With that thought a gentle smile formed across my slightly ashen face as I told myself that this is just a little girl and there's nothing to be afraid of. Walking over and sitting down next to the girl I speak up. "Hello I'm Ellie and" motioning towards her shoulder "This is my companion... Uh... Well I guess he doesn't have a name." The little musician stood up and curtsied lightly like the noble lady she is and spoke again. "Hello Ellie I'm Adrianna, but you can just call me Addie. That's what my dad and... well that's what most people that mattered used to call me" seeing the strange face frowned before reaching her hand forward and showing the girl the sheet music. An angry look suddenly flashes on the girls face but slowly fades away after... "Big sister can you help me?" Adrianna face shifted towards the little winged scale-less dragon before asking with a curious face. "Oh and what is your little friend. He looks familiar but wrong. Also he feels like something I once had but lost..." looking at the green mist the little girls eyes blazed with greed suddenly as she turned to me. "Can he make this mist? If so can he make more... I want it... Can I have it?" With a frown I turn to my shoulder as Adrianna and I stare.
