Emerald Ocean

{Announcement} Got a notification about being put in some kinda promising books event or whatever which I guess could be considered feedback so I'ma get to work on this book again... Gotta finish that there last arc... My little Gieco Lizard deserves death!!! --- Inside a garden full of towering trees untold years old that sadly have inferiority complexes caused by the never ending giant tower that supports the sky that the garden sits in front. Upon the branch of one of the smallest trees in the garden, the last of it's kind of the tallest it's breed of tree was ever been able to grow as well as the oldest, sits a beautiful fairy who seems but the size of a squirrel emotionless sipping tea watching the leaves fall off the leaves of the tree as if having already given up on life when suddenly a wind passes by the eternally still garden and everything gently quakes as the infinite number of lines along the towers base lights up gently with a blazing emerald flame that is bordering on black. As if struck by a earth quake the woman falls out of her chair unbearably shaking as her eyes lock upon a thing far away in the infinitely large garden not a plant, not a tree, but the ground itself. A crazy and hopeful fire begins to burn deep within the beautiful fairies eyes as reaches out her hand and with a determined look shatters the very core of her soul sending a piece of herself out into the earth and herself tumbling listlessly into a deep sleep alone on the branch. Hope still burning in her eyes even as they slowly close and a twisted smile upon her lips. Like a bolt of lightning the core of her soul that was a part of her soul but not at the same time takes flight towards the sky circling around the crown of the small tree twice before gently bumping into the already sleeping woman as if in sorrow before flashing away faster then the eye could see reaching a distance so far you wouldn't be able to walk it in a million years even if you could travel at the speed of light and diving into the soil of a solitary mound of dirty diving deeper and deeper it eventually stops and flashes so bright it can even be suttly seen from the garden above as the deep blue light like the ocean fuses into the very core of an single solitary atom inside the soil as if slipping through a crack. Across a vast and unending expanse of sky a brilliant flash of blue light up the very core of a universe before zooming away in the exact instant it appeared as if nothing their ever mattered not the massive throne, the unending number of people fighting for it, nor the ghastly little hut that's door has never opened in all of its existence and that space has warped the top of that no eyes made of flesh has ever seen and no man has ever hoped to enter. One, Ten, A Hundred, A thousand, A Million, A Billion, an untold number more stars pass by as they begin to trail together before the light finally find a crack. Not in space, not in time, not in anything but itself simply existing like it's always existed. The space between filled with nothing. Diving into the crack without even slowly down the blue light seems to fade from existence as if it was never there. Slowly but surely as the blue light fades so does the crack before with it's last peek a suttle flash of Emerald escapes being vanishing from sight. The gentle beam of light flew out never stopping till it struck a nearby planet. As the light was absorbed by that planets inhabitants something... Awoke.

Ch. 100 Ellie's Path

After everyone was naked Jay immediately jumped into the water as if to hide herself... Seemingly nervous and shy about her body... Scarlett audibly giggles at Jay before she follows Sea around playing with her tail... All the while Sea just pulls Ellie into the water down some steps she doesn't seem to care at all while focusing on the mist that immediately began to gather around the surface of the water the moment Ellie got in with every step becoming thicker as if her entire body was dissolving Sea seemed amazed at the amount of mist that could cling to her skin almost unnoticeably and began to ask questions while playing with it and still leading Ellie further into the pool. Once Ellie has comfortably sat down Scarlett gets bored of playing with Sea's tail and swims over to the lady in the middle and climbs up on her lap and sits there like a happy little girl... It wasn't till Ellie has sat down that she noticed that the lady in the middle is sat upon a large stone raised platform in the pool only about 2 feet deep... The mother lady doesn't even seem to notice Scarlett still silently "sleeping" Ellie shrugs and begins to read the books she was given enjoying the warm bath as Sea still inspects the mist having already stopped asking questions... After an hour or so Ellie has finished reading all three books and begins to think about her own path... Much like the previous soil and plant analogy most people never get more then one or two skills orginally as it will cause the skills to have too little "nutrients" to grow if you get one or two skills first then let them nurture your soul, body or mind slowly then you can have that second or third skill level up much faster and reach the same place that would have taken you a year with three skills orginally in a month. So most people try to establish a core for their first skill it's the basic skill of their chosen class. For people with classes that core is usually chosen from one of the skills they already have at which point they will forcibly withdraw the other class skills for the time and focus on their core before using that core to develop outwards... Looking between the strange forms of skills and the weird nature of the alchemy archery then the many nature's of the shade skill Ellie ponders in silence before she looks to the mist and remembers her chosen class name... Cloudwarrior... She decided to try to use the mist...

Sitting still she begins to focus in on her energy pool that to this day only had the body strengthening skill in it and has been nurtured through exp it's absorbed she attempts to use the body strenghening skill but isn't trying to pull in exp this time but the mist... It's hard it's unbelievably hard... Despite being in her body the mist seems to clearly refuse to be a thing she can use as... It's a part of the little Greenie... She can't just steal it without fighting off the will on it... As she struggles to steal the mist and use to fuel her body strenghening skill with more and more strain she feels like she's having a game of tug aware with a brick wall... It's just impossible no progress being made at all... But she keeps trying to push the mist into the skill. Eventually she feels something... Like a itch in the core of her being suddenly the mist seems to roar and swim around her like the brick wall suddenly lurched forward she felt like she had succeeded... But she knew... she hadn't... it's not her that's moving that bit of mist but him... As it follows along like a giant monstrousity getting lead by a flea it follows her lead and ends up inside the body strengthening skill and the two seem to fuse creating a new skill all together focusing in on the skill that seems to be surrounded by mist she discovers they haven't fused... No... But they are fusing... Kinda... The mist is slowly turning the skill into mist as well like it's copying itself onto it...

--- Two days later

Ellie comes out of the training courtyard and follows Scarlett and Jay back to the team house... Supposedly the lady who was meditating in the pool is this groups leader and the surrogate mother of all the members... It's an all female team of women who were saved or raised by the team leader in one way or another... Supposedly there's six-teen of them in total. Despite not having officially joined the team sea insisted Ellie start living in one of the houses spare rooms... Eventually Ellie got to meet a bunch of the other ladies and even got to learn Seas specialty but she still doesn't have a clue about her race... As for the rose that her tail is blossoming from... Ellie learned pretty quickly it's not a unique trait involving Sea's tail... No it's just a tattoo all the groups members have... For whatever reason it was tattooed on around Sea's tail because the tail was in the way... A bunch of other girls supposedly have the same... one girl named Bell who had beast characteristics and is supposedly a beastman whose tribe was known as Jasmine Blossoms had to have butt shaved to get the flower on properly and Scarlett insisted on calling her baboon ever since... She's also a healer... However like many of the girls they don't always fit the class and role entirely properly... Her class fits her role though just... She does it weird... She uses her healing and light affinity to strengthen her body and her main weapon is gauntlets... Like sea she's one of the ones Jay is super nervous and submissive around... Supposedly the team is split into individual team role based factions. The factions are thorn petal and stem. Sea is the leader of stem a group that focuses entirely on body building... Supposedly sea is the strongest and eldest of all the sisters... Scarlett is the leader of thorn which focuses along attack skills and the petal group is supposedly led by "Mother" which is a group that focuses entirely on auxillary, support, or healing skills. Mother as no one has been willing to divuldge her name... Is supposedly a saint? Her actual class but when ever Ellie asked around about the leader of the team to people who weren't members she seemed to be described as the scariest monster ever... She is just a stage 3 priest but supposedly she can fight stage four warriors to a stand still and anything that's affinity is evil or dark she could likely fight even if it was stage 5... She has been refered too as the Holy Mother of Hell... and the Saint of Carnage ever since she supposedly found a slavery ring in the empire and butchered them all taking down two generals and a count of a certain noble family in the end... She was almost an enemy of the entire royal family but was supposedly pardoned by the chancellor after that... From what Ellie could find her fighting still seems to involve an absolute defense and healing skill... She reflects any attack back a hundred times worse and can be ripped in half before healing back like nothing... So some suggested if she ever decided to beat you to just lay there like a dead fish and hope she stops before you die because any retailiation means you immediately die by your own attack...

Laying down in her bed Ellie begins to focus in on her energy center again and has to wade through the mist for awhile before she finally finds the skill, ever since she pulled the mist in here more gathered and the entire place is now filled to the brim with mist even the exp seems to have been forcibly refined and compressed into her energy center itself as if turned into nothingness... Her skill is now entirely emerald green as the mist has slowly dyed it green... the skill still hasn't perfect fused but Ellie knows it's almost done just a little bit more of the core and it will be perfectly fused... Focusing in on the skill Ellie tries to urge it on more and more and after what felt like hours the final bit of pure white in the center of the skill turned green and like a pulse or a stone thrown into water a bright emerald light started from the very core of the skill and beamed out of it until it was glowing brightly...

Opening her eyes as she hears the sound of what's like a whisper in the back of her mind she recites the name aloud... "Mist Body Art"... as if body instinct all the mist seems to gather as immense amounts of energy from the air follows it's call and the mist in the entirety of her body and on the outside meets at the skin of her sternum with the immense energy and from the energy a simple scale forms on her upper sternum, upon it slowly mist seems to form a painting of a scene either from her heart or from her future that she's yet to see as a large dragon soars through the sky the glistening stars high above the clouds but a carpet as the sun fades into the horizon and a bright moon beams down upon the head of a excited Ellie as she looks out over the horizon before eventually the painting shrinks and disappears leaving behind a strange marking upon a scale. As the scale forms Ellie seems to figure out how to use her new skill as if she always knew as the mist inside her moves back to where it used to be and she commands a wisp of mist to move from the scale and follow around her body... finally having condensed her own mist.

Smiling Ellie begins to ponder on how she will make use of the shade, archery and dagger skills...
