Cruel Fate

'It hurt… it hurt.' she thought as the man brutally raped her.

Tears silently streamed down her eyes.

'When will it end?' she thought and closed her eyes tightly.

Snow was walking to her house in the night because she had to work overtime in the office when a group of three men grabbed her and dragged her to an abandoned building. She begged them to let her go, but they laughed and beat her to a pulp before then started rapping her one by one.

"Come on, man. It's my turn already." One guy told the man who was raping her.

"You'll have your turn when I'm done." the man who raped her told him.

'How hateful am I to deserve this life?' she asked as she cried. 'What have I done to deserve this? Why do all the bad things happen to me?"

She desperately wanted answers to her questions, but there was no one who could answer her.

After hours and hours of torture, they finally left her. She heard them laughing as they went away. Anger and hatred burned in her chest. She wanted to burn those men alive and skin them until they breathed their last.

She wanted to get up and run after them to kill them, but all the strength left her body. They had beaten and abused her so much that she was breathing her last breaths.

As she laid there on the cold ground, she started everything about her life.

'All the people in my life… made me miserable. No one cared. Maybe… maybe this is for the best. At least this way… all the pain would end.' she thought, but there were a lot of regrets she felt. A lot of things she wished she had done differently.

Her eyes stayed closed, and she waited for death to come and take her.

A few minutes later, she felt this strange coldness spreading through her boy and the coldness grew as the time passed. She also felt an intensely sharp pain in her back.

'Did they come back because they felt they haven't caused me enough pain yet?' she thought and then a second later it was all gone.

All the pain in her body went away, and she regained all the strength in her body. She opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was the sky. It was covered with clouds and snow was falling.

'Am i… dead?' she thought and slowly got up.

As she breathed, she saw her frosty breath. She looked around her and saw that the snow had covered everything as far as the eye could see. No doubt it was extremely cold, but what was strange was that she didn't feel the slightest bit of coldness.

She raised her hand and was surprised to see that it was paler than her skin usually looked. She looked down and saw that she was completely naked.

She let out a frustrated sigh. Being naked out in the open was extremely uncomfortable for her and she was really scared too because of what happened to her just a few minutes ago. Being completely naked was the last thing she wanted, even as a ghost.

She covered herself with her hand as much as she could with her, but before she could even take a step, she froze in horror as she heard a whistle.

"Hey, beautiful. What happened to your clothes?" she heard a man ask from behind her.

Fear took over her body as she noticed the lustfulness in his voice. Her heart started beating fast in fear.

She slowly turned around to look and saw the man looking at her lustfully. She remembered how she was raped earlier and she didn't forget the hate and anger she felt.

'No more. No more will I let any man walk over me again.' she thought with extreme determination in inner thought.

Snow looked around and grabbed a branch that was laying beside her and pointed at him threateningly.

"Stay away from me." she told him in a threatening tone.

The man laughed.

"Oh, so scary." he told her and snapped his fingers.

Suddenly, she felt something grab her and bind her. She looked down and was shocked because what was binding her were plant vines.

'How?!' she thought in shock as she looked at the vines with wide eyes.

"You must be one of the weak ones with almost no magic powers." he told her as he walked towards her.

'Magic… powers?' she thought in shock and confusion.

The man stopped in front of her and touched her face. An evil grin played on his face.

"But I must say, you are beautiful. I have never seen such a beautiful female in my life." he told her and touched her chest. "Such soft breasts."

Disgust took over her.

"Let me go!" she snapped at him.

"Ah, a fiery one. No worries though. I'm sure that I can train you to become… obedient." He told her and touched her butt.

Her whole body tensed in anger and hatred. She felt something strange flow from inside her chest to her whole body. Suddenly, the wind around them started blowing hard and cold.

"Don't you fucking touch me." she said each word with hate in her voice.

Suddenly, ice shards burst around her body and started revolving around her body. The plant's vines got ripped, and the man was sent flying from the impact. She looked at him with a murderous aura. The man shivered in fear as he saw how dangerous she looked.

Before she could even take a step further, something passed by her quickly and in an instant there was another man in a red long coat and with red hair looking down at the man who was on the ground.

"Help me." the man on the ground told him.

But instead of helping him, the man took the sword out of its sheath and, in a blink of an eye; he slashed his throat.

Snow didn't know who he was, but she knew that he was dangerous if he could kill someone in cold blood, not that she didn't pity that man.

The man in the red coat turned around and looked at her. He was wearing a black mask with golden color designs on it. His expression looked bored to her.

"S-stay away from me." She told him.

The icicles still rotated around her body in a circle. She didn't know how she was doing it, but she was grateful for it.

"I mean you no harm." he told her in a steady tone.

"You're lying. As soon as I put my defenses down, you'll… you'll d-"

Rage took over her body as she thought of the things he would do to her if he caught her. The air around them blew even more fiercely.

The wind was so strong that his mask flew away from his face.

"I WON'T LET YOU HURT ME!" she yelled, looking at him.

Out if thin air, sharp icicles formed and fired straight at him.

He jumped high towards them and with his sword, he stopped the rest of the icicles from hitting him. As soon as his feet touched the ground, he sprinted towards her with such inhumane speed that she didn't get the time to react.

The man was suddenly behind her. He hit the back of her neck and she fell unconscious.
