2 : It Apperead

The team of hunters continued killing the Dreadweaver and Luminari Weaveants.

"We will rest here for 10 minutes and then go forward. " The captain said.

Kei sat down and began thinking 'This is going too smoothly -' but his thoughts were cut off suddenly when he heard 'thud'.

He turned around to see a body of a comrade laying on the ground but his head was not there. This created a ruckus and everyone started to panic but they maintained a position. "Stay Alert! This is something that we are not aware of so don't charge in recklessly."

Kei and Zen had drawn out their weapons and were standing near each other. But then another body dropped, then another and soon everyone started to run away in different directions.

It seemed like somebody was hunting them. Kei and Zen managed to run into a dead end and they looked back at the place from where they came from. "Wanna bet on what's the thing that is killing us?" Kei just sighed at what Zen said.

Kei thought 'It is big enough to swallow one's head in whole. It is agile and stealthy enough to not get noticed. It must be -' but he had to duck as something whipped past his head and then he slid back and hit the wall while blocking the attack of the Mother of the Dreadweaver.

"How the hell did the Boss escape from the boss room ?!?!" Zen asked as he readied himself.

But he was flung away with a hit by the boss. Kei regained his balance and attacked the legs of the Mother of Dreadweaver . It did no damage but yet he continued until he was swept away. He had to block the venom which was spat by the boss with his sword.

As his sword was not made out of any high-grade material it corroded. Kei saw the boss approaching him but he hadn't given up on his life as he thought while taking out a pocket knife 'I can't defeat it but I can stall for time and regroup with the team and captain.'

Then Zen came from seemingly nowhere and stabbed one of the eyes of the boss. It roared and became enraged and swatted away Zen. He rushed towards Kei as he was near and almost bit his head off but the Captain of the team blocked it.

"You are having all the fun without me huh rascal." The captain of the team was a C-ranked Hunter and he was an old man in his forties. He had brown hair and brown eyes with a slash around his eye and a beard.

Kei smiled "You would always come at the right time, Captain." Then the captain started to push back the Mother of Dreadweaver. Kei and Zen regrouped with some of the members who were with Captain. All this noise that was created caused all the Dreadweaver and Luminari Weaveants from all over the cave to gather there.

Then the hunt started. Kei got a sword from one of the corpses that was lying there. Kei, Zen and the Captain started to attack the boss from all directions.

Mother of the Dreadweaver started to get agitated and started to spit out its venom. Three of them couldn't get close to it because of the venom. They gained some distance and waited for a chance to attack and soon they got it as the boss got tired and it let its guard down and the Captain cut off one of its legs.

It howled very loudly and this caused all the Dreadweaver to come there and attack the three. They couldn't handle it as most of the members at the back lost their lives. They had to retreat back to the point from where they started.

They couldn't leave the dungeon as once they entered they couldn't leave but anyone could come anytime.

Kei started to think 'How can a boss leave their room ?' then Kei's eyes widened as he remembered why it might have happened but he was too late to react.

He saw a blur pass him and kill all the members present there including the captain and his best friend Zen brutally. Kei was shocked and stood still as he saw a black figure approaching him. It had dark red eyes and very sharp claws.

Kei trembling went into his possibly last stance. He regained his composure and charged at the thing. The creature howled and lunged at Kei and it ripped the arm of Kei right out of his socket.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! FUCKING HELL!" Kei fell to the ground and clutched the area where his arm was ripped off from. The black figure approached him and kicked him in his face which send Kei flying into a wall and breaking through it. The last thing Kei saw before he lost his consciousness he saw the black figure disappearing while screeching a lot. It felt as if someone was forcefully sending it somewhere but it cannot be possible, right? Who can have that much power to force the black figure to do something.
