PROLOGUE

  With the advancement in technology, humans took another step into the unknown. The organisation controlled by the United Nations, ARST (Advanced Research in Space and Time) finally found the answer to the problem of exhausting energy resources on the planet. It was an accidental miracle that happened in the discovery of teleportation technology.

  In the year 3233, ARST, supported by the world, finally succeeded in creating a portable wormhole and realised the dream of long-distance travel in seconds. The miracle found its way to Earth when a dispute over teleportation accidentally opened the doors to the New World. The researcher and scientist found their own way of studying the unknown.

  After some decades of more research, humanity discovered dimensional energy through which the radioactive substances on earth like plutonium stabilised and made into high-powered batteries that could last up to ten times longer than the original radioactive substance They named this new compound N-Ether.

  This application overcame the energy crisis and revolutionised the power sector. The ground-breaking development brought the ultimate comfort in human life, but gods should have limited the thinking capability of humans.

  In search of more energy and new life, they ended up opening a gateway to their doom. A passage for another world opened for an instance and in that fraction of time, a single creature of humongous size crossed over to the earth. It wasn't that humanity was incapable of defeating the thing, but the excessive radiation put out by the creature brought humans to their knees.

  Humanity finally pushed the creature to its end, but it was just the beginning. Before dying, that thing had opened several portals to its dimension and with a regular rampart of their race; the UN declared their intention of fleeing to the Mars colonies. The countries capable of shifting their populace to Mars hasten the transfer.

  in the meantime, ARST was dead set on rectifying their mistake and building the weapon, capable of mass manufacturing N-Ether the only thing capable of killing these interdimensional creatures named IDCs.

  They initially created the SAAI (Self-aware artificial intelligence) ships as the last hope to revive the human race if they perish in the struggle against the IDCs. but with the immigration to Mars, they evaded extinction. ARST armed these vessels and reprogrammed them to kill IDCs. The hard work of ARST bore fruits as these (SAAI) ships started fighting the IDCs on equal footing.

  And on the fateful day of August 17, 3422, the last IDC vanished into a wormhole with the oldest model 051RIS ship. Humanity finally got their earth back but the nuclear pollution made it completely unhabitable. Cleaning up this pollution was going to take a long time, but this story is not about that; This is the story of the long battle between IDCs and 051RIS that was still in progress in some other place.
