15 Asking Out Our Dear CEO and the Wrath of the Foursome

"Secretary Lim! Secretary Lim! Do you have my scheduled cleared for the end of the month?" Sunwoo asks.
"Yes, Sunwoo. I've cleared the 31st because of Sonsung's annual gala and I've also cleared the 30th so you can go shopping or to complete errands."
"Thank you Secretary Lim. Can you place an order for a bouquet of roses and an new suit. I need the suit to be ready by tomorrow to make sure it fits."
"Yes, sir. But, Sunwoo. . . What are the roses for?"
"For a girl that has caught my eye. . ."

KI Headquarters
October 28, 2027 (Thursday)
"SECRETARY HAN!!! COME HERE NOW!"
Secretary Han rushes into the office, looking a bit frazzled.
"What is it CEO Jeong? What do you need?"
Sujin points to the papers and invitation that are laid on her desk.
"What is the meaning of this?"
"Ohhhh. . . . That . . . . That's your invitation to the annual Sonsung gala. It's not optional to attend. You need to attend as the new CEO of KI. And, I had already informed you of this event earlier in the month. Do you need me to clear your schedule or reschedule any meetings?"
"Yes." Sujin says. "I need you to clear my schedule for the 30th, and 31st. Could you also reschedule all my meetings for the first week of November? Also, tell my mother, sister, and sister-in-law, that I will take them shopping the 30th."
Secretary Han scribbles on her notepad, and asks, "Is that all?"
"Yes, now please go back to work Secretary Han."
"Yes, CEO Jeong."
A FEW HOURS LATER. . . . . . . . . .
"SECRETARY HAN!!! COME TO MY OFFICE RIGHT NOW!"
From her desk, Secretary Han makes a mad dash for the CEO's office. She opens the door with great force.
"What is it CEO Jeong?"
Secretary Han looks around the office to find the CEO standing on her desk.
"Ummmmm. . . . . What was it that you needed CEO Jeong?"
"I need you to kill that spider!! Hurry up! AHHHHH! IT'S MOVING!! AHHHHHH!!!!"
Secretary Han picks up book, aims at the target, and fires. It's a ONE SHOT KILL! Secretary Han dusts herself off.
"There. The deed is done. I will take my leave."
"THANK YOU~~~~~ Secretary Han. . . . I'm sorry that you had to see that side of me. Especially since we're in a work space."
"It's okay CEO Jeong, everybody has their weaknesses."
CEO Jeong smiles awkwardly and gestures to the pile of papers on her desk.
"Well, I'll just get back to work."
Secretary Han says as she closes the door, leaving Sujin to work on her tasks.

October 30, 2027 (Saturday)
Jeong Family Manor
"Come on Sujin hurry up. The shopping mall awaits." Mrs. Jeong says impatiently.
"Yeah Sujin, hurry up. You're the one that told us you would take us shopping, but you're the last one ready. Come on hurry it up." Sumin echoes.
YoungMi on the other hand just sighs. "We were supposed to leave the house 30 minutes ago."
"Okay! Okay! I get it. Stop. Just stop. Okay? I understand that I was the one who promised to take you guys shopping, and I understand that i should have woken up a little earlier, but you can't blame me for not getting enough sleep. . . "
The three women turn around and glare at Sujin.
"We can't blame you for not getting enough sleep? It's your own fault that you stay at the office super late, don't get home until super late, and that you sleep super late. So yeah. It kinda is your own fault that you don't get enough sleep."
Sujin sighs in defeat."Okay I lost. I won't argue anymore. Let's go girls, we've got some shopping to do."
A FEW HOURS LATER
[How much longer can these girls shop?] Sujin wonders.
On Sujin's arms she carries around five to six huge bags from stores containing jewelry, purses, dresses, shoes, clothes, who know what? Sujin is physically exhausted from shopping with her two sisters and her mother. Sujin is praying that the shopping expedition ends soon because her arms really can't carry these heavy bags for much longer.
"Oh. Let's go to this store," Sumin says. "They've got some cute dresses. Maybe we'll find you a dress for the gala Sujin."
"Yeah," YoungMi says. "Looking in one more store couldn't hurt."
At those words, Sujin almost collapses.
[WHYYYYYYY?!?!? I just want to go home. But, they've found yet another store to look through. Will this trip ever end????]
The four ladies walk into the store to find many elegant, beautiful dresses on display.
"Oh. My. Gosh. Look at that dress over there Sumin. Isn't that perfect for Sujin?" YoungMi suggests.
"You're right," Sumin replies.
Sumin walks over and grabs one of the dresses off the rack, holding it out ot Sujin.
"Here sis. Try the dress on."
Sujin frantically shakes her head.
"Come on," Mrs. Jeong says. "We haven't been shopping that long and we still haven't found you a good dress to wear to the gala. So, go try that on, and we'll get you some more dresses to try on."
Rather reluctantly, Sujin goes to the dressing room to try on the dress.
Sujin puts on the cream white dress (with lots of struggling) and walks out of the dressing area.
Outside, her mother, and sisters are waiting eagerly. Their mouths drop when they see Sujin walk out in the cream colored dress.
"Sujin, you look very pretty. Like extremely pretty. I mean you already are pretty, but that dress just makes you even more pretty." YoungMi says.
"Excuse me," Mrs. Jeong waves her hand," We'll take this one, but we're trying a couple other dresses on so don't wrap up the dress just yet."
"Yes, ma'am." The store assistant says as they take the dress behind the counter to wrap up.
Sumin holds out a dark navy dress, and a blush pink dress out to Sujin.
"Here, try these on."
Sujin groans. "Do I have to?"
"Yes, you have to." The three respond simultaneously.
Sujin reluctantly takes the two dresses into the dressing room, tries them each on, which then also get wrapped up to be purchased.
After trying about a dozen dresses on, the girls finally decide to leave the store and call their shopping expedition to an end.
Sujin, bags in hand, runs to the car, puts the bags in the trunk, and hops into the car, eager to go home.
"She really hates shopping doesn't she?" YoungMi asks.
"Yep. She's never been much of a shopping person." Sumin says.
"Even if she did go shopping she would only by like sporty stuff or practical things." Mrs.Jeong says.
They shake their heads and head home to prepare for the coming day's gala.
October 31, 2027 (Sunday)
Sonsung Events Area
"Welcome to the 67th Sonsung annual gala! To your right we have refreshments and a selection of foods. To you left, are the seating areas. Each company has a designated table, so when taking your seats make sure that you're at the right table. There will be a raffle later on, so pay attention and hold onto to that ticket that was given to you when you first walked in. The winner will receive two tickets to a tourist location of their choice from Choi TourAirlines. Other than that, I hope that you ladies and gentlemen will have a wonderful evening at the 67th Sonsung annual gala. Thank you and enjoy your evening."
At the Park Tech and Computer Systems Table. . . . .
"Secretary Lim, do you have my bouquet ready?"
"Yes, Sunwoo, it's right here." The secretary says gesturing towards the bouquet of red roses lying on the table.
"Tell me when it's close to eight o'clock. I'll give her the bouquet then. Hopefully she says yes to my request."
"Hopefully that is the case Sunwoo." Secretary Lim says.
Meanwhile. . . .at the KI table. . . .
"ARE YOU READY TO PARTAEEE??" JaeSeong shouts. "COME ON SIS. You look beautiful just standing there, but you got to move around. This is a PARTAE. We came to PARTAE. Not to stand around like a statue. Oh. And, we came for the food. You can't forget that we came for the food."
"Why should I even bother?" Sujin asks. "I'm leaving early anyway. It's not logical to get involved if I'm leaving earlier than everybody else.''
"Oh come on Sujin. You should at least do something! Come on go out there. Go meet some people, dance, I don't know just do something." JaeYoung says.
Sujin reluctantly moves from her statue like position, and wanders around the area. She steals a couple snacks from the refreshment and food table. While she's walking around she gets this rather odd feeling again and looks around. But, the feeling is gone in a heartbeat.
[Why does this keep happening to me? Is something wrong with my heart. . .]
While Sujin is thinking about all the reasonable solutions to this feeling, Sunwoo starts to make his move.
Sunwoo walks over, roses in hand and taps Sujin on the shoulder.
"Hello," Sunwoo says. "I'm the Managing Director of Park Tech and Computer Systems. You caught my eye a while back, and I've finally mustered the courage to ask this one question. CEO Jeong will you go out with me?"
Sujin's shocked. This was the last thing she was ever expecting.
[I can't do this. There's no way I'm dating with my Life Dates getting closer each day. I'm not letting a boyfriend take care of all my things. I refuse to date. If I date then Hyunwoo will always be at home and he'll never be able to spend time with me before I go.]
"No." Sujin says.
Everybody watching the display is shocked. Why would she say no to such a handsome man and his good background?
"I'm sorry, but no. I will not date. And that decision is final. Now if you'll all excuse me, I have to head home to take care of my son."
Sujin storms out of the gala leaving Sunwoo and the rest of the guests shocked as she exits.
"What's wrong with her?" Someone whispers.
"How could she say no to a man that bluntly?" Another says.
JaeSeong, JaeYoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo are also shocked by the display. But, they're fuming because everyone is criticizing their sister. And, no one messes with their sister. No one.
JaeYoung cracks his knuckles and loosens his tie. He points to one of the men who said something about Sujin.
"Come out." He says threateningly.
The man hesitates.
"COME OUT NOW!" JaeYoung shouts.
The man shuffles forward, his head bowed. JaeYoung shoves him to the floor into a kneeling position.
"Do you know what you did wrong?" JaeYoung asks as he holds the man by his hair.
"No, sir. I don't know what I did wrong." the man whispers.
"You made fun of my sister, and judged her perfectly logical decision that's what you did wrong."
JaeSeong gets up from his seat and takes off his suit jacket and loosens his tie. He points at another man in the crowd, and beckons for him to come forward. The mman shuffles out and immediately goes into the kneeling position.
"You really have some nerve don't ya." JaeSeong scoffs.
The man shakes his head frantically.
"Please forgive me It won't ever happen again."
"WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN? What kind ofBS is that? If you say mean words to my sister you're done for. Because no one, and I repeat no one, messes with my sister."
Back at the table Jungwoo and Jaehyun look at each other.
"Shall we go then brother?" Jungwoo asks.
"Yes, let's go. Shall we?"
They both nod at each other. Then they strut to where the other two brothers stand, one standing by JaeYoung, the other standing by JaeSeong.
"All of you that just said something behind the CEO of KI Group's back, please make your way " Jaehyun says.
Man people come forward men and women alike. They all force themselves into a kneeling position, waiting for their painful punishment/
After all the guests that said hurtful words to Sujin have gathered, the brothers begin pacing in front of them.
"So," JaeYoung asks, "How should we carry out their punishments>"
"I have the solution brother," JaeSeong says holding up something in his hand.
Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and JaeYoung see what JaeSong is holding in his hand and smile.
A FEW MINUTES LATER. . . . .
Screams and shouts ring out. People are running. It's chaotic in the Sonsung Events Area. No one is safe from the wraiths of the angry foursome. Since their sister had gotten hurt, they should return the favor. Right??
