Untold power

A few days has passed and we have not came close to finding the last cube. We fear that Ben has found it and is planning something. In the mean time my friends have caught me up on everything that I have missed. I have been wide awake for five days now. I have practice my sword skills and did some reading. I have also planed Noah's funeral. I wish I could leave this room but I can't till we find that last cube. I haven't seen Noah...They should be bringing him in here today.

A few hours passed and the others came into the room.

Emily "Hey Kat we brought Noah with us so you can say your goodbyes."

They say his coffin down next to me. As I placed my hand on the coffin all the memories I have of him flooded my mind. Every good and sad times. I opened up the coffin and began to cry. I looked at his breathless body but still no words came out. Until I found some strength.

Kat "You promised me you wouldn't leave me.""I wish I was there to protect you.""You will always be in my heart.""Thank you for everything my friend."

I reached over and kissed him on the head. I let go of his hand and looked down.

Emma "Are you ok Kat?"

Kat "No I'm not ok. I have lost a friend and it's because of that stupid shadow Ben."

Dylan "Um guys how long has Noah been dead?"

We turned to look at Dylan due to the question he asked.

Emily "I think a week. Why?"

Dylan pointed at the coffin. I looked to see if there was something different about him. To my surprise there was a difference. His skin was no longer faded. It was going back to its normal color. How and why though?"

Emily "Is he?"

I placed my hand on his heart. BEAT BEAT...BEAT BEAT.

Kat "Holy shit!""He's alive."

The room grew with joy and cheer.

Kat "Hey Noah are you awake."

Emily and Emma pulled Noah up so everyone could have a better look.

Noah "...Am I still dead?""Or are you guys dead to?"

Kat "Welcome back to the land of the living."
