You underestimate me Professor

Aria skipped over happily to the teacher's table and picked up a sandwich.

She nibbled on it happily, looking like she had just come out of a painting. She was looking just like what she did when she entered the classroom, beautiful marble face with unearthly beauty, and not even a hair out of place.

Many of the students were surprised to see her doing this. They were having a very difficult time concentrating on making and maintaining their vases. They did not have time to let their thoughts wander, let alone eat. They were also sweating like crazy and looked a mess, completely opposite to Aria's perfect dress and hair.

Even Professor Dalhia was surprised as she said, "Miss Aria? Are you sure it's okay to leave your vase like that? What if it's not yet frozen enough?"

Aria tilted her head as she picked up another sandwich, "I have not left it like anything. I'm still making sure it's shape stays intact."

Professor Dalhia's eyes widened as she stared at Aria's hands, both busy in eating.

Professor Iris walked towards Aria's desk with a smile and looked in her container. She said, "Miss Aria, you sure using all of your water was the correct choice?"

Aria's container of water was completely empty. Aira blinked, "Of course. We don't have any other use for it. Do we?"

Professor Iris: "What if you spoil your vase and it needs some mending? Don't you think any extra water would come in handy then?"

Aria smiled as she walked back to her desk and stood facing Professor Iris.

She said, looking straight into Professor's deep blue eyes, "You underestimate me Professor. My vase won't need mending. And if I do have to mend it, I would rather try again next month. I would hate to spoil a beautiful vase like that."

Professor Iris shook her head with a smile, "You're as confident in yourself as always. Well, the only thing I can say is good luck to all. I hope to see many of you in the next class." And she walked out of the classroom.

Two more hours had passed and Aria was sprawled on her desk, breathing deeply.

She was woken up by a tap on her shoulder and Professor Dalhia's voice, "Are you sure you want to be so careless, miss Aria?" She seemed a bit angry at how lightly Aria was taking her exam.

Aria sat up straight and said, not at all sounding like she had just woken up, "I'm not being careless Professor. It's just that my vase no longer requires bending. Have a look for yourself."

Saying this Aria opened her ice box and invited Professor Dalhia to take a look. The latter took a look and straightened up. "Well if you think you're done, why don't you submit your vase and leave?" she asked, her voice stern.

Aria shook her head, "It's still not completely done. It might have looked like I was asleep, but I was keeping tabs on it. It still needs to freeze a bit more. I'll be sure to submit it once it's done."

Professor Dalhia said nothing and walked away from Aria's desk, who let her gaze wander over to Helen before once more laying down on her desk.
