Penny: "I can ask Aria. She will definitely persuade her parents, she is a nice girl."
Aria's face brightened up upon hearing this. No matter how mature, Aria was a kid after all. She liked it when people praised her. And Penny was genuinely doing it, as she did not know Aria was there.
At that point, Aria made a decision. She decided that she was going to have two little baby siblings to play with. She was going to talk to Penny and help her throughout her pregnancy. "And this man, I will make sure he is never seen in the capital again." Aria sworn in her heart.
Aria listened again, the man was now saying, "I don't care what you do. It's better that you get rid of this, otherwise the consequences will be dire."
Upon hearing this, Penny broke down. She sat on the ground and started crying. The man scoffed and went away.
Aria sat there for some time. When she was sure that the man was gone, Aria gently twirled her fingers and a very fine beam of fire, so fine that it could be mistaken for a wire, came out of one of the castle windows and headed towards Penny.
As she sat on the ground, her face buried in her hands, Penny suddenly felt warm. She looked up to see fire around her. It was not much, just enough to form a circle around her to provide her with warmth.
As Aria twirled her fingers, she felt exceptionally happy. So she made some of the fire go in front of Penny's face. Penny looked at the little ball of fire with such interest, tilting her head, that it made Aria giggle. She twirled her fingers some more and the ball slowly formed a heart shape. The tears in Penny's eyes were long gone by now.
Aria once again gave her fingers a jerk and the heart changed into a wire which made a smiley face in front of Penny.
Penny smiled and said, "Come out, Miss Aria. I won't be angry."
Aria came out of the bushes and walked towards her. She asked, "How did you know it was me?"
Penny: "You are the only person I know who has such delicate control, and care about me enough to come out on such a cold night."
Aria: "Pfft, look who is talking. The one who ran out without even so much as a sweater."
Saying this Aria took off her cardigan and put it on Penny's shoulders, who was level with her due to the fact that Penny was still sitting.
Penny: "No no, Miss Aria. You need to be protected against the cold, I can manage on my own."
Aria: "Wear it. I have fire with me." As she said this, the fire that was around Penny surrounded the both of them.
Warmth spread across Penny. Warmth that had nothing to do with the fire around her, or with the cardigan, which was so small that it kept slipping off Penny's shoulders.
She stood up and pinched Aria's cute little face, saying, "You are the cutest angel to ever be born in this world. Did you know that?"
