She is safe finally

Fighting to keep her mind sane, Aria pulled out Helen from the ground using wind bending and flew her the two kilometres she was away from the Scott mansion.

Aria was fighting her own self now. Her instincts trying to take over to protect herself. Her rage against Flame and the other night warriors getting stronger by the second, and her conscious mind, flying Helen back to the Scott mansion.

Aria let out another blood-curdling scream as Flame burned the skin in front of her left ear, her senses tried to take over, but Aria saw the Scott mansion coming into view with her wind bending. She was barely conscious of her own self as Aria made sure Helen landed safely inside the main gate of the Scott mansion in the grounds.

Her rage took over as soon as the pressure of protecting Helen left her and she had no idea what happened next.

The next thing Aria knew, was that she was oddly uncomfortable. She slowly came to and her mind became a bit clearer. Aria remembered all that had happened with the night warriors upto the point Flame had burned her and Helen had landed safely back home, but after that, it was all a blank.

Aria let out a huge breath as she realized what had happened. She had flown into a rage. But the weird thing was that she remembered nothing about what happened, though she still had memories of the time she had flown into a rage before, with Sebastian and Penny. Though the memories were a bit hazy than all her other memories, she remembered nevertheless.

Aria groaned as she wondered where she was. Maybe she was dead? Aria thought to herself and chuckled. Yeah, like dying would be so uncomfortable. And she was anyway too much of a monster to die so easily.

But the next instant, she gave up wondering and a smile formed on her lips. She recognized the scent of this place. Aria did not even have to think about it, she had been here as often as she had been in her room at the academy, she was in the academy's recovery ward. "Of course, this is exactly where I always end up in the end." She chuckled to herself and muttered, "I can't wait to be scolded by Miss Anhao and the others."

Aria slowly opened her eyes and looked around. It seemed to be evening, judging by the fading light outside the ward windows and the fact that the lamps had just been lighted. The rest of the beds seemed to be empty, though Aria fancied she saw someone on a bed nearest the door.

As usual, she herself was in her usual bed. The one closest to a window that had a huge tree just outside. Aria liked to sneak out and sit on that tree whenever she was admitted here. It was high and in the open just as she loved and she could quickly rush back if she felt Miss Anhao coming in.

Aria thought about calling someone, but decided against it. She would be the center of attraction tomorrow, right now she just needed some more sleep. Aria thought as she settled in the bed comfortably and closed her eyes.
