Problems Never End.

"Son, Listen to me, That's nothing for us to get involved in, That's a family matter, Do you understand?" He said whilst looking at me with his dark yet fearsome eyes.

"Y-Yes, I-I understand." I quivered with a mumble.

We quietly ate dinner while there was this awfully unpleasant feeling in the air that made it hard for me to eat.

"S-So did you like the party?" Mom said as she tried to liven up the mood, "Which part? The start, the middle, or the end?" I answered with a dull face as I fidgeted my food around on my plate, "Come on, Don't be-" Said Mom as my Dad spoke over her.

"I know that you are upset about earlier, But those are things we can't trample over." Dad explained with his parental look on his face, "B-But Dad! Misaki and Ms. Hayami are being abused by a man that isn't even-" I said while raising my voice, "THAT IS NOTHING FOR YOU TO GET INVOLVED IN!" Yelled Dad as he slammed his fists onto the table as all of the plates and cups vibrated.

"Z, I'm sorry-" Dad began to apologize, But he soon came to realize I had already vanished. Shortly after, they heard the loud bang of my bedroom door being slammed.

"I can't keep living like this, Not like I'm living that much longer…" I sighed as I threw myself onto my bed.

"Hey, Zakou." Greeted Gale whilst slowly taking her fairy form from minuscule light orbs, "Hi Gale." I answered with my face flat down on the bed, "It's not been the greatest week, Mostly about you finding out about your-" She thoughtlessly went on as I spoke over her, "Don't even bring it up, I know it hasn't been the greatest week, I never have great weeks. I'm an assassin for god's sake, aren't we all destined to have terrible lives?" I sorrowfully said as my pupils sank into a sea of sadness, "I just didn't expect to leave so soon-" I sighed, "You're not leaving anyone, We are going to find a way to save you from your sickness." Implied Gale over me almost in anguish.

"Mhm, Let's see what happens." I answered full of doubts.

As we quietly laid on my bed, My Dad came and knocked on the door.

"Come in." I answered still laying face down on the bed, "Hey Zakou, Listen, I'm sorry about earlier-" Apologized Dad, But I quickly spoke over him, "No, It's okay, I was being foolish earlier-" I said, "No, You were not being foolish, Your heart is in the right place, But you can't just try to get involved with someone else's family." He explained with a sigh, "Either way, I actually came to tell you that we have an assassination request." Dad said as he stood in the doorway with his hand on the doorknob, "You up to it?" He added, "Yeah, Gotta have something to do." I implied with a forced smirk.

I jumped out of bed and changed into my assassin inform, It's not really a uniform, But it's what I usually wear when im assigned to an assassination. I wear a long-sleeved black shirt, Dark long pants, Low shoes with no tongue, and dark thin gloves.

I made my way towards Dad's office to get the information I need.

"So where am I headed?" I asked with my hands in my pocket, "Well, the location is at Minato City on Tsunanotebikizaka, 1-chōme-4 Mita street." Said Dad as he checked his laptop, "And who am I looking for?" I asked, "Uhh, The request does not have the name of the person, But he's a male, has dark hair, height around 5"11-6"0, a very decent looking man." Answered Dad as he rubbed his chin, "I'm assuming he's a businessman." I suggested as I took a look at one of Dad's old requests.

"I'm not sure what to tell you, I don't have much information on the assassination, But it's a request from the Government." Said Dad as he glanced at me, "Oh, I see, Well I guess it would be good to get it over with." I insisted as I turned around and took my exit.

As I made my way through the living room my mom stopped me.

"Honey, where are you going?" Asked Mom as she came out of the kitchen with her apron on, "Uh, Mom, you should already know from my clothes." I answered, "Oh my, An assassination request at this time of the night?" She gasped in response, "Mom, Most requests are at night… Who in their right mind requests an assassination in broad daylight?" I sighed in disappointment, "Either way, It's an important request, So I have to get going." I said in a hurry, "Oh well, Good Luck sweetie." She waved as I walked out the front door.

"Ugh, I feel terrible." I said as I shook my head, "Must be because I didn't eat well." I shrugged.

I went out of our front gate and leaped towards an electric pole. I checked to make sure I had everything I needed.

"Blades, painkillers, first aid kit." I mumbled as I Gale peeked over my shoulder, "So this is like your job?" She asked out of curiosity, "Yeah, it's my job, But we normally work with the government for these requests." I answered as I finished checking what I had on me, "Well, Time to go." I sighed as I got up.

I squatted and leaped towards the closest electric pole, trying to avoid using my "Elements" as much as I can. We soon came close to a forest.

"Hmm, I will save time if I go through here." I said as I questioned my decision. I quickly made up my mind and went into it. I leaped from branch to branch making my way closer towards our destination…

"D-Dear, H-Here is your tea." Stuttered Ms. Hayami, "You couldn't have taken any longer." Sighed Misaki's Father.

As he took a sip of his tea, His phone started ringing in his pocket.

"Mr. Tosha." Said the man on the other end of the phone, "Yes, what is it?" Answered Tosha, "We have just found an assassination request towards you, we need you to stay on high alert and maintain your house on lockdown." Explained the man, "We must protect your Daughter at all costs, I know how much you value her." added the man, "Yes, you are right, I guess he is still after me..." Said Tosha as he closed the call and put his phone back into his pocket.

Tosha then made his way towards his security room and put his residence in lockdown, Metal bars came down on the windows, locks were activated on the doors, and Sensors were activated on his house…

I soon came close to my destination, but I stopped to make sure of something.

"H-Huh, Why did we stop?" Asked Gale as she looked around, "Well, I'm just thinking about how I should assassinate this man." I implied with a straight face, "Don't ever say that in front of Misaki with that face." Said Gale as she gave me a weird look, "Let's not talk about her right now. I'm choosing over decapitation or piercing his heart, I can't get to a conclusion." I said as I rubbed my chin.

"You certainly are an assassin… For you to worry about something like that with no facial expression at all explains a lot." She shivered, "Well, Either way, I will make up my mind once we get there." I said as I continued making my way towards the location.

Shortly after we came out of the forest and saw the residence to which we were assigned to.

"Well this man is certainly quite wealthy with all of this security, For some reason, I feel like I've been here before." I said as I sat on a tree branch across from the residence, "Z-Zakou, th-this is-" Stuttered Gale as I stopped her, "Wait a second, No one just has their house on full security at this time of the night, Someone told him about the assassination, I have to get this over with fast." I said as I got up and jumped off of the branch.

Once I got to the ground, I quickly dashed towards the gate jumping over it. Missing all of the sensors in the process. I quickly maneuvered through all of the sensors and cameras of the residence's yard. I soon came face to face with the house and ran up the wall landing on the roof.

"He thought I couldn't get through it, Well think again. The son of the best assassin to ever live is here to assassinate you." I smirked with a sense of pride in mind.

I took my hip blade and disabled the alarm systems on the roof, I carved a circle onto the roof and jumped inside of the vents.

"Assassin Art: Silent Step." I whispered, I naturally know how to walk without making a single sound, But using Silent Step will help out too, Mostly with all of this security.

"Zakou-" Whispered Gale as she stayed close to me, "Not now Gale, This assassination is top priority, and aside from that we have to be quiet, Getting caught will cause endless trouble for my Dad and I." I whispered at Gale as I slowly crawled through the vent.

"Sir, We're gonna need you to evacuate the building, We can't risk you getting harmed. In this case, Assassinated." Said the man on the other end of Tosha's phone.

"Don't worry about me, I'm more than capable of taking care of myself." Responded Tosha through the Phone.

"U-Uh, D-Dear, W-What's going on?" Stuttered Ms. Hayami in fear, "Shut up and stay where you are, There's an assassin in this building, The last thing I want is you causing any trouble." Answered Tosha with no facial expression.

"Damn it, This is why I never stay in this house, If anything-" Tosha thought to himself as he was uneasy about the situation, "What's going on?" Asked Misaki as she walked into the room,

"Nothing Honey, Just go back to your room." Answered Ms. Hayami trying to give her the most assuring smile she could give.

Misaki made her way back to her room where she sat on her bed thinking about what was going on, She didn't question what they were doing. She knew it would cause her and Ms. Hayami trouble with her father. So all she did was sit and wait.

As I made my way through the vents I came to a stop when I started to hear a man's voice.

"Must be down here, Time to make this quick." I sighed.

I unsheathed my blade and quickly but quietly cut an opening into the room and dropped in without a trace.

"Definitely a businessman." I said as I slowly crept up to Tosha and got ready to cut his head off.

Until I realized that what I was about to do, Was gonna stay with me for the rest of my life.

"Ms. Hayami?" I gasped once I realized that she was in the room, I took a few steps back and stood in place without moving.

"Z-Zakou, W-What are you doing here?" She said as she had her hand over her mouth as she was awfully confused.

"No, there has to be something wrong." I was left in shock and confusion, as I had no idea the person I was about to kill, Was Misaki's father.

"So you're the assassin that came to kill me." Tosha got up from his seat as he cracked his knuckles.

"N-No, There has to be a mistake, W-Why would the government assign me to kill you?" I said as I took another few steps back.

"Government or not, You are already here, I'm gonna have to kill you instead." He walked closer towards me.

"I-I don't want to fight you, Please-" I tried avoiding a conflict, But I realized this was my chance to talk to him and knock some sense into him.

"Actually, I have some business with you."
