The others looked up, staring at Riya who was flying, but what made it possible, was the fact that....
"Her wings shrunk??!!"
They all looked at Riya who was flying in the room, with her wings shrunk, though, they were still wide, but not as before.
This was certainly an unexpected turn that none of them expected, after all, they didn't know anything about Riya's wings. If they had known beforehand that she could reduce the span of her wings, then they wouldn't have tried to protect themselves.
"Now, I didn't expect this," Lucy said.
"None of us did," Flora said.
"But, if she's able to reduce the span of her wings, then it'll be more convenient," Lena said.
And on top of that, Riya didn't seem to be affected by reducing the span of her wings, because she was still flying swiftly, without any hassle.
"Even though they're smaller, they're still beautiful," Mirabel muttered, as she stared at Riya's wings, and colourful feathers.
