Celine's nails hitting the table was the only sound in Verne's office at the moment.
She leaned towards Verne and stared at him straight in the eyes.
"You said you'll makes sure everything goes smoothly, right?"
"Yes, but…. I really don't know," Verne said.
At this point, he didn't know what to say anymore.
Orion just hung his head low. As the principal of Vina academy, he was tasked to help Verne but they really didn't do anything because they weren't on good terms.
Right from the very first day they met, they hated each other for their own personal reasons.
'What really happened to the teleportation orbs?' Verne thought.
Celine didn't say anything for some seconds before she suddenly stood up.
"Start preparing for the meeting and don't forget to invite the five of them," Celine said.
Orion mustered the courage to asked the question that was on his mind.
"Lady Celine, you won't be in the meeting?" Orion asked.
