''The class will be partners with their dorm mates and cast spells to control the magic dust. Ledia did the spells perfectly, so she can teach you the spells,'' Professor Lora explained.

Nessia felt excited, ''Okay!'' She walked towards Ledia's table and saw Ledia quietly controlling the magic dust to form different shapes. ''Wow... the professor said you can teach me how to do it!'' Nessia looked at Ledia with twinkling eyes.

Ledia looked at Nessia with annoyance, ''No, do it yourself.'' Nessia couldn't believe what she heard. Why is she so mean?

''If you don't want to teach me, fine! Just lend me some magic dust so I can practise... Please?'' Nessia asked. Ledia put some magic dust on Nessia's hands. Nessia smiled and went to her seat.

''Alright... where's the page about magic dusts?'' Nessia flipped through the pages of the spellcasting textbook. ''Uh huh! Here it is. Magic dust is used for duels or other things. For example, you can use it as a mini bomb in duels or grow the plants quickly, depending on your element. To control magic dust, you'll need to put your hand near the magic dust (but do not touch it) and you'll be able to move the magic dust with your hand movement,'' Nessia read the page.

Nessia put her hand near the magic dust and felt the magic dust responding to her hand and crystal necklace.

She moved her hand up and a few magic dust followed the hand while the rest of the magic dust laid on the table motionless.

The magic dust that followed Nessia's hand emitted a bright light like a sun that it could almost blind a person. ''So this is what it does in duels? This is really useful for distracting my opponents!'' Nessia confidently thought. She thought of the sky and the magic dust turned into a cloud.

''My element really is special,'' Nessia smiled to herself.

''Did you all have fun doing spells involving magic dusts? Guess what, we'll be having a duel before we call it a day!'' Professor Lora spoke in delight. The class cheered and the teacher let every pair duel each other.

Professor Lora snapped her fingers and the classroom changed into a big, battle arena. ''2 versus 2, any objections?'' she asked the class. No answers.

''Alright, on a count of 10... position yourselves!'' the teacher said.

Ledia and Nessia stood infront of 2 boys. One of the boys was the boy that raced with Ledia. ''You?!'' Ledia and that boy shouted.

Nessia became confused. Had they met?

''7... 6...'' Professor Lora continued to countdown.

Nessia held Ledia and assured her. ''Okay... fine...'' Ledia sighed.

''4... 3... 2...'' the teacher prepared to chant the horn spell.

''1...'' she quickly chanted the spell out and loud invisible horns sounded.

There were exploding noises as Ledia used her magic dust portion to throw 'bombs'. Nessia targeted the other boy, named Nick Stem. He was always willing to help somebody.

''Take this!'' Nick shouted and sprinkled some magic dust to create catuses.

Nessia avoided it and made her magic dust shine. Nick covered his eyes to prevent the light from entering the eyes.

Suddenly, fire sparks were seen and created a large fire. ''Hiya!'' Ledia did a large explosion with magic dust and the boy fell to the ground.

Nick quickly ran towards the boy to heal him but was stopped by Nessia, who created a tall, cloud wall.

The boy was later brought to safety by the teacher as Nick dodged all sorts of attacks Nessia and Ledia made.

Magic dust landed on the floor and roots shoot out from the ground, lifting Nick up to the sky.

''I'll avenge Acidos,'' Nick mumbled.

Giant leaves grew out from the roots and went for Ledia first. ''Quick! Use your magic dust to create light blades!'' Ledia called Nessia. She put magic dust on her hands and the light blades appeared.

She used them to cut the roots so Nick could fall and the leaves.

Nick fell from the sky to the arena. Professor Lora caught Nick with a spell and smiled at Nessia and Ledia, ''Good job, girls.''

The class rested from dueling each other and the teacher healed all injured students. ''This is the end of the day. Please head to the cafeteria to eat dinner and go to your dorms. Have a good night rest!'' Professor Lora waved and disappeared.

Nessia walked alone to the cafeteria. She carried a tray of food and sat on a bench. She held her spoon and sipped her tea before digging into her salad that includes mushrooms. (Elementia not only specifies in crystal magic, it also specifies in mushrooms.)

After finishing her meal, she returned the tray and went to her dorm room. She took a bath, changed into her pajamas, brushed her teeth and lied on her bed.

Later, her eyes closed and Nessia went into a deep sleep...
