17. Arrow and Dagger

Ast and Anya returned a bit after a week. As decided Anya asked for a tutor and a tutor was arranged for her. Her training begins early in the morning goes for three hours in their family's garden. Ast always watches her training while sitting near the pavement, now everyone in the household already knows about the deep relationship of Ast and Anya and how they can always be found together.

Ast was still treated more or less the same the only difference was that after sometime all the servants began to notice that Ast's eyes had a hint of pride and keen intelligence and although he likes to keep to himself, his aura had changed due to this nobody spoke ill of him in the household anymore.

Later in the evening Ast and Anya would practice together for hours they usually chose the secluded areas in their huge garden so as to keep Ast's secret. Ast use of daggers was very instinctive and was very good, but his aptitude in archery was average and Anya would teach her and correct his posture all the time. Anya was a genius in Archery and even her tutor praised her a lot, Anya was over the moon with her talent, as for the first time she felt she was helping Ast. But she was surprised that Ast could grab all the things about dagger so quickly even when he was not taking the class directly.

At the end of the week they would make some excuse or other to sneak out and go to their hideout in the forest. They both would diligently study their elements when in the cave. Slowly and gradually their soul was getting stronger. Both of them followed their routine day in and out. They were getting stronger each day their physique was getting better, being tempered by the lightning and their skills were also increasing.

These days Ast would feel someone spying on him from time to time sometimes when they were in the garden or when they would try and sneak out through the garden. And when he tried to catch the culprit off guard he failed several times but he always observes that there was some movement of the wind element, so he was certain that it was not just his misunderstanding and someone was trying to keep tabs on him or both of them.

Ast told Anya about the same and they both decided to be extra careful and always choose secluded area for training. With time Ast's understanding of the light element was also increasing and he was understanding the essence of shadows at a very fast pace, he realised he will soon be able to move towards his next goal in his journey.
