Chapter Twenty-Five

Outside the city, in the middle of nowhere. A house of brick coughing smoke. Surrounded by a crop. And running out of it, a funny woman.

"AAAAHHHHHH!!!! It failed again.. I'm getting tired of that shit..."

"Hey."

"You lost your way, Traitor? What do you want? I've got no business with you.."

"I do. My name's Electra now... I need you to take care of someone."

"Whom? A lost child? An old lady..?"

"A best friend...."

Wednesday 29th..[9 Years 6 Months Before E.V.O.L]

It took time to plan this siege, and hell it went well. Electra is now the Heart of the city. And I am its Brain. My name is Karin Jones and I am Electra's fiancee.

"The Mayor!!Thanks-for-visiting-I'm-a-bit-occupied-right-now-You-want-a-coffee?-Sara-bring-the-mayor-a-coffee..-Is-your-boy-okay-mayor?-Sorry-to-break-the-surprise-He's-going-to-experience-a-hit-and-run.."

"Actually, I wanted to request a meeting with Electra. It's been months and the Mayor Department is still waiting to meet her. Do we have any chance??"

"Yes!! You should have come to me sooner. Electra listens to me only.. I'll make the call, right away. Bye, Mayor..."

"Karin. Will my son??"

"The future changed, don't worry. He's good."

"Okay.."

Karin Jones. She owns Down City. And her Electra is her stronghold. A few months back, she planned a sort of coup d'état and won Down City. This city came to love her doing. But not all of us.. And we are called, 'Mayor Department'.

"Christine, Karin just called. Electra is on her way here. The guys are ready. Do I stay with you?"

"Yes, I'm so nervous.."

"Christine, you are the mayor. It's her who should be nervous."

"Should I?"

"Electra!!"

"I know my name. So, you are the mayor of this city. Hi.. I'm Electra. Karin told me everything. What can I do for you?? I'm free till dawn."

"A conference. To talk with the people."

"And you needed soldiers to decide on that... Weird."

"How?!"

"Like I said, Karin told me everything. You want to take me down. So that Karin can lose her strongest ally. You want to save this city from us, but the city's never been so calm and joyful. But sure, Conference is good. When do we start?"

Cold. Emotionless. Vivid. That is Electra. She took down both hero and villain. She may have saved this city, but I don't want to know when she's gonna turn heel. If that day happens, then, Down City will disappear from the map.
