[Chapter 21] Foxes V/s Wolves Part 11 ~ Yulius Makes Her Move

[South Korea, Wolves Headquarters]

[Midnight 12:22 am]

[Attack Commence on the Wolves]

...

Kyro got up, his teeth seething in anger at Zef's last attack.

Kyro: "An unworthy weakling like you managed to land a hit on me! How dare you?!"

He shouted in rage, approaching Zef's fallen body quickly.

Kyro: "I had enough of this! I'll end you right now!"

Immediately, his right-hand nails grew out, sharpened like a knife as his aura coated his entire arm, taking shape of a sharp steel beam. Just instead of steel, it was layered with flames that had a dark reddish color, signifying how hot his flames were. When he was within range to land his attack, he went for it.

Zef didn't move. Not one bit. He knew he finished his mission and all that is left, is for his master to take action. So, in the face of danger, even when his life flashed before his eyes, he stared calmly at Kyro's incoming attack, not blinking once. Not moving once.

Kyro expected his attack to end Zefron.

But just when it was about to make contact with his head, it was stopped. Stopped by a gentle yet firmed right hand. Immediately, his guard went up before he backed away many meters as he looked at the unknown assailant.

Automatically assuming that this person standing in front of him was Zefron's new master.

They were decked out in thin black clothing that seemed like it could just tear from just a simple touch. They had a hood up so he couldn't see their face but dimly, he could see a flash a blue. Not just any blue, but a diamond-like blue.

'Their eyes are beautiful.'

Not only he thought so, but many others who witness their jeweled blue eyes. But as breathtaking as it was, he couldn't let his guard down. Especially when his entire body screamed danger.

Kyro: "It's an honor to meet Zefron's master."

He said respectfully. Truly, in the face of power, even arrogant pricks know how to kiss a*s. Then again, the entire world is all about kissing a*s. Money and strength means power which is why many crave for it. Moreover, it's hard to survive overall without kissing a*s.

As unfortunate as it is for many, that's just how the world works. All the more reason why the Seo's twin rushed to gain such thing. To prepare themselves for what is to come in the near future as it is all going to revolve around their beloved oppa, Jiwoo.

Kyro: "If I may?"

He questioned if he may proceed with what thoughts he gathered to save his butt from total annihilation. Yulius stayed there, not moving an inch. Not even responding to his irrelevant thoughts as her main focus was her injured subordinate, Zef who laid unmoving.

'They won't get angry because of what I did to him!?'

He thought worriedly. But seeing as they didn't intervene in the first place, assuming that they were even watching their battle the entire time led Kyro believe he was in the safe zone for now. Additionally, their attention seemed to only be on the paralyzed male on the ground.

This ticked him off slightly. Why was someone as weak as Kitsune capable of consuming strong awakener's attention when it should be his, rightfully. It was clearly shown in his match where he beat him to pulps. All eyes should be on him and only him. That is what he concluded from a young age. He should be the center of all attention, not some nobody like Kitsune.

How shameless of him to think so. When he's in his mid 40's while Zefron is in his late 20's. He has more experience, strength, speed, etc. Altogether, he should've bested Zefron fairly easy. And yet, Zef was able to land a single hit on him. If he wanted to hurt or kill Kyro in any way, shape or form, he could've done.

Yet even as Kyro realizes this, he allows his arrogance to reign above all. Ignoring his faults that could lead to his imminent death all because he wants to show people their place. But what's the point of showing one's place when that can lead to your death.

It's so stupid.

Beyond stupid.

Yulius thought all these meaningless things while turning her back against her enemy to observe Zef's injuries further. Seeing her back turn, Kyro couldn't help but want to attack them. He saw it as an opening, but he also can't help but feel like the unknown awakener was trying to bait him.

However, the Seo had no intention of doing so as she didn't care, more focused on Zef than a nobody, she let the fox patriarch continue to overthink his situation. Moreover, even if he did attack her, his body will go Ka-Boom! Exploding into a billion pieces.

As much as she is begging herself to do that, she must follow through with the plan. If she kills him now and easily at that, everyone in the room but Zefron and her sister will fear her. That's something she doesn't want as it makes it harder for them to cooperate with her.

Scratch that, it will be easy, but they'll fear her, and she doesn't want them to feel pressure into doing things because their lives are at risk if they disobey her. She is not a tyrant like Kyro, and apparently many others.

And forcing people to do her bidding is definitely not her style. At most, she'll blackmail her sister to do such things. But not people she's trying to gain their trust in order to recruit them into her organization.

With ripping this disgusting piece of sh*t out of the way, she'll have to settle with Plan B. Beating the fox patriarch to pulps and thus, demonstrating her immense strength. Clearly superior to Kyro who beat Shiro and many others.

Therefore, many will view Eminence as a strong organization that can provide not only strength but protection for each and every one of them. But before that, she must heal the damage boy before starting the massacre. Starting with Kyro of course.

Yulius placed her palm over Zefron's stomach as she applied RCT. Slowly but surely, all his injuries, starting from his burns, then bruises, and finally scratches, healed as if they weren't even there in the first place.

All observers couldn't help but be astonished at such a scene. Like a miracle just occurred. One you don't see often or ever for that matter. Moreover, you can't just unsee a once in the lifetime sight that just happened in front of their very eyes.

To heal someone back to full health within seconds is something unheard of. Even experienced healers don't have those capabilities. Many would argue someone like Kartein could probably do so while some would argue against it. Even someone like him is unable to heal someone in just mere seconds without being out of breath.

Then again, not many, or any, has ever witnessed Kartein healing anyone as he's too prideful to listen to other's request of him. It's fairly widely known that he wouldn't heal someone even if they were dying in front of him. In fact, he would probably kick the injured person, adding on to his injures, saying he's in his way. Such occurrence is something you shouldn't expect less of him.

That's why many gave up, seeking for his healing abilities as it will only get them nowhere. No high amount of sum or loyalty an organization can grant him will spark his interest. Rumors surfing around made sure of it and did their job well.

As a result of his indifference, many seek revenge against him for 1, not listening to their demands and healing their chosen awakener, 2 defending himself when many tried to forcefully take him against his own will, 3 for kicking someone out of his way because they wouldn't move even when he warned them of what would happen to them if they didn't. There's obviously many more reason as to why he has a buck load of enemies, but you get the point.

They only want his healing abilities and apparently defending yourself against them when they attack you is illegal and warren of death all because he didn't want to heal someone. When all due respect, it's his power. Meaning he gets to dictate what he wants to do with what's his and what he had since birth, not others.

It's incriminating to force someone to do things just because they had something you don't have but require. Thinking this, Yulius can't help but feel bad. People only seeing you for your powers but not as a person, truly sucks. How alone he must've been and felt.

It's reliving to know that her brother in the future gives him a safe place to be himself. An escape from all the pressure he must face due to his awakened ability, to meet all their expectations and demands.

Personally, both she and her sister can agree that that crap is hella annoying. Heck, Chelsea would add that to a listen of reason as to why she should just blow up the entire world. Seriously, she has one because she's a psychopath. Luckily for them, they have a sane Seo who knows how to put her psychotic twin in her place. Giving her good, detailed reasons that counter her claims.

But personally, if someone expect that of her, she'll let her sister run hay wire and kill them all. That way, she'll have no enemies and those who do come up as another one of her many enemies, she'll get rid of them too. This will scare people into not seeking her and her sister out for the abilities.

Yet as much as that plan seems satisfactory, many like Kayden Break have done did such plans and that got them nowhere, no surprise really as there's more than 6 billion people in the world. You kill an enemy, 10 more pops up. And the cycle just repeats. It's not like he or many others can kill all 6 billion people.

The Seo twins most certainly can, but will they?

No.

Not really.

Well Chelsea, probably.

But Yulius will stop her.

Just before she causes human extinction.

But nothing but a little reversing time can't fix.

Good for them...

Really, good for them.

Seriously can't image human on the brink of extinction.

Anyways, that's one of the main reasons as to why the Seo sisters decided to have fake identities. Awakeners will expect things from Eminence's chairwomen, Yuna and Celestial, but not Yulius and Chelsea. Moreover, their secret identities serve as a way to protect those related to them safe.

It's easy to trace or follow other awakeners undetected, and assassination isn't out of the option either. Furthermore, who would suspect 6-year-olds of being Eminence's chairwomen. No one. No one would as that nothing more but plain insanity. You must not be right in the head to think 2 minors are capable enough to be the sole cause of hundreds of deaths while also ruling a powerful organization with grace.

Yeah, no shot.

But looks can be deceiving.

And Yulius and Chelsea read this entire world like a book. Knowing the entire thing back-to-back, from beginning to end. There's no saying what chaos those two can come up with, with the knowledge of the future they hold.

Nevertheless, they have to be careful. They're existence itself can already cause many butterfly effects. And it's only going to increase in the near future with the many mischievous things they have plan in store for the entirety of the awakened world.

Unfortunately, like other main protagonists, they start at rock bottom where they have no power at all as they're in the beginning stage where they're developing. But once Eminence is strong enough, which is far from soon, yet so close, they'll be more than ready to face on the entire world.

No, literally.

It's them against the world.

They really will face the entire world.

As she thinks all this, Yulius finished healing Zef fully within minutes before turning around to face the uneasy fox patriarch who stands there awkwardly like many others.

Yulius: "Hm."

She hums in a thinking manner, knocking many out of their stupor as they stared cautiously at the unknown individual who has exceptional healing abilities that rivals the Great Kartein. It was then Yulius made up her mind to get this over with but before she could voice her thoughts, Zef's voice interrupted her.

Zef: "Master?"

Yulius: "Hm? How are you feeling?"

Zef: "Better, it doesn't hurt anymore."

Yulius: "That's good. Rest up though, this will be over in a flash."

Zef: "I know, but I still want to watch. May I?"

He asked, though he'll listen to whatever his master asked of him, even sleeping because his master told him to rest.

Yulius: "Hm, do as you please."

Zefron couldn't help but grin happily at her response. She truly is a kind master. He just knew he made the right choice to follow such a person.

And before he knew it, his body moved on its own as he sat up, sitting straight as he stood behind her, facing Kyro who is still shell-shocked at Zef's recovery.

Yulius: "Herm, shall we start?"

Her cough knocked him out of his stupor like many others.

Kyro: "I beg your pardon?"

He questioned desperately. He really didn't want to fight her, even if she seemed weak, his instinct told him otherwise which was why he wanted to avoid fighting her as much as possible. But seeing his current situation, such avoidance is impossible, many concluded.

Yulius: "You hurt my subordinate. I intend to pay you back ten-folds for the harm you caused him."

Kyro: "Surely there's another solution to this matter. Besides, you healed him back to good health. So..."

He begs miserably, showing his pathetic self to the others who witness their patriarch doing his best to talk his way out of a battle.

'So, it's true he ran from battles?'

'Such a coward is my patriarch?'

'Does he have no shame?'

'Utterly pathetic!'

They all thought. Even though they felt immense danger when their senses focused on Yulius, they didn't have the courage to admit their fear for her out loud. Hypocritical if you ask me. To expect their patriarch to fight a losing battle even if they themselves are not confident enough to win it.

Which was why Eminence having no place for them. So, it shouldn't come to a surprise to any of them if either of the twin took out the trash.

Yulius: "Enough of this!"

She copied perfectly, clearly imitating Kyro's arrogance when he challenged Kitsune to a battle.

Yulius: "Let's fight!"

Scaring Kyro more than he already was, as he knew this will only end with his death and that there was no bargaining his way out of this mess. It looks like all his past evil deeds are finally catching up to him.

It's time for karma to strike back!
