[86] "Crucial decisions"

[Meeting Room]

In a spacious room, an imposing rectangular table was located in the center. To the right of the table sat Suhan, Miyoung and Chul, while in front of them sat Park, Seongha and Giwook.

A stony silence enveloped the room, as everyone awaited the arrival of a very important person.

Suddenly, the door opened and Han Seongik appeared.

Instantly, those present rose and bowed, greeting the newcomer with respect and reverence. "Mr. Director," they uttered in unison.

Han Seongik flashed an affable smile and kindly pronounced. "Don't worry, have a seat. We have important matters to discuss."

The faces of those present transformed, taking on a serious expression as they took their respective chairs. They fixed their gazes on Han Seongik, waiting for his words.

Han Seongik took his seat and began to speak. "As you may infer, something has happened in this academy that could affect all of us if we don't keep it a secret and act cautiously."

"The presence of Kayden and Ares in our country, as well as the murder of Dusik at their hands, could trigger a war. In the wake of these events, I understand that you now understand more clearly the strength of these individuals," he added earnestly.

Everyone nodded in agreement, and Han Seongik continued. "I wish that the information of what happened would not be leaked and that we will work out a plan to keep it a secret. As you know, Kayden and Ares have left us a threat. However, it is in our best interest that such information not be divulged."

"Mr. Han, I don't think anyone would dare reveal what is going on here. We all understand that doing so would endanger our organization," Inhyuk expressed with conviction.

Han Seongik crossed his legs and placed his hands on his knee, speaking calmly. "We know that there are people willing to do anything to gain power. That's why it's crucial that the knowledge of what happened is kept in a small circle."

"Don't worry, we will see to it that nothing leaks out," Seongha said, while Giwook and Inhyuk nodded in confirmation.

"As you well know, we had a closer relationship with Jiwoo at the academy, so our heads are in more danger than his," Giwook mentioned in a calm but nervous tone.

Han Seongik understood and turned his gaze to the other teachers. "Miyoung and Chul, what is your opinion on this?" he asked.

"I agree," Miyoung quickly replied.

"Me too," Chul added promptly.

"Perfect," stated Han Seongik with a nod. "Jiwoo is not a problem per se, but his relationship with these people could become one. We must be careful how we relate to them."

Everyone understood, they agreed based on previous interactions some teachers had had with Jiwoo, and they knew their personalities.

"There is something else," Han Seongik continued. "As you know, they felt that Baekdu publicly attacked them by getting involved with Jiwoo. There are many awakened ones willing to do anything to curry favor with one of them."

The expressions of those present changed, showing seriousness and shock.

"Mr. Han, you mean...?" asked Inhyuk with concern.

"It is possible that, if it becomes known, many awakened ones will come here and our country will become a war zone," Han Seongik interrupted, anticipating Inhyuk's question.

The atmosphere became desolate, with faces full of fear and worry.

Han Seongik stood up from his chair and uttered words that eased the gloomy atmosphere. "You shouldn't worry, if it doesn't leak nothing will happen."

Just as Han Seongik opened the door and was about to leave the room, he turned around, flashing a smile while scratching his head and said. "I forgot to let you know that the academy will suspend its activities until the infrastructure is fully recovered."

After those words, Han Seongik walked out and closed the door.

Those present were left deep in their own thoughts, analyzing everything that had happened in this short time at the academy.

Inhyuk got up and Giwook and Seongha followed him. They said goodbye to Suhan, Miyoung and Chul before leaving the room, leaving them alone.

Suhan, Miyoung and Chul engaged in conversation for a while.

On the same day, Giwook, Inhyuk and Seongha summoned the non-members and Giwook informed them that the academy activities were suspended early due to the recent events.

He informed them that they would be taken back to their homes and that academy activities would resume when the facilities returned to their usual state.

He also assured that non-members would receive better treatment in future meetings.

During the course of the day, Jiwoo made the decision to spend time with the unaffiliated youth, making the most of his last day there.

As Ares and Kayden conversed, they engaged in a deep discussion, posing different hypotheses and thoroughly analyzing what happened with Kayden's forced transformation into a cat. They both carefully examined the severity of Kayden's injuries.

[The next day]

Jiwoo gets out of the minivan and very affectionately says goodbye to everyone.

When he opens the door of his house Jiwoo is quickly greeted by the warm welcome of his cats.

On the other hand, Ares and Kayden smile at Jiwoo's happiness and look at each other simultaneously.

In the dining room of Jiwoo's house, Ares and Kayden, in their cat forms, were discussing animatedly while Jiwoo slept beside him, circling his force control.

Kayden shifted restlessly, looking for a comfortable position, and finally asked. "Do you have a training plan for Jiwoo yet?"

Ares, with a devilish grin, replied. "Yes, I'll go get training implements for Jiwoo from headquarters and tomorrow, first thing in the morning, we'll start his hellish training."

Kayden joined in the mischievous laughter and added. "Right now, what Jiwoo needs is to improve the efficiency of his powers. Even if his awakened powers aren't on the level of other youngsters his age, the way he uses them is on another level."

"We need to make the most of Jiwoo's unique qualities," Kayden commented.

Ares nodded enthusiastically and added, "Exactly, his enhanced vision, thanks to his super speed ability, is far above that of others."

Kayden confirmed Ares' words and expressed. "The training plan you formulated must be complete and, with time and consistency, it will make a difference. I need to analyze it and improve it."

"When I go to get the implements, make sure you improve the training plan. You have more experience than I do in this field," Ares said.

The two cats continued their conversation, discussing strategies and fine-tuning the details of the training plan to make sure Jiwoo could reach his full potential. Their goal was to help Jiwoo reach an even higher level of skill and control in the use of his powers, strengthening his confidence and abilities in the process.
