[81] "Days later"

In his office, Han Seongik was sitting cross-legged in front of a large glass panel, he observed a young man in a suit standing in front of him

"So, are you telling me that Wooin and Jiwoo attend the same school and were only discovered 6 months ago after mysteriously appearing?" asked Han Seongik.

"Yes, sir. That's what we found out these days, their profiles and inner circles match the data provided by Shinhwa and the Union," the young man reported.

"Wooin had a teacher who trained him since he was a child, and we assume that Jiwoo had a similar experience," the young man added.

"Well, that's it. You are dismissed," Han Seongik said.

The young man bowed and walked out of the office.

Han Seongik turned his chair around and was lost in thought. 'The potential shown by Wooin is incredible, it was obvious that he has a master,' he reflected.

'And Jiwoo... in his battle, his combat form didn't resemble Ares', and apparently he didn't get Light powers either. Instead, he got his speed and electricity, and his behavior and attitude remind me more of Kayden than Ares,' Han Seongik thought.

'Is it possible that Kayden is also involved with this guy,' Han Seongik wondered.

'That doesn't matter, what really worries me is that it is certain that Shinhwa interacted with Ares, and we don't know if The Union did as well. "To leave a little message. It's better to show what could happen if something happens to Jiwoo," Ares replied casually.

"You didn't even use your power. Your visit a few months ago got them pretty worried, apparently," Kayden added.

"Obvious, they know they don't have the strength to stop me," Ares said confidently.

"That's true," agreed Kayden.

"What do we do in the future?" asked Ares.

"Do we let Jiwoo go his own way or do we take him there?" added Ares.

Kayden thought for a moment before speaking. "It's better if he stays here. This country is quite particular and can keep Jiwoo growing comfortably. If it is necessary for him to increase his power quickly, we can go there."

Ares nodded his head as he listened. "I agree," he said. "It is quite possible that the disciples of the Illuminati members will have an interest in Jiwoo. I think it will be a great experience for him when he goes to explore the world."

"Yes, those young people have decent talent, they were transformed by awakened ones who grew up bathed in blood and possess great experience. Jiwoo may be able to evolve a lot in that environment," Kayden said approvingly.

"You still don't want to join?", asked Ares.

Kayden smiled and said. "No, I'm used to being alone. Besides, you created that place based on your experiences with those awakened ones and I don't know them much."

"Besides, we're still master and disciple, so we're on the same side," Kayden added smiling.

"True, but I'm still concerned about your current state," Ares said.

Kayden kept silent and his face became serious. "I'm recovering slowly, but steadily. However, the healing factor is not having much effect on my recovery. My internal injuries are much more severe than I thought," he explained.

Ares raised an eyebrow and sighed. "Who in their right mind takes on three top ten desperados at the same time and doesn't run away, but stays and trades attacks?" he asked.

"You said it, who in their right mind would, Only you and I are the only ones who would do something like that, but I made sure he doesn't show up without paying a price," Kayden said with murderous intent on his face.

Ares was surprised and said. "You wounded them?"

Kayden nodded. "I don't think they're very serious injuries, but it should give them enough time to focus on themselves," he said.

"I can't believe you actually managed to wound three awakened from the top ten," Ares said.

Kayden smiled quietly.

"I'll try to find a way to speed up your recovery. With my research, I might be able to find something that will help you, although I don't know how damaged your body is inside," Ares said.

"Try not to use too much energy at the moment, so that your body gets used to going slowly and you can store more," Ares advised.

A few days later, Jiwoo woke up in his bed with a smile on his face as he realized that Ares had returned, the room was flooded with sunlight streaming in through the window.

As Jiwooo chatted with Kayden and Ares about his training, the latter two were already coming up with a training plan for him that they could implement when they returned home.

However, their conversation was interrupted by a group of unaffiliated youths who were concerned about Jiwooo, after having enjoyed a pleasant chat.

At that very moment, the teachers were discussing the events with Jiwoo and Wooin's potential mentors. During the discussion, each instructor took a position, but in the end came to the conclusion that there was no problem with the two youngsters.

The next day, Inhyuk and Giwool go to Jiwoo's to talk about the new benefits the unaffiliated would have and to discuss the fight he had had against Sucheon.

Later that afternoon, the instructors met and tested Jiwoo's communication skills with the animals.

Kayden underwent a series of tests and tried not to stand out too much, but Siyeong doubted Jiwoo's abilities and tried to discredit and intimidate both Kayden and Jiwoo. Despite the refusal of the other instructors, Siyeong persists in his idea until they finally gave in and let him fight Kayden.

Kayden glared at Siyeong, who showed an arrogant and malicious expression. Siyeong's attitude made Kayden feel a strong sense of anger as not even world rankers dare to look at him like that, which led him to give him an incredible beating, leaving his face bruised and bleeding as he lay on the ground.

The scene that unfolded in front of their eyes was so shocking that it stunned them all.
