[142] "First days"

[The next day]

[Jiwoo's room]

Jiwoo, dressed in a black sports jacket with red trim, black sports pants, and sneakers, felt the blue aura that surrounded him slowly disappear. He took a deep breath and looked at the clock before muttering to himself. "They should come for me in a few minutes."

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, and Jiwoo thought. 'They shouldn't have come so soon.'

Jiwoo opened the door and met Leah, who was standing with her hands behind her back and a calm demeanor.

"Leah," Jiwoo said, surprised by her visit.

Leah smiled and began to explain. "Last night we had a meeting with all the members of the top 10 of this academy. I am here to inform you about something of great importance."

Jiwoo was surprised and asked. "Are you a member of the top 10?"

Leah was surprised by the question and responded. "Yeah".

"Wow... I didn't know, the truth is that I don't know anything about this institution, but... ah, please come in, so we can talk more comfortably," Jiwoo said, inviting Leah to enter.

Leah walked in and noticed three cats curled up on the bed. She took a seat in one of the individual chairs, while Jiwoo sat in the other.

"I'm lucky you came, I just wanted to ask you something," Jiwoo commented.

"Oh, sure, ask me first, and then I'll tell you what I wanted to tell you," Leah replied.

"I would like to know how to go about challenging someone," Jiwoo said.

Leah frowned and asked. "Do you plan to challenge someone in the top 10?"

"Yes, but I don't know the vast majority of them. I only know the names of some members of the top 10, so I want you to help me," Jiwoo commented.

Leah frowned, and his expression turned serious as he responded. "I have bad news, you won't be able to fight soon."

Jiwoo frowned and asked. "Because?"

"We came to an agreement that for the next three days, no one can fight anyone. You'll only be able to leave a formal challenge to let the other person know," Leah explained.

"Didn't you invite me to fight you? Why did you decide to do that?" Jiwoo asked, surprised.

Leah apologized to Jiwoo and then responded, trying to find the right words. "Well..." she pondered for a moment, but she failed to find a satisfactory answer, causing an awkward silence to take over the room.

Jiwoo sighed heavily and said, resigned. "I guess everyone has their own reasons for making that decision."

Leah nodded, and Jiwoo continued, interest in his voice. "I understand that within the Top 10 there are two members named Elay Pigarun and Glant Gesimov."

Leah nodded and confirmed. "Yes, they are both awakened who are among the top ten of this academy. Are you thinking of challenging one of them?"

Jiwoo shook his head and declared with determination. "I want to challenge both of them, let them decide who faces me first."

Leah looked surprised and asked in disbelief. "You're sure?"

Jiwoo smiled and stated confidently. "I'm sure."

Leah was silent for a long time before answering. "Okay, I'll pass on your challenge to them and let you know what their response is," she finally said.

The door rang again, and Jiwoo opened it to reveal Gangseok, Sucheon, Subin, Jisuk, and Wooin. They entered the room immediately, where Jiwoo welcomed them with a smile and closed the door behind them.

The five of them were surprised to see Leah in the room.

Leah stood up and announced. "We'll talk later. I'll let you know what they answer," before she left the room.

Jisuk looked at Jiwoo and asked curiously. "Why is she here?"

Jiwoo smiled and replied, "He came to give me some important information." He then continued, "She told me that the members of the Top 10 met and agreed that there would be no fights for three days."

The boys were surprised at the news, and Jiwoo added. "But they can still be challenged, so I asked him to let them know that I challenge them."

Subin was amazed and asked with interest. "Are you going to fight? Who?"

Jiwoo scratched his head and replied nonchalantly. "I don't know, maybe against someone named Glant or Elay."

Jiwoo's nonchalance left everyone surprised once again.

While touring the academy alone, Subin became involved in a small confrontation with Jessica, but Leah intervened and stopped the fight. Ultimately, they decided to have both fights take place at the same time as Jiwoo's.

Jiwoo was sitting on the bed, and in the room, there were Kayden, Kartein and Ares, all relaxing.

Kayden smiled evilly and responded. "I'm sure they're terrified."

Kartein gave a small smile and added. "They have their tails between their legs."

Jiwoo sighed and responded. "Well, I want to have a general idea about them, it's more fun when I don't know what I'm up against."

Kartein turned his head in disagreement with Jiwoo's words.

Meanwhile, Kayden and Ares laughed proudly and began to tell Jiwoo about the combat style of his upcoming opponents.

During the night, he continued with his training, perfecting his strength control.

Jiwoo walked through the campus, his hands buried deep in the pockets of his pants, while the students around him watched him silently, exchanging whispers and glances.

Jiwoo ignored the students surrounding him, but suddenly, a thunderous scream caught his attention. When he turned around, he saw the young man he had previously faced running towards him with a crazed expression, ready to launch an attack.

Jiwoo, with his keen perception, noticed that the guards seemed reluctant to intervene. Quickly, he vanished and dodged the young man's attack.

With a gloomy expression on his face, Jiwoo remembered Ares's words. "You will have to demonstrate your power on more than one occasion. The young people will provoke you, and they may not respect what they asked you to respect."

Jiwoo turned a serious look towards John and asked with obvious displeasure. "What's going on here?"

John smiled and responded. "What does it mean?" As he did so, a dark green aura enveloped him completely.

Jiwoo glanced at the guards, who still showed no signs of intervening in the situation. His face darkened, and he was filled with anger while voices echoed in his mind.

{Do it}, Ares said firmly.

{Don't hesitate} Kayden added determinedly.

Jiwoo nodded silently, determined to act.

John launched an attack towards Jiwoo, who, taking advantage of his amazing super speed and enveloped in an aura of electricity, pierced the attack in a flash, scattering it into the air. In the blink of an eye, Jiwoo stood in front of John at incredible speed, his electricity-charged first impacting with force.

A powerful shock wave of electricity and wind spread in all directions, causing John to be thrown violently and fall, charred by the electricity, a considerable distance.

Jiwoo stood tall with determination and fixed his gaze on the eyes of every student present, his voice resounding with authority as he asked. "Who is the next one?" However, before anyone could respond, a blue aura enveloped him and spread around him, warning everyone. "I won't be as merciful as the first time."

An awkward silence fell over the place, and none of the students dared to take a step forward. Jiwoo turned around and walked away from the place without looking back, leaving a tense atmosphere in his wake.

Jiwoo continued on his way, now completely alone, with no one around him.

Inside Jiwoo's mind, the voices of Ares, Kartein, and Kayden manifested.

{Well done, my classes were useful to you}, Ares said with a proud voice.

Kartein shook his head in disagreement and said. {Don't you know what trouble they caused because of this?}

{I don't care, if you dare do something and I will completely destroy the entire world academy}, Kayden said coldly.

{Jiwoo, you did well. "I know you don't feel comfortable having this attitude, but this way you will make others fear and respect you," Kayden added.

Jiwoo nodded silently and squeezed his fist, then continued walking with determination.

As he continued on his way, almost reaching his room, Jiwoo ran into Wooin, Subin, and Jisuk, who had quickly arrived upon hearing about his fight. After explaining to them what happened, Jiwoo found it necessary to stop them, since they were determined to go fight.

Leah was sitting at her desk, carefully reviewing some papers, while Jiwoo entertained herself with his cell phone in a comfortable chair nearby.

An hour passed and Jiwoo finally couldn't hold it in anymore. He got up from the couch and asked. "How long will I have to stay here?"

Leah stopped looking through the papers and looked at Jiwoo seriously before answering. "Until you stop causing trouble."

Jiwoo responded naively. "But I haven't done anything."

Leah, with a grim face, stood up from her seat and declared. "You may consider it that way, but your defiance is already public knowledge, and it has not been well received by the students of this academy. Furthermore, your fighting without regard for the consequences has angered everyone here."

Jiwoo scratched his head and tried to divert attention by saying. "I was just defending myself."

Leah sighed and said. "Okay, you can go, but... please, if you decide to go out, call me to accompany you or at least don't go alone."

Jiwoo frowned and replied. "Okay…" As Jiwoo turned to leave, Leah interrupted him with some important news. "Today at 12 midnight the decree ends, so tomorrow at noon your challenge against Glant will take place."

Jiwoo nodded and looked at Leah as he responded. "So I will fight Glant tomorrow."

Leah nodded and added. "It will be at noon."

"Well, thanks for the information," Jiwoo responded gratefully and walked away, while Leah watched him walk away.

[Next day]

The academy lies silent, with no students in sight, only numerous guarding the premises.

The coliseum is packed with students, the stands packed with eager spectators. In a prominent box, there are several teachers, the Vice-principal and the Director of the academy. Seongha and Inhyuk watch carefully from the same box, their eyes fixed on the center of the coliseum, where Subin stands in front of Jessica, prepared for the confrontation that is about to begin.

The Vice-director applauded, and immediately a spatial isolation was generated between Subin and Jessica, expanding rapidly and covering the entire coliseum.

"Begin!" announced the Vice-Principal, giving the initial whistle to begin the fight.

The match was remarkably brief, much shorter than most people in the coliseum expected. Jessica, with great confidence, launched the attack against Subin, but the latter dominated her in all aspects of the confrontation. Subin demonstrated overwhelming superiority, going so far as to crush Jessica without her being able to even touch her or leave a mark on her opponent.

The students watching were shocked by the impressive strength exhibited by Subin in defeating Jessica, who is one of the strongest students in the academy.

Meanwhile, the members of the top 10 remained unfazed, showing no emotion about what had happened, as they waited for the start of the next match.
