[131] "James Myers v/s Sucheon Kang"

"Headmaster," the teachers uttered in unison.

Han Seongik observed them solemnly before approaching and standing next to Subin and Jisuk.

"You may begin whenever you wish," Han Seongik commented.

James exchanged glances with Sucheon and asked, "Shall we make a brief introduction? I assume you don't know our names, the same way we don't know about you."

Sucheon frowned and replied, "I am Sucheon Kang and represented Baekdu. And you?"

James nodded and said, "My name is James Myers and I also represent Illuminati."

Garrith frowned at the last name and thought, 'Is he any relation to Harold Myers?'

Han Seongik raised an eyebrow, and the other teachers also muttered 'Myers' in their minds.

James and Sucheon turned, keeping some distance.

James smirked, and a burst of energy emanated from his power.

Sucheon reacted by raising his hand, firing a gravity beam that slammed into James' attack.

James' body glowed with a silver aura and blue hues, as a bubble formed between his hands that rose and merged with the battlefield.

Sucheon frowned as he noticed the difficulty in circulating his force control. He looked up at James and smiled, thinking, 'We'll see what you're made of...'

A dark purple aura burst from Sucheon's body, spreading outward.

(Gravity Field)

The atmosphere was suffused with purple hues, and the intensity of gravity in the area increased.

Sucheon sported a mischievous grin as he sensed the difficulty in his control of the force dissipate completely.

"That's it?" said Sucheon arrogantly.

James smiled coldly and replied, "Not bad.... I suppose you've been employing these days to seek countermeasures against my power, but now I know you possess gravity abilities."

A cloak surrounded James' body, dispelling the sensation of weight.

He created five bubbles in front of him and, with a gesture, launched them towards Sucheon. The latter also grinned and sent five gravity blasts in response.

The two engaged in a frantic exchange of blows, resulting in explosions and destruction in their immediate vicinity. As a result, both ended up with minor injuries and cuts on their bodies.

James' aura intensified, and he launched a terrifying bolt of his power. Sucheon responded with a blast of gravity.

James raised a silver shield, and just as the two attacks were about to collide, a bubble enveloped Sucheon's attack. This sent Sucheon's attack through James' attack.

The unexpected maneuver puzzled Sucheon, who instinctively raised his hands toward the incoming projectile, erecting a defensive barrier. However, in a sudden twist, another bubble enveloped him, transforming his protection into a translucent membrane. Despite his efforts to strengthen it, the shield's power was slipping through his fingers.

Sucheon's attack slammed into James' shield, creating a powerful explosion.

On the other side, another large explosion erupted, and after a few moments, Sucheon was revealed with his body badly wounded and dripping blood.

James also had minor injuries.

With icy eyes, Sucheon ascended with a slow cadence, as the force of gravity experienced a drastic increase. With a simple wave of his hands, a terrifying aura rose around him, enveloping him completely in the vast canvas of the sky.

On the ground, James sensed danger and quickly backed away. Right at the point where he stood before, a tiny black sphere emerged and began to slowly swallow everything in its path, increasing in size at a slow speed.

"(Black Hole)," Sucheon muttered fiendishly as he thought, 'This is the trump card that is only passed down to Baekdu leaders.'

James smiles as he watches the hole, the size of a tennis ball, slowly attract objects around it, increasing in size proportionally to its attraction. After several minutes of James allowing the hole to grow even larger, he is surprised to feel the attraction increase until it becomes irresistible. He struggles with all his might to free himself, but is inexorably swallowed by Sucheon's technique.

A heavy silence fell over the arena.

Arthur, Cain, Suke, Andrea, along with all the WAA members, were shocked at the situation.

Subin, Giwook, Miyoung and the other KAA members were amazed at the power exhibited by Sucheon.

Samantha smiled and commented. "James is going to have to take this seriously, she was wrong to be so casual about his technique."

Teresa and Emily nodded, their faces showing some seriousness in contrast to Samantha's calmness.

"HAHAHAHAHA!" laughed Sucheon, then, with another wave of his hand, he altered the aura around the black hole and exclaimed, "Die."

A huge explosion was unleashed with a shocking shockwave.

Observing the situation, Inhyuk, Suhan and the other teachers rushed to protect the students.

Meanwhile, Lisa used her power to protect Teresa, Samantha and Emily, who watched the confrontation with attention.

After the dust cleared and calm returned, Sucheon, high in the sky, surveyed the place devastated by his attack.

To everyone's surprise, James emerged from the rubble, his body covered in cuts and dripping blood, in a pitiful state similar to Sucheon.

With his arm, James wiped the blood from his mouth and fixed his gaze on Sucheon. "You surprised me... I must admit, but this has come to an end," he said with determination.

Gesturing with his hands downward, a silver and blue aura descended from the sky.

Sucheon quickly created a shield, but his eyes reflected astonishment as the energy passed through his defense and body, continuing downward. He immediately felt his body become heavy and experienced difficulty in summoning his power.

The aura passed through everyone present before fading away as it passed through the ground.

From the sky, Sucheon fell, and his gravity field disappeared.

James smiled and declared. "Let's begin with round two." Instantly, a silver aura enveloped him, creating cracks in his surroundings as he began to levitate. Smiling mischievously, he added. "I hope we have fun."

A powerful attack was launched towards Sucheon. In his thoughts, James pondered. 'I won't be able to hold out much longer, I'm running out of energy, but he's expended much more than I have.'

Meanwhile, Sucheon was filled with determination and rage, painstakingly creating a shield to meet the incoming attacks.

The resulting explosion from the impact echoed through the air, but James did not relent and continued to throw punches.

Sucheon, driven by his conviction and fury, did not lag and continued to fight, exhausting every fragment of energy he had left.

The dust raised by the explosions gradually accumulated until visibility was drastically reduced. After a few seconds, when the dust storm slowly subsided, the scene became discernible.

Sucheon, his body severely wounded and barely holding on to his feet, looked at James with bloodshot eyes. In his mind, he repeated over and over again. 'This cannot end like this. I must inflict more damage on him.'

James, on the ground and with considerable injuries, although less severe than Sucheon's, observed his opponent and without hesitation lunged towards him.

Seeing James approaching, Sucheon smiled internally and began to circulate his energy to manifest his most powerful technique.

James quickly appeared over Sucheon in an attack attempt, but realized that Sucheon was also preparing a counterattack. Quickly, James created a bubble around Sucheon's attack.

Sucheon's attack began to slowly dissipate, and at that moment, James smiled. Less than a meter away, with his hand wrapped in an aura, James launched his own attack. However, to his surprise, Sucheon smiled as well and his attack, which had previously disappeared, transformed into a dark black ball that absorbed some of James' power.

Two explosions merged into a single shockwave, and again the teachers stepped in to protect their students.

Sucheon was thrown backwards, crashing into the bleachers in a deplorable state and with severe injuries, all over his body.

Meanwhile, James, kneeling and vomiting blood, managed to struggle to his feet. Everyone present could see that his left arm was injured and practically unusable.

An overwhelming silence reigned amidst shock and disbelief.

James turned to Samantha, Teresa and Emily, and with a somewhat comical expression pointed to Sucheon, who lay knocked out on the floor. "Did you see that madman? He used his attack just to hurt me, not caring about the aftermath of his own attack," he said in a mocking tone.

His words broke the tension in the atmosphere.

Samantha, Teresa and Emily sighed with a smile.

"You took it too lightly," Teresa commented.

"It was obvious they were going to have a plan to take us on, and you're the one who revealed their power the most. It was up to you to take on someone with the ability that would somewhat counteract your power," Samantha pointed out.

"With his gravity power, he could distort space, neutralizing your power to a great extent," Emily added.

James smiled knowingly and walked calmly towards his companions, as if his injuries didn't affect him at all, disinterestedly, he stood next to the others.

Teresa raised an eyebrow and touched his arm, which caused James to shiver and his face to twitch in pain.

"What are you doing...it hurts!" exclaimed James towards Teresa.

Teresa simply smiled and played it down.

Meanwhile, Miyoung, Chul, Giwook and Suhan watched Sucheon and pondered. 'His strength has grown considerably in a short period.'

'Immediately, take Sucheon to the infirmary,' Inhyuk urged with concern as they took care of the situation.

Two individuals quickly appeared and took Sucheon away in the direction of the infirmary.

Jiwoo, from the bleachers, watched in surprise and thought. 'They've grown considerably in the time I wasn't with them'.

"I'll be next," Jisuk declared, advancing toward the center of the arena.

Inhyuk, visibly worried, turned his gaze towards Jisuk as he prepared for the next confrontation.

In one of the stands, Jiyoung watched with his unperturbed expression, though a shadow of unease crossed his eyes as he saw Jisuk ready for the fight.
