29 He's Such a Busybody!

After buying the regeneration potions from George, Su Ling left the store and went to the base of those Nine Demons Pagoda.

"Hmm? I wonder what kind of pagoda is that?" George was interested by the Nine Demons Pagoda. "Mmn.. I already marked her soul in my minimap, so i could go there. Actually let's go see it!" The marking of a soul is actually similar to waypoints, but it was on a person instead of places.

But after thinking for a while, George didn't go outside. "Well.. actually i can go later. It's still hot outside! Let's just wait for a few hours."

Su Ling walked stealthily, but it was aimless in the Zhenqiu city. She was searching for all of the fellow disciple from the Soaring Cloud Faction. She was one of the best inner disciple in the Soaring Cloud Faction, so she had to save her fellow disciples that was caught by those demon cultivator from the Nine Demons Pagoda.

"What's wrong with those demon cultivators? Why are they attacking our faction?! And where are the elders?" There're many question unanswered that made Su Ling and all of the disciples that successfully escaped from the hands of the demon cultivators felt very uneasy.

Su Ling frowned when he remembered things that happened. It was very strange, but she had one thing to be done. "I have to search for Feifei and the other first!" she thought.

"They should be still in this city! I hope they're fine.." They actually came here together to escaping the grasp of those demon cultivators, but they were separated.

As one of the strongest inner disciple, Su Ling has protected Feifei and the others who can't fight. Because of that, she was injured very badly. Even though she was injured severely, she kept saying that she was fine.

But a few days ago, they were ambushed by those demon cultivators. Because of that, all of them get scattered around the city.

"The last time we were here before we got ambushed by those demon cultivators! There must be some clue somewhere!" She searched everywhere and asked people about it, but it was not working at all. She didn't find any of her fellow disciples nor the demonic cultivator.

She didn't have any other choice, but to search for the Nine Demons Pagoda's base.

"Oh? She is still in Zhenqiu? I didn't know that Nine Demons Pagoda is inside of this city." He followed Su Ling with his minimap.

Oh? There is she!

"Hey! What are you doing here?" Said George while Su Ling was in stealth.

She almost died of shock when she heard that. She knows that it was him, but she didn't think that he will shout like that. While frowning, Su Ling replied "No, what are you doing here? Do you want me to die?! Why are you shouting like that?"

"Ahaha... i didn't know that you are actually spying them! I just bored, so i walked around. And then i saw you from the distance."

Su Ling once again was shocked by him. "How could he do that? This is a hidden place that i just found! Maybe it wasn't really hidden!" she thought.

"Let's move! I'm afraid if we stayed any longer, we'll got caught by those demon cultivators!!"

George nodded in agreement. "By the way, where are we going?"

Su Ling simply said "The Nine Demons Pagoda, of course! Wait.. why are you coming with me?" she frowned.

George laughed when he heard that. "I'm actually very curious about that pagoda! I'd like to see it. Besides, i'm bored."

Su Ling facepalmed when she heard that. "Don't you have a store to be guarded?"

George smiled "It's already night, so i decided to close the shop."

"ARGH.. I have another people to be protected! Why is he such a busybody?" thought she.

George saw her sour face, so he smiled awkwardly. "Don't worry.. I'm not a trash! If you noticed my cultivation state, my cultivation state is definitely higher than you."

Su Ling nodded. "He is right. He is actually stronger than me." she think. She didn't even think that George was going to betray her, as the chance are very low, because when she was supposed to die, he helped her by giving her a regeneration potion for free. Furthermore, two is better than one.

"Okay.. when we arrived, tell me where is it! I want to try an interesting idea on their base!" Smiled George. "Oh, yeah.. drink this potion when we are near their base. It was a night vision potions. It only works for eight minutes."

Potion of night vision was one type of potions that he brewed last night. It's pretty expensive to make, as it needs a golden carrot to make that. One golden carrot cost a thousand credits, so when he sell this kind of potions, it should be more than one spirit stone.

Su Ling was confused by that. "What's a night vision potion?"

George replied "Uhh.. a potion that'll make your eyes can see in a very dark place."

Su Ling narrowed her eyes in shock. Another life changing elixir! Even though the duration was only eight minutes, it's still worth it nonetheless.

It was really a game changing potions, as many assassins liked to lurk and blended into the night, but with this potion, you can see them clearly.

Su Ling was moved by him. Such a precious elixir was given to me for free. "Thanks."

George only smiled when he saw the gratitude from her eyes. "It's no big deal."

Her heart thumped when he say things like that.

"Let's go! I wanted to destroy their base!" When he thought of a situations where there is a flying wither that destroying the Nine Demons Pagoda's base, he smiled creepily. People who saw his smile will shuddered and froze in place.

When Su Ling saw that, she thought herself "Is it a wrong decision to bring him?"
