Summoning

With this new found power, Indra was ready to go back and dish out his revenge against his father and brother. His Mangekyou Sharingan also had the ability to produce black flames called Hinokagutsuchi from his left eye. His right eye had the ability to summon Cthulhu and another ability of these eyes is the ability to construct Susanoo, a giant humanoid being that was physically stronger, armed and very resistant to attacks.

He trained even more in order to get the complete Susanoo for he could only bring out the rib cage. When he could finally let Susanoo out in its complete form without feeling the consumption of Chakra, he felt he was ready to go and get his revenge. He traced his way back to the village where he found his brother and father waiting for him.

"Indra, what you have done, you have gone too far for redemption!" his father shouted.

"For revenge, everything I have done is necessary. You are just too cowardly to care!" Indra shouted back then looked at his brother. "Asura, I hope you have gotten his powers because I am taking back by honor!"

"I don't want to fight you, Oniisan. Why do you want to resolve this in bloodshed?"

"Because that's the only way the strong reach the top, by climbing over a mountain of bodies, their eyes always on the prize, not the result," Indra shouted back.

"You think that because you are strong everyone will follow you? You are a fool and an idiot!" his father shouted.

"We see things differently, father. While you see dictatorship, I see..."

"Your twisted mind only sees what it wants to see! Asura, there's no talking to him, he has chosen his path, what path will you take?" his father asked. Asura looked at the village behind him then at his brother who was smiling.

"Oniisan, I am sorry!" Asura said and prepared his ninshu attack.

"I'm not. Let the world know that I am the one who will become the Sage and go beyond it today," Indra said then clapped his hands. Immediately, a giant fireball came out of his mouth, engulfing everything in its path till it reached the two who jumped out of its way.

Indra then clapped his hands and a powerful gale of wind speed out of his mouth, sending his father flying away, leaving the two brothers there.

Asura glared at his brother and charged forward, only to see Indra appear in front of him and send him flying upwards with a kick on his stomach that made him spit out blood. Indra clapped his hands then spew out a huge jet of flames that made the air heating up like crazy, heading straight at Asura who used his ninshu to make a giant stream of water that luckily extinguished the fire but steam filled the air.

Indra was keeping track on him all this while that even the steam was not impeding him. Indra saw his brother falling to another point so he appeared there in a second and with a punch covered with Chidori, he prepared himself to kill his brother. But Asura was a great combatant too and a competent sensor. When he sensed Indra below him, he prepared himself with a giant ninshu attack. When he was just a couple metres off the ground, he released the ninshu that caused a huge explosion that blew them apart from each other.

When the steam receded, everyone in the village could see a huge crater where Asura had detonated his ninshu but the two brothers were okay. Then came the battle between a ninshu user and a ninjutsu user. Their attacks caused the ground to be devastated even further and due to their vast amount of chakra, they were using large attacks with huge AOE with each attack! By half a day, the two were panting, sweating and almost out of chakra. That's when their father, Hogoromo Otsutsuki, arrived.

"Enough!" he shouted at Asura then used the Deva Path, Shinra Tensei to send Indra flying away. He arrived next to Asura who was panting hard.

"He has become too strong!" Asura told his father.

"I know, he hasn't even started using all of his abilities," Hogoromo said, looking at where Indra had been sent flying to. Just then, a ring made of strange energy appeared in front of them and out came Indra. He was smiling a little bit too much, enjoying the look of confusion on his father and brother's face.

"What is that energy, Indra? It feels ancient, powerful yet sinister!" Hogoromo cried out, already on guard.

"This is the energy I will be using to fight you, father. You cannot absorb it with your eyes and it chose to manifest in me," Indra floated, making Hogoromo more apprehensive.

Indra then gained chains made of this energy that were glowing blue. He grinned at Hogoromo then started swinging them at him. Hogoromo made a staff out of his Truth Seeking Balls and tried to parry the chain but he was sent flying backwards as if he had been punched by a powerful being. He sprawled severally on the ground before he came to a stop. He got up shakily then looked at his hands where each half of the black staff was held before it dissipated.

"Don't get distracted, father!" Indra shouted as he appeared above him and swung the chain on his right hand. Hogoromo jumped out of the way, making the chain hit the ground where he was, making a huge gorge just from the impact. Hogoromo's eyes almost fell out of his socket in terror!

"The more I swing the chains the stronger the force becomes till the chain hits you!" Indra said and swung once more. Hogoromo dodged but the impact from the chains hitting the ground was even stronger than before! Indra continued doing this till he finally hit his father who was sent flying to the distance, almost all of his bones broken from the impact.

"INDRA!" Asura cried out when he saw this and attacked only to be one shot killed by his brother with just one swing. Hogoromo saw this and quickly activated the Outer Path, reviving his son who fell to the ground in shock and terror. Indra looked at his father in anger and swung at him. Hogoromo smiled when he saw this for Indra just used the same hand he used to hit him meaning the force will minimal. He let it hit but the chain suddenly coiled around him and he found his chakra draining out of him faster than he could blink. In seconds, his vast chakra was siphoned out, making him look at Indra in shock.

"You are in my way!" Indra said then turned to his brother. The chain he had disappeared as he grinned at him. "That's not all I had for you, Otousan!" Indra said then his Sharingan started revolving faster and faster before the pattern changed which was swirled lines that originated from his pupils. Asura felt his chakra suddenly spike to a greater amount that it became suffocating. Indra did not even give him breathing time before he started attacking him with taijustu, overwhelming his little brother who was almost out of chakra. But his physique was very much enough to hold out to the beaten without dying. In an hour, Asura was lying on the ground with labored breathing. Hogoromo had tears in his eyes when he saw his sons killing each other just for a title.

"INDRA!" Hogoromo shouted at him, making Indra look at him, apathetically.

"What do you want, old man?" Indra asked him.

"I will give you my powers if you promise me that you will let your brother live!" Hogoromo stated. When Asura heard this, he regained some of his strength as he struggled to get up.

"Father, no! Just let me die. The powers of the Six Path Sage cannot fall onto his hands!" Asura shouted but his brother pushed him back down in amusement before going to talk to his father.

"That is a power I have wanted all my life, father. You taught us that this power will help us become the strongest in the world and it in turn brought greed to my heart. But, this power is no more of importance to me. I already have Eldritch Magic, a power not even your six paths bullshit can hold a candle to!"

"Is that so! Good thing I gave almost all of it to your brother. EVERYONE, NOW! GIVE ALL YOUR NINSHU TO ASURA!" Hogoromo roared, making Indra frown. When he looked around, he saw the villagers giving Asura their chakra through ninshu, making the previous close to death young man get up, ready to fight. His whole body was going through transformations as even his chakra became larger and larger till it paled Indra's. As if to spite him, a giant structure appeared behind him. It was a statue of a Buddha with a thousand of arms behind him. This shocked Indra so much he lost concentration on the chains bounding Hogoromo. The old man got up, feeling his chakra replenishing as he stared at his two sons.

"I am going to give back the pain you caused our father a hundred fold!" Asura roared.

"You're not the only one with summons!" Indra chuckled then summoned his Susanoo only to find the statue actually dwarfed it. Not willing to give up, he attacked it with its sword only to be pummeled by countless hands into the ground.

"I saw how exhausted you were when using those chains! It means you have not mastered that power yet!" Asura said as he continued making the hands punch the Susanoo till it broke and Indra received the punches instead. When Asura stopped, a huge and deep crater had been formed around them and Indra seemed to be on his last breath. He looked at his brother and then started laughing.

"So this is the power of inheritance, hard work is no match!" he wheezed then coughed violently. "I thought my hard work would triumph, it appears I was wrong. I didn't want to use this, Asura, you made me!" Asura become alert and prepared for another onslaught. Indra smiled to him. "This is my power of inheritance. Cthulhu!" A gigantic beast appeared in front of him, causing the sky to be covered with dark clouds as if to foreshadow the evil he would be bringing to this world. When everyone saw the being, they could not even breath properly because everyone and everything was feeling the primordial fear. Even the True Several Thousand Hands only reached his waist. Of course, the person controlling Cthulhu was Kai.

"So this is what inside a universe looks like!" Kai's voice boomed, causing thousands of heart attacks before he realized it, even though he didn't. He turned to look at Indra who was breathing less and less before placing one claw on his chest. Indra felt himself come back from death, all his chakra replenished.

"Thank you!" Indra bowed in respect.

"We have work to do," Kai said as he squatted in front of the tiny person.
