Elder Blood Witcher

Most people who die and are confronted with a godlike being like to take the easy route... Not this guy. I have been sitting on this concept for a while and want to see if I can write it, starting with the Witcher then the game Absolver and then onto Darksouls 1. Don't rely on there being consistent updates because its unlikely... Barbarous Terror

Tyrael blinks again after the blackness fades, finding himself back in the area where they'd confronted Diablo. Speaking of which, the Lord of Terror was currently surrounded in black smoke which was also enveloping the other members of his group.

He gives Barnock a kick but the large man doesn't even flinch, whatever Diablo was doing had clearly closed their minds off from any outside stimuli... This wouldn't be all that bad as he considered Mathias, and Barnock strong-willed people who could break out on their own, but with the many creatures slowly approaching them, they'd likely not get the chance.

The only positive to the situation was the fact that Diablo was also unable to move, his magic requiring all of his attention. Tyrael would just dash over there and cut the head off of the demon, but his companions would be torn to shreds by the time he got there, and that's not even mentioning the likelihood that Diablo had countermeasures against such a thing.

So, instead of charging at the demon Tyrael quickly shoved his unconscious but still standing allies behind him and confronted the many mutated demons.

Tyrael "Back you foul beasts! Or let El'druin gain some notches with your spines!" he exclaims, waving his blade at them menacingly.

(Terrifying Transition)

Barnock woke up with a start... He sits up and his eyes dart around rapidly, surveying the inside of his large hut... On both sides were his mistresses, both still sleeping by wearing small frowns at losing Barnock's warmth.

His home? Why is he here? Wait... What was he doing just now?... Familiar yet unrecognisable thoughts race through his mind, but he's unable to comprehend most of them. Shaking his head, he lays back down and pulls his two mistresses closer, deciding that it'd just been a bad dream, one that he seems to have immediately forgotten.

Talia and Kamala, both beautiful daughters of a friend of his... He'd been gifted them as a reward for slaying a great beast that'd killed their mother. Of course, he would have rejected them had they been forced into it, but the girls were infatuated with him and he had qualms with Polygamy.

He lies there for an hour, two hours, four hours... He wasn't tired, he merely just wanted to rest here for a while, somehow he felt nostalgic. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was ruined by a peculiar sound-making itself known.

What was peculiar about it? Well, in the jungle there were only a few sounds you'd expect. The usual natural ones like the ruffling of leaves, rain, felling of tree's, etc. And there'd also be the odd animal cry, for combat, mating, or any other purpose. But none sounded even remotely close to whatever that strange chiming sound was.

He extracted himself from the two ladies and made his way out of his hut, smiling at seeing his tribe greater than ever and healthy. He'd not lie when he said that they were approaching the prosperity that'd been brought forth by Bul-Kathos in the past, he held a great deal of pride at being one of the people that'd facilitated it.

His nose twitches and he slowly turns his head, his eyes widening as he spots the black plumes of smoke that's almost invisible in the night sky... Were it not for the stars, he'd not have even noticed it.

He retrieves his axe and shouts for everyone to stay alert, sprinting towards it with the speed of a horse and the power of an ox. He skillfully made his way through the thick underbrush as if he were a well-seasoned predator, eventually reaching the small outpost where the smoke had been coming from.

The small of burned flesh and blood was thick in th air, Barnock had thought another tribe had raided them, but apparently he was wrong... Large creatures with red scales and terrifying bodies were scattered throughout the clearing, most of which had turned towards him as he'd entered.

Barnock "Demons... No..." he mutters, they shouldn't be here. They couldn't be here... They must have been brought here by someone, if they'd manage to creature a permanent way into Sanctuary they were all doomed.

He sprints ahead to slaughter the creatures that'd butchered his friends and members of his tribe, crushing one's head with a stomp while cutting another in two with his axe. He kept a calm mind as if he went berserk here, he'd not be able to get back to his tribe in time to warn them.

It took half an hour or so to completely wipe out the demons here, but when he turns in the direction of his tribe, he notices plumes of smoke where there hadn't been before... His heart beats furiously as he sprints back to see what'd happened

He almost felt his legs give out when he returned, blood was everywhere and bodies of his friends and family were strewn about the place, huts were burning and demons continued butchering people left and right, even their corpses weren't spared as small imps mutilated them further while giggling like children.

He sprinted towards his own hut, finding that its wall had been destroyed, and two trails in the mud had been left as something dragged Talia and Kamala away.

Without a second thought, he followed the trail, anger bubbling inside him as he envisioned what could have befallen his lovers. He didn't have to wait much longer to find out, as when he exited a treeline he was greeted by an absolutely huge demon, one he somehow immediately recognised...

Barnock "Diablo... What have you done!?" he exclaims, not questioning how he knew its name.

The demon shows its teeth as if it were mimicking a grin, "Why don't you see, mortal?" it says before gesturing towards some sort of torture device. Many people were placed on it, and all of them lacked skin, limbs, eyes, genitals, and much more Barnock would rather not think about.

Diablo "And here we have today's selection of ingredients! Two women from a Barbarian tribe, but skinned and seasoned... A large male Barbarian, tenderised thoroughly with a touch of absolute despair... Now, you may be thinking that these flavours would clash, and you'd be right, but we're demons so who gives a shit." he says, biting into the Barbarian leg which gives a satisfying *Crunch* in response.

Yah, Demons are all sadists, who'da thought.

Hope you like the chap, if I missed anything please let me know.
