Antarctic Discovery and Return

After our couple time in our Leyndell palace. Ranni led me to Antartica. We re-entered Earth over the continent where she wanted. I saw a structure made of magical ice, her work no doubt. 

"Some inside my Lord...", Ranni says as she leads me into the structure.

Walking through the chilly halls, we arrive at a large room. Within, is a grand skeleton. A dragon skeleton. Eastern in style, but still a dragon.

I chuckle, "You found a dragon skeleton. I was under the impression they were all extinct since long ago on Earth. Nice to see some proof of their existence after all this time."

"True my Lord. However, this skeleton is not the main reason I wanted to you to come here. For I found something much more lively.", Ranni explains.

We go to the side of the large room, to a hefty container. Ranni opens it, and beckons me to look inside. I walk over and look.

I smile in mild surprise, "You found viable 10 dragon eggs. I am actually impressed you found them, let alone found them alive."

Ranni agrees, "Yes, it is quite a small miracle. Which is why I called upon you so their fate may be decided."

Well, the appropriate action to take does not elude me for long.

"Their fate is no mystery. Placidusax will be put in charge of their safekeeping, and upbringing. Along with the other royal dragons when they are available. As this species of dragon that only numbers 10, their care is of upmost importance. The Dragon Lord will see them hatched and raised to be powerful.", I decide in a second.

"A wise decision my lord.", Ranni says with a small smile.

"Indeed, no reason to gawk around them anymore. Let's get them to Placidusax.", I say.

The container is closed and magically picked up. I open a portal Farum Azula, and we step in.

We levitate around the city to the dwelling of Placidusax. An open, walled space that fits his size but does no disservice to his majesty.

Placidusax stirs as enter his dwelling.

"Elden Lord...how may I be of service to you?", Placidsux asks before turning his two heads towards the container.

Ranni opens the container and I explain, "10 viable dragon eggs from Earth. The last of their species as far as I know. I have come to put them in your care. To ensure the survival of their draconic species. I am sure you and the other royals will be able to hatch and raise them properly.  "

Placidusax says seriously, "As the Dragon Lord, it is my duty to ensure the prosperity of dragons. I will not allow a single one of these eggs to gain a scratch. I'll summon Lansseax to assist me. She'll be able to ensure their safety as well as I."

"Then I leave them in your hands, and the hands of Lannseax. Farewell for now then Placidusax.", I finally say as he receives the container.

With the eggs secure, Ranni and I leave Farum Azula. A wonderful city when it isn't crumbling within a time anomaly.

"Ranni, I should be attending to my Divine Isle on Earth now. Bialya's situation should have calmed down for now too. I should oversee the change of power. As why it is under my control, I have no need for the desert version of Caelid. One Caelid is enough. It would put the mortals at ease too.", I say to her.

My plans on Earth are rather simple. I don't want to take over the world, as she knows.

"I understand my Lord. I've been meaning to seek out a goddess known as Hecate anyways. Afterwards, the yellow Martians.", Ranni tells me her next moves.

I raise an eyebrow at Hecate's mention, "Oh, well she knows what good for her, Hecate will entertain you. Enjoy your magical learning my Dear."

"Of course my Lord. Enjoy your subtle take over of Earth.", Ranni teases as she fades away in silver moonlight.

I scoff, "How'd she know I was going to be subtle?"

That is the plan though. I will not take over the Earth by taking land or ruling over the mortals. I will take over the Earth by being it's shield. As the planet gradually comes under my protection, it will come under my control all the same.

I don't even think Batman will be able to see through my plan.
